I've never left a review before. I can and will address business in person. Dr's are a business like others. If you don't want to do business with that person then move on. The owner/Dr's never in 4 years said hello, how are you today. Every time I went there, she seemed to have a problem with me. The last time I saw Dr's. Parul Mehta 3 weeks ago, she was extremely rude to the point that she's fired. She has no problem telling you unkind things. Enough said about that. I don't believe in character assassination, but this time it has warrants. I gave a 3 star review because Lori, the staff, and the Dr's assistants deserve recognition for their work. Honestly, I have had excellent service and the work they did was great. however, with the NY I upgraded my insurance. I went in for a root canal Covered 90 percent by my insurance. I was charged 689. As I was in the chair waiting, I pressed a voice memo on my phone and called my insurance from another phone. Capturing the whole Situation. After Lori and Veronica blamed each other, I was refunded 435. That doesn't sit right with me, I went home and called my insurance and raised red flag concerns. I have gone back to my bank statements and submitted them along with proof of payment. Now there's an investigation to Assure all my payments are according to the fee schedule. Also, the male dentist who did my root canal told me and was captured on the voice memo That he was NOT an Endodontist. I was charged as a specialist to work on me. Had open enrollment just passed, and I did not upgrade I would not have realized. I do not want to take away from the Dental back office or the dentist, That part was top Notch! I've never written a review before but looking at these bad reviews breaks my heart. I injured my teeth in a fall awhile ago right before a major life event. Despite the urgency and lack of money they treated me as best they could considering the circumstances. I was there for hours as they explained to me what treatment plans I could undergo. The ladies here showed me so much compassion when I was distraught and were understanding of my financial difficulties. They did an amazing job and due to their amazing work I could attend that life event with a full smile. They go above and blind to make sure you understand your services. I never leave reviews but this place deserves one. I been going here for a little over a year and the ladies working here are very nice. They go out of their way to make you feel taken care of. They give extra advice to teach things which is good for people like me who grew up in foster care not being taught anything at all, they let you know what to expect with each tool they put in your mouth, and they All communicate really well with eachother to get all the patients needs handled. I shake and cry, and have panic attacks. i have never had a good experience, except here . they made sure i was okay and were very very sweet. the abs best dentist office I've ever been to. Dr Juhi was AMAZING. I can't wait to go back. she was so understanding and covered every question. she had an amazing attitude and made me feel safe. I AM TERRIFIED OF DENTAL WORK Especially root canals, which I had never had before. I just had heard that they suck. Well, I had to get one. My tooth hurt so bad. I called this office and was seen AND TREATED the next day. I was shaking and crying like a weenie and upon seeing this one of the assistants told me that she (and other staff) were moms and would treat me as if I was there own child. Don't get me wrong, the service was great and I supposedly got a $10 discount on my cleaning. Visited in July, billed to insurance and paid the rest of pocket before I left. Heard nothing from them since, but now in November I receive a bill for over $600 saying that it is more than 90 days overdue. Does not explain charges as all the statement says is balance forward. Very fraudulent, have heard of others having similar experiences. Have called for clarification but the moment I said I had an overdue statement, I was told I would be called back, but that has not happened. My first encounter was calling when a tooth broke. I was told to be there at 1 pm. Traffic that day was bad & I could see I was going to be around 15 minutes late so I called & was told to reschedule. Well, to start off I've been here just once. That was stopping by a few days later to make an appointment. It was around 11 am & when I tried to open the door it was locked. A pair of assistants were inside talking & one came to the door right away & opened it. Waiting area was empty. Hmmmm. I made my appointment for the following Monday morning @ 10am. That morning a plumbing problem at the house came up & I had to cancel so I called & got a recording that you hear when the office is closed even though it was during the business hours stated in the recording which also gave an "emergency 909 number" to call so I dialed that number too. It rang once & disconnected. We were referred here by our dental insurance company. Needless to say we will be changing dentists. A friend referred another in the area that I will call & see if he is on the insurance companies list. If not, I may just pay for it myself, well worth it for decent care & service. read more

