Hands-down, the worst company I ever had to deal with! they missed our trash pick up last week called customer service gave us the runaround, blah blah blah today they picked up our trash, including our trash bins without letting us know what was going on. Call them to find out what the issue is they were not sure so now the best they can do is bring us new trash bins a week from now! so now we have to pile up trash bags on the side of our house for a full week and hope no animals get into the trash bags and make an absolute mess! Looking at all these reviews, I am shocked that this company doesn't try and change things but I guess when you have a monopoly on the trash game, screw the customer that pays for the service. if you own poultry do not go to this dump they improperly dispose of birds suspected of having Newcastle disease witch will bring it back to your property or others that you work on if dumping of a load on your vehicle and shoes. On a regular basis, the service at best is irregular. Missed cans, no pick ups on scheduled days is the norm for this service. The only consistent performance is their inconsistency of delivering their service when scheduled. It does not matter if you are on time or before the due date fo payment. You will be treated as though you were grossly delinquent in payment. Today is just another day of the sub standard service for Waste Management. When you do contact them, a runaround is what is guaranteed with no resolution and grandiose promises of future correction that never occurs. read more

Regular pickup ok! Bulk pickup giving the run around and send me email while I'm on the phone asking when they will pickup. Picked up sofa last week and left the love seat because it wasn't on curb. My request was for 2 pieces and the loveseat was 5' away! Who really knows when it will happen? Neighbor called for two weeks and they never picked up their request! read more

I will start with the readers digest version. 3 weeks ago my green trash was not taken on my regular trash day. I called waste management and they claimed that my garbage can was too heavy. I found this hard to believe because I carried my green waste (tree trimmings) in two trips with my bare hands. So, I took over half of the stuff out of the can. The next trash day the same trash can did not get picked up. I called again and they said it was because my trash lid was not closed. I took a drive around the neighborhood and looked at other trash cans that were not picked up yet. What I noticed out of approximately 100 houses, there was not a single trash can with the lid closed because of the overflow of cans. So, I called waste management again and they lived up to their name (waste). I got some guy who claimed to be a route manager and said he would schedule a "courtesy" pick up. Well they never came for the next 5 days. I called once more to see the status of my "courtesy" pick up. I was told that it was entered in the system, but obviously no one ever went out. And here is the repetition, I was told I was going to get another "courtesy" request. Low and behold it never got picked up again. I called once more and I am sure anyone can guess what happened, but I am going to tell you. I got told sorry yet again and they would schedule a "courtesy" pick up. I was told I would get a call back from the route manager to confirm the pick up and I was once again ignored. Bottom line my trash has not been picked up for 3 weeks due to the incompetence of a county facility and their staff. I guess its a personal thing since mine is the only house they have not picked up in 3 weeks. Anyway, I have no idea good luck dealing with these clowns. read more

Called waste management today about 4:40 to inquire about renting a dumpster, transferred 3 times and had to give information each time. When I was transferred 4th time I thought finally some help. I explain to rep. What I had already explained to 3 previous rep. And her response was I will look that up for you and put me on hold where the message came on. Thank you for calling waste management we are currently closed. What a way to treat a paying customer. read more

I was accidentally charged a 25 dollar fee for an uncovered load that was covered. I called the office and was told that Stacey would call me back. I thought here we go with the smoke and mirror tricks. She called me back in a few hours and said she would check the video. The next day she called me and confirmed that I was charged incorrectly and quickly fixed the issue. Stacey was more than polite and professional and a pleasure to deal with in these trying times. read more

Again, our neighborhood has been missed for pickup for one of our containers. This time it's the GREY container. This has happened on more than five occasions for one container or the other over the past year. AND, since a Friday pickup is our day, contacting anyone at all of WM is non-existent. And, now this is a Holiday weekend so it will be Tuesday. Everytime we call in for the same issue, they always indicate that everything was picked up. What kind of a "routine" answer is that???How can a business this large not have "on-call" lines available. It's unsightly for the neighborhood and when the container is full of perishable substances it's really awful. This process is broken and needs to be FIXED. Thank you. read more

This is the equivalent of...what I would guess customer service might be if you were to combine the DMV clerk and a jail warden. The absolute worst customer service. Week after week I am promised an extra pick up ..one clerk says oh , they couldn't access your street because of construction. I say "oh, the other trash was picked up..." Next email, "they went, you did not have it on the curb"....I responded "I was just told they couldn't access because of construction" they respond "we have record access and the city reports no construction on your street" ....WHAT!! First there was construction. ....but that was there argument ....so now I'm trying to argue that there was...but it doesn't matter cause they didn't come ....next week ....no service....next week a ticket from the wonderful city... For the loveseat....no waste mgmt....I leave a review ....am contacted by Manuela....seems very nice....oh we will pick up. .nothing ...today I live chat and told by Sandra there is no active account at my address. read more
