Gem in Crawfordville !!! Doesn't look like much on the outside but we had amazing food!!! Great service, our waiter was so sweet and friendly, loved the atmosphere and they have live music weekends at night. Hours Wed- Sun 12:00 pm to close! Come try them out!!!!

Five of us stopped at Ouzts Too for lunch. The place is not look great from the road but their homemade freshly prepared food makes up for everything. My wife had the heathen fish sandwich with Cole slaw and I had the oyster basket with fries. Those oysters were the best fried oysters that I have had in years. The fries and the hush puppies were very good also. Very friendly staff and excellent service.

Great food at a fair price. Just an old school Florida Cracker restaurant. The fried shrimp basket is very good.

We went on a Wednesday evening. VERY few people there. It is dirty inside. The service was horrible. ALL of our orders were wrong. It took OVER AN HOUR to get our food. One plus, the raw oysters were good. THAT IS IT. The beer was warm. Never refilled my water. Whatever they fried their food in was OLD OLD grease. I ordered a shrimp and oyster basket GRILLED. The shrimp were like rubber totally overdone and cold. And they fried my oysters. WTH. The excuse they gave was...."come back tomorrow, that's when the food truck comes..." no, I will NOT be coming back. Very frustrating to say the least. The one star is so that I can give a review. If I could make it a half star, I would.

In an area known for its oysters, this place stands out with incredibly fresh and delicious oysters. We've gone for late lunch and live music the last 2 Sunday's. It's a funky biker bar vibe, extremely friendly group and good rock music. We've tried the raw oysters, blackened grouper sandwich and blackened grouper plate, hooter brown ale from our local oyster city brewery and that's it so far. All fresh and tasty. Cannot give it 5 stars because there is no table service at all. You have to get up and stand on line to order your food and all drink refills. They do run the food out to you. Tables and chairs are grungy and I suspect they are fostering the "funky Florida tiki bar" vibe, but I've gotten to be a germaphobe in the last few years and I'd trade a little of the local authenticity for clean tables and chairs.

OMG. It's good. Period. Food is fresh, seasoned well, beer is cold and service is great.

They had lunch specials, but I selected a fried shrimp lunch platter from their regular menu. It was a large portion, which is a bonus! The shrimp were good, not over cooked. The fries were regular (previously frozeseasoned fries. The cheese grits were majorly lacking. It was as if there was NO salt added, and some of the grits were clumped together/hard, and the cheese was only in random places. The cheese grits are not what I was expecting and not something I would recommend. My dining partner (the local) ordered a blueberry cheesecake, which I assume is home made. It was also very bland/simple. I'm not local, so the opportunity to go back is not likely. But I would give it another try, if I didn't have a choice or was pressured by my local friend. (There are NOT a lot of choices as this is a very rural area).

Their daily specials are posted on their facebook page so that is a great resource. I love to get the Bourbon Chicken and noodles which is a Friday special. They have some of the best burgers around. I got a double cheeseburger and FF for $10! There are options to dine-in as well as a take out window on the side of the establishment. Service is quick and efficient and perfect if you are on a lunch break from work. Take out is easy peasy as well. I have not yet tried the homemade desserts but I have heard from ALOT of people that they are truly amazing and I believe the owner is still taking special orders for cakes.

We also had a small grilled redfish and fried oyster dinners with sides. Both were tasty but the oysters were the star of our lunch. The swamp cabbage was different than I've had before and it was good. We wanted Mullet Backs but they didn't have any mullet dishes available. Guess we'll just have to try it again on our next visit to the area.

Cindy our server greeted us immediately after being seated, we were seated in the back of the restaurant which allowed me to look at what the locals were eating, yeah almost every table had oysters either raw on the shell or chargrilled which were all sized large. There are lots of options here no matter your preference We both got crispy fried catfish and I added fried shrimp I opted for a side I've never seen on any menu anywhere "Swamp Cabbage" (sautéed heart of palm with bacon) I covered it with a healthy dose of Trappy's Pepper Vinegar, it's definitely an acquired taste I'm sure but delicious, we also ordered fries which came with a generous portion of thumb size hushpuppies served with guava jam. We also ordered an order of Lacy's Rockin Oysters for an appetizer, they arrived about half way through our dinner service but well worth the wait for sure, a few dozens of these would make a wonder meal by itself - everything was delicious and the prices are a very good value - a shout out again to our server Cindy she was exceptional. If you're in the area and want some fresh seafood and the freshest oysters this is definitely the place to come. The area is still recovering from the last hurricane which devastated the area but it seems all is well here...