I have not been to this Dentist, but I tried to park in their lot and was denied. They share the lot with a Pizza Hut, and keep a security guard here after hours to stop Pizza Hut customers from parking. The lot was empty (no other cars!), and no signs indicated that parking was for Dental patients only. We were asked to park on the other side of the lot. That seems mean spirited. I know that a review should be about services, but I think parking lot behavior reflects professionalism. I would not to give my business to a petty company. This office needs new parking lot signs, or should be kind to customers giving their business to adjoining properties. read more

The personnel there seemed very cordial and the work was done painlessly, but this dental office is not trust worthy. I came to this office because it is close to my job and would be convenient for lunch time appointments. I had a broken filling that needed to be replaced and that was all I thought I needed. After xrays, I was told that one of my crowns needed replacing. I had no pain, not sure why, and I was hesitant to have it done. They then convinced me to have it done because I had two dental policies and would not have to pay anything. My second policy had lapsed due to the death of my husband 2 months prior, but they told me that they would still be able to bill them. I thought this maybe a little shady, but I agreed to have the work done because I thought this was normal practice. When I came back to have the permanent crown placed I was asked to pay $100 dollars to settle my bill. I was somewhat suspicious, but agreed to pay just to be done with it. About 3 weeks ago, I received a bill for $417 stating that my husbands insurance refused to pay??? Well that should not be my problems seeing that they knew my husband was deceased when I had the work done and said that his insurance should still pay a portion of the bill. I think the billing specialist was deceitful and just wanted to pad the charges. They must make a commission or something. I called them to complain about what happened and now they "are willing" only charge me $175 as my balance. I'm not sure what I will do next, someone need to know this before they come to this office. Final thoughts, I think the dental board should investigate. read more

We were assigned this dentist by our insurance but when you call and call, we only got their voicemail for an entire Monday. Then we call Tuesday to find out they have not been accepting new patients since January BUT I was assigned this dentist before January. My husband is having a dental emergency and we can't make an appointment with the assigned dentist and we are told to call and change dentists. Now my HR rep is helping me figure out what is going on so we can get in for emergency help. I have Delta Dental PPO and am not sure whether I should blame the plan or the dentist. Anyway, here's a bit about my experience. The technicians are really nice, and you'll barely see the dentist. The dentist will try and push products (like an electric toothbrush and special mouthwash) at highly jacked up prices. I'm a grad student at UCR and the UCR Student Health Center does fillings for way less. The doctor reviewed my x-rays over a year ago and said I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed, and that my share of the cost would be $2,000. That seemed outrageous so I haven't gone through with the procedure yet. However, to be fair I haven't checked how much other providers would charge, but plan on doing so shortly. The most irritating experience I've had thus far is with their billing. Several times I have received notices from Delta Dental stating I was overdue on paying for a service. When I called the dentist's office I was told not to worry about the notice, and that they had forgotten to submit the claim (this happened 5 months AFTER my appointment). Blah, I think you can do better. I'm currently trying to find a good dentist that wont try and rip me off. read more

Although I live in Long Beach the drive to Riverside for dental services was well worth the trips. The office staff is very professional and courteous. They were welcoming and helpful and the longest I had to wait to see the dentist was about 15 minutes. They also called me several days before my appointment to remind me. I've had a crown, many fillings and a cleaning every year. The quality of the work is top notch. I've never had an issue with any of their dental work. I've had at least 4 or 5 crowns/temp crowns fall off within the first month which required recementing (1 had to be recemented 3 times), and 1 crown that fell off after 1.5 years. Also once I came in with tooth pain on #30, they did x-rays, there was no pathology seen on xray on #31 but somehow they ended up putting a crown on that one (I thought I was consenting for #30 before the procedure). The vibe I got from the office was that they try to pressure you into getting unnecessary treatment. Shady! 2 redeeming things about this office: everybody seems really friendly, and I haven't had to wait very long to schedule appointments. But because of the shoddy workmanship, I won't go there again. read more

