READ ALL THE REVIEWS THAT HAVE TO DO WITH SALES!! This dealership is a complete scam! They should be ashamed of their selves. The only reason why they show up in Yelp with a 3.5-star rating is because of their riding classes. Their sales are absolutely terrible. I saw a few bikes online that I was interested in looking in. So, I called first to be sure they were available, and they were. I live in Oxnard so traveling out there was a long journey but as I said there were a few bikes that I really wanted. Got there around 2:30 after making an appointment only to be told I had to go to a warehouse to see them. Not a problem, got the entire family back in the car and drove a couple miles down the road. Once we got to the warehouse the guy that was supposed to let us in wasn't even there. We waited and waited until we finally suggested to our sales guy to go back to the dealership to see if he could get the key. So, he did and was back and we finally got in. The original bike I was going to get looked AMAZING online in the pictures and when we walked up to it, the bike was completely thrashed. Scratches, dents, missing taillights that were busted off, the headlight was barely hanging on there. I was in shock considering the pictures looked like the bike was brand new. I found that odd, but the sales guy said it was test drove "just the other day when a customer laid down the bike". I should have realized this was a red flag but since I had a few other bikes that I wanted to look at I let that one go. I found the other bike I was interested in. Got on it, it was perfect. I knew that was the bike I wanted. Drove back to the dealership started the paperwork and was told by the Assistant Sales Manager Ezra that he must show me numbers on the bike I want and numbers on a new bike because "that is how Harley does things". This wasn't my first experience with Harley but whatever I knew I didn't want new I wanted that used bike, but I let him go with it. He came back with insane numbers and truly focused on the new purchase price. Said Harley has all these incentives right now that I shouldn't pass up. They did sound good, so I asked him if he had a bike that I could look at that was the same model and engine size that I was looking for. His answer was NO. Why in the world would I want to get a new bike for more money if you don't even have the model I want? I told him never mind I wanted the used bike STILL. He left and then came another guy, Chris. He also talked to me about getting a new bike. I explained they didn't have anything on the lot. He told me they could upgrade my engine to meet my needs. WHY? After thinking about it I told Chris, I want the used bike and let's look at numbers. 6:15 rolls around. Myself and my family had been sitting alone waiting for them. I finally got up and had the receptionist page my sales guy. The Sales Manager Richard came up to me and asked if he could help. I explained to him that I was really frustrated at that point and we were about to leave because we haven't seen any numbers and it didn't seem like they wanted to sale me the bike I wanted. He asked for my name and then told me he did my numbers. He told me that they were at the warehouse getting a bike and will be back. He talked about what my final numbers looked like and how it was exactly what I wanted. All sounded perfect and I walked away waiting for them to bring my bike. Finally, when I saw my sales guy, he waved for me to come outside. I went out there and I saw a bike sitting there, same year, same look but something was so off. My sales guy stood there silent. I knew this wasn't the bike I wanted, it had crash bars on it dents and scratches. So, I looked over at him and said, "What is it that I am looking at exactly this isn't my bike". He stumbled with his words and told me that that bike was a better bike then what I was looking at and it would be a better purchase. At that point I was done. It was after 6:30pm and there was no way I was going to give them a sale. I still can't wrap my brain around why they WOULD NOT sale the bike I wanted. Credit is over the top, I had a big down payment. The only thing I can think of is that they used that bike to lure people into the dealership only to sale them something they didn't want in the first place. HUGE lesson for me. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone I know. 1 day later I dealt with Laidlaw's Harley Davidson and I was in and out of the dealership with a brand new bike in less than an hour. The staff there was amazing! Do not go to Riverside Harley. Go else where. read more

Was looking for a pre-owned 1200 all over socal. Looked at HB, Orange County, Laidlaw. All of them nice dealerships, but used 1200s are hard to come by right now I guess. But I found a used 2021 iron 1200 with 800 miles for $9500 pop up in Riverside. I called them up, spoke to Mary she quickly sent me some photos (thanks Mary!). I got there the next day and the bike was still there. Jared was the man! He was super helpful, talked me through the bike and even delivered it personally that night. Great experience overall and now I own the unicorn "Managers Special" that everyone says is a "bait and switch". You just gotta be fast :) Thanks again to Jared for all the help! I didn't even know he was working there yet but it was so nice to see him and I introduced him to my fiancé. She had a thought of wanting to trade in her bike, and he was kind enough to show us their wide selection of rides. He wasn't pushy at all, and heard her out with every question she had. I just completed the Harley Davidson Riding Academy New Rider Course hosted by Riverside Harley Davidson. The lead instructor and coordinator was Jim Bridges, retired 26-years active duty Senior Chief in the US Navy. The co-instructors were Dan Parks (former law enforcement) and Brian Habegger (current law enforcement). First off I want to say "thank you" to these men for their service to our country and community. Secondly, I found them to be extremely knowledgeable with a tremendous amount of experience. They were very patient teaching new riders. They kept the experience non-stressful. I always felt engage even during the boring academic test preparation portion. I saw my riding skills and confidence increase throughout the course as a result. The instructors made this course a success for me. I had been looking for a motorcycle for