I can't even get into see the dentist because the receptionist (Lourdes, Linda ?) won't let me make an appointment even though I'm assigned to this group through my hmo. I called Friday morning to make an appointment. She is very rude, short and has no people skills . Apparently she doesn't believe that I am a patient of them and wouldn't book me an appointment. I kept saying to her that I've been assigned to them and that I am patient but she kept cutting me off and telling me no, no no . Finally I said I literally just got off the phone with a rep and this is my dentist! Then she says well let call them and I'll call you back. She takes down all very personal info( like my social security # which Is prolly still sitting around her desk) and she'll call me back. For what? Idk. Maybe she still doesn't believe me that I'm assigned to them . Mind you, I'm calling to make a simple check up appointment and I was on the phone for 15 mins with the receptionist saying no, you can't go here, I don't believe you. Hours go by and I give the office a call again because I already took some time off work to go. She answers again and i ask her again can I make an appointment. This set her over the edge, she responds" its very busy here, I don't have time , Ill do it in a few hours!" Then hangs up. Lady, YOU'RE the one that doesn't believe I'm a patient and wants to call my insurance. I'm baffled at this point and don't know what to do . She obviously doesn't not want to make an appointment and I have to go there because I have a hmo there. So around 3:30 I call again to see if she "called my insurance" and they were closed. I've never worked so hard in my life to make an appointment. The following Monday I called again to make an appointment , praying she wasn't there . Well, she answered and I was able to get an appointment for the following friday( when I called previously she said the earliest was in 3 weeks...?????) then she noticed that it would be my first visit there . Then it was a completely different story ..."oh I need to call ur insurance make sure you're assignment to us, let me get ur info, I can't make you a appointment now". At this point I had given up. She is a good indicator how the office and there's noway I'm seeing the dentist if this is how their office ran. So a few hours later she actually called me back, she mubbles off something like , yes you're are assigned but we can't see you and hangs up on me before I get to say anything . This place made me get a yelp account just so i can write a review about them. They use a lot of new technology, like they have machine that automatically puts your x-rays as they are taking them into the machine, but the dentist just happens to not be able to read x-rays unless its on the computer. they make u pay $20 for the x-rays which i did not mind. The receptionist is very rude, look over the bill they give you twice because they are going to double charge you. I went there for the extraction of my wisdom tooth, just one. After three injections and my right cheek numb and absolutely no pain ltr my tooth was out the dentist put a gauze in my mouth and with another word said i could go home. The pain came three hours ltr, and i realized that i had been sent home with no discharge instructions or even a "take aspirin or ibuprofen at home." You guys could go there and maybe have a better experience but for me this is what happened. I am never going there again. Driving on University Ave I noticed that there was a florist shop and then after I saw this long building which was a dental business shared with a pizza business. My brother used to work for the hospitals as a security guard and he is very familiar with all the morgue and funeral home structural of a building. I can say this building has that funeral/morgue strutural and explains why the parking space is so limited. Imagine getting your teeth done in a room or standing where the pizza place where a coffin once used to be there for viewing. Creepy! read more

I have never written a review before but felt it was my DUTY to warn anyone even thinking about coming here. I made an appointment to get a wisdom tooth pulled and deep cleaning all in one appointment. When I got there they, of course collected all my non-covered fees for both (about 250 bucks)..the dentist came in, numbed me up, and yanked my tooth out and proceeded to tell me they couldn't do the deep cleaning today cause "I just had a tooth pulled and would bleed during the cleaning" I said " why didn't you do the cleaning first????? THEN the dentist stated "Well, to be honest I injured my hand over the weekend and I can't do the cleaning." I said "well I would have liked to be called to reschedule because now I'm gonna miss another day of work and you guys already collected my money????? He walked out and another staff member came in and said you can either reschedule or I can do the cleaning.." I said who are you?? a dental hygienist? She said "No, I'm a dental assistant" I said "deep cleanings are in your scope of practice" she shrugged and walked out. I demanded my money back for services not done. They said you have to come back in a week to get your extraction checked..I just walked out. One week later, after swelling, I felt a part of my tooth ..not all of it was pulled out..I switched dentists..never went back.. My husband said once he left work early for a cleaning and got there and they had to reschedule him do to plumbing issues..they never called to reschedule...he missed half day of work. read more