several months and had my mind made up on a preowned indian that riverside harley had in stock. After talking with Bryan I had agreed to come back at a later time because the bike was off the lot before i could make it there. A month later I was back about an 883 preowned Harley and after speaking with Victor right before they closed decided to come back the next day. I was helped by Bryan again who was more than helpful and gave me the run down on the difference in services and deals that had if I decided to get a brand new 883 instead of the preowned. I will NOT purchase my bike here, due to the lack of professionalism and respect from the associated sales manager. I came in to get a ball park idea of what I needed (finically) to come back and leave with a bike. As a first time buyer with minimum information on these beauties, I obviously needed help. When I had two associates assisting me I thought for sure I was going to have what I needed. When I got what I needed to go home and get my ducks in the role so I can come back and get my dream bike, the sales manager seemed very upset I didn't leave with the bike right there and then. He turned his customer service upside down. He made me and my wife feel completely uncomfortable and to top this off he was mentioning how we weren't smart and this and that in front of my son. I'm not saying don't shop here but don't waste your time with a sales manager who seems pressured to make a sale by his management team or corporate. I went into the store looking for a helmet that I was going to order it from Harley Davidson of Las Vegas because they have a contract the Air Force Army Exchange Store which you can access through the Aafes. After two days, I feel very comfortable on a bike and I am probably going to buy one soon. Brian and Paul were super helpful and very knowledgeable. Not only do I know how to ride a motorcycle, I also understand safety information and emergency preparedness. This class offers a lot of bang for your buck -- you get the M1 recommendation at the end (which lets you waive the riding test at the DMV), you can come back and retake the course as a refresher anytime, and you get a 15% discount on Harley gear. Worst Customer Service Ever! This review is specific to Chris S, assistant sales manager only. My husband went there to buy his bike, he already know what he wanted, so he saw the bike and was ready to get quote. So we were waiting, then this a**hole (Chris S) came to us. First off, my husband is a veteran and they have a copy of his ID and has excellent credit score. He started asking - For a copy of my husband SS ID, he said the the bank needs a copy. (Its the FIRST TIME THE SOMEBODY ASKED US for the actual copy of SS ID) and that they can't run the numbers if they don't see the copy of actual ID - If my husband is a resident or working visa (so judgemental! why TF are you asking? You know he was in the military the first place) - If my husband bought a car priced more than 20k before (he can check his credit history that he/we have a house and 60grand car and this will be like our 5th big purchase) - Then my husband finally found a picture of his social ID and showed it to him but still won't give him a detailed quote/numbers. My husband was asking for interest rate and he couldn't tell him and saying that they can't run it. We were not lowballing we just wanted to see the number/options and we were being nice the whole time! And then suddenly he told him that the bike my husband chose was already sold to someone else WHILE WE ARE TRYING TO GET THE DEAL!!! And that was like 730pm and looks like were the only customer left there. BULLSHIT!!! We left with nothing because clearly he did not want to sell us anything!! You totally judged, discriminated and humiliated my husband! Why? Because he's wearing his work uniform that did not meet your standards who can afford a Harley? My review is going to be two part - my buying experience, and my riders academy experience. Let me start by saying I have never owned my own motorcycle. My Mr. has an Ultra Classic, and I have always wanted a motorcycle, but I didn't know how to ride. I had to get a bike that fit me (I'm 5' tall), wasn't too heavy to maneuver, and I could learn on to build my confidence on getting what I really want (a road king). Knowing this, Seth helped me choose the Iron 883. Seth is really knowledgeable, patient and just super helpful. The part that frustrated me a bit was when we went to finance. My credit score is tier 1, and I have the income to qualify, but because we already have one motorcycle financed through Harley, they wanted me to have a Co-signer. When I refused to get a Co-signer, the first bank they tried of course approved me. Ana in finance was able to get on the phone and have our APR cut in half saving us a ton of money. Now that I had a bike, I needed to learn how to ride that guy. Harley threw in the Riding class (along with a bunch of other things that were negotiated in the deal) and I went to talk to Jim about scheduling a class. Can you believe he was able to get us in that night???!!!! The class is 3 days long. Running Tuesday evening from 6:30-9 (set in the classroom), Wednesday and Thursday 7am-12 (range) 1-4 (classroom). My Mr. who has been riding for over 15 years also enrolled (more as support for me). Brian and John were our instructors. Now remember, I didn't know how to ride. There were a few folks in our class that never rode, and also a few that have been on dirt bikes and motorcycles all of their lives. The age range in our class was 16 to 55+. Brian and John were both so great. They were clear in their instructions and demonstrations, and had the patience to match. I dropped my bike in total 3x (only while at a standstill) but as my confidence built, the more and more comfortable I got. Both John and Brian were supportive and frankly, I couldn't wait for the "Good Job" after the exercise. My Mr. also enjoyed the class and learned something new. The 10 students that were in my class each passed the skills test, and the written test that is given. A 100% success rate is partially due to the student but mostly reflect how good the instructors are. EVERYONE should take this class!!! I really liked that the bikes were provided for us - that way if you do drop, it's their bike and not yours; and the fact that we were able to do the skills portion of the test here on the bikes we've been practicing on vs at the DMV. I also enjoyed Brian and John's sincerity in really wanting the riders to learn. I bought my bike Tuesday, learned how to safely ride my bike weds & thurs, and will have my license on Friday after I hit DMV up to take my written test. CANT BEAT THAT!!! Since Harley has a cool program where you can trade in your bike within a year and get the full value you paid into it, I will be taking advantage of that when I've spent some time on my 883. ROAD KING in 2019 is what it's gonna be lol Thank you Jim for squeezing us in last minute, and for encouraging both my Mr and I - who have two totally different skill levels - to take this class. And Thank you Brian and John for all the knowledge you shared! Btw - I totally got the "Best Improved" award that I will frame and will be hanging in our Harley Garage! read more

Worst experience of my life. Talked to John over the phone and put in for my financing online He said " your good to go " This was a big question I had due to the 3 hr drive to their location. I was looking at a 2014 Road Glide. My friend was also looking at a bike also. John told him "I will have the bike ready and waiting for you to take a test drive when you come down." Upon arriving to Riverside Harley after a 3 hour drive we found that NOTHING in the store was priced. ONLY new bikes NO used bikes were priced. The bikes we were supposed to look at were not there. We could not tell which bikes we were supposed to look at due to the fact that all the bikes were mixed together with no pricing. So our salesperson, Steve, took us over to the warehouse. The warehouse has 10 to 15 bikes in various disrepair, such as the first thing we were greeted with, a Road King with a towel sticking out the bottom of it and a puddle of oil the size of an apple pie. We found my friend's bike( with the preview certified sticker on it) only to find that the battery was dead and it was dirty. This should've clued us in on what we had gotten ourselves unprepared, lying dealership who will do anything to get their customers to come down and buy something. After 30 minutes of waiting they were finally able to get the bike started with the pre-certified sticker on it and it had a knock? How does it have a knock if it's pre-certified I said to myself. Then we went on to the bike that I was interested in I kept inquiring about the price and they would dodge the question, I can't get a hold of this person or that So I can't give you a price they said. Finally they came over and told me to fill out some additional paperwork for financing when they came back with the price of the bike and the ridiculous finance offer that they were offering me. I'm taking to consideration that the bike I was interested in also had the certified card on it When I touched the stop light where the plate was located, it was ready to fall off, there were scratches on the bag, which the salesman licked his finger and said this will rub out it's just a contact mark. I knew the depth of the contact mark. I knew that it was not going to buff out. In the sun, I was able to see more things: the tired look at the bike, the badges missing the cracks in the saddlebags, the areas where you can tell that the bike had been tipped over on both sides. I asked them do you know the condition of the bike? Have you looked at the cosmetics of the bike? Is there any wiggle room in the price? They were asking $17999 for a tired used 2014. They came back with yes we can take $1000 off making the bike $16,999 to my dismay. As I continued on with the sale trying to get a better price, they came back with an increased down and monthly, after being pre-qualified before I left home I told them this is not what John and I had discussed over the phone. I was very specific on the price I wanted, the down payment I wanted and the monthly payment I wanted. They told me John had nothing to do with it His only job was to get people in and that they would talk to him about doing things like this but nevertheless it was what it was. Riverside Harley Davidson's salesman, phone recruiter and the financing department are terrible to deal with. I came down there with two other people: my friend and I planned on driving two Harley's home and a 3rd driver to bring the car the 3.5 hours home, we decided to leave. The salesman was not very helpful, he wouldn't tell my friend when the bike's knock would be looked at by service. He did not ask him if he wanted to call after it was looked at. ( by the way the bike is still advertise for sale on their site). He did not even give me the price of the bike that I was looking at. Honestly I don't even know if that's the bike I was looking at. He never bothered to look any deeper as I asked him specifically for the bike that I had saw online. Even or 3rd driver was trying to buy a pair of gloves and he could not find a price on those. So we left. I thought Harley Davidson dealerships have to be the worst places on earth to shop for anything. And who knows maybe it was just the color of our skin yes I will throw that out there. But I must say THANK YOU Riverside Harley Davidson for your TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, AWFUL SERVICE that helped us choose Antelope Valley Harley Davidson and my perfect bike purchase with the down, monthly and total cost that you said I couldn't get. Man let me tell you!! First of all my credit is not the greatest! These guys at Riverside Harley do everything in their power to get you on a bike. Michael was the sales guy that helped me and he was absolutely the right guy to go to he went above and beyond to sale me my beautiful new 2021 Street Bob. I used to be a fan of this location and when Chuck was there I knew I would be taken care of. The problem is they will sell you a warranty and service agreement, won't explain it and blame you for not reading the fine print. I wasted thousands of dollars for service and warranties I didn't need nor did I use. I tried to work something out and they refused to help me. I have now decided to go from Riverside to Temecula for service and parts. I am no longer a fan of this business who would rather nickel and dime you out of your hard earned money just to make a profit. They also act like they are the Gods of Service by the price they charge compared to other dealerships. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! read more
