The manager specials on their website looked too good to be true, and they were. I reached out to the sales team about two bikes listed on special. One of the salespeople kept contacting me and repeatedly said, "My system shows the bikes are available." Even after I asked them to verify whether the bikes were actually on the lot, the only answer I got was basically, "Well, the system says they are." I also asked for the out the door price with all taxes, fees, and dealer charges included, and they would not give me a straight answer on that either. Instead continuing to ask me to come in. So I went to the dealership, and sure enough, neither of the two bikes listed on special were there. It has now been about two weeks, and both bikes are still listed on their website. At this point, it feels like those listings are being used to get people into the dealership so they can try to sell them something else once you're already there. Really disappointing experience. I tried to confirm availability and pricing before making the trip, but got nowhere. If you don't live around the corner, I'd be very cautious before spending your time going in. read more

Never buy, nor get your Bike services at this place! I took it 3 weeks ago for a simple hose repair replacement to get done all while I never got a call back to get an update. I had to call all mail every day for the last two weeks only to be placed on hold for longer than 10-20mins; nobody ever came back. I also called the front desk and left 3 messages for a manager or in/charge to call me back; nobody ever did. I sent two messages via the website, never got a call back. I actually had another Harley service manager call for me as a courtesy and he got the same treatment - nobody either answered and did jot get a call back. October 2025 I took the Bike for 5k service, on a Sunday, was told it would be done by 2pm, I had to wait there till 6pm closing to get it and the promised wash detail was not done. In November 2025 I got a call from a "customer experience manager", and he has not responded and is no longer in that role at the store. I paid $35k and spend thousands since on accessories, just looking for a little courtesy or customer service. My wife is actually more angry than I am - she wants to ride with her new touring pack. Now I look like a chump, while all I get from EVERY employee at that store is: aloofness, apathy, horrible customer service and bottom line lack of taking accountability responsibility. If I could, I would sell the Bike - the brand is tainted by dealerships like this one. Shame on you Riverside Harley-Davidson... read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel other buyers should know what to expect. I drove nearly two hours to Riverside Harley-Davidson after seeing a Low Rider ST advertised online for under $16k. Before making the trip, I called multiple times and specifically confirmed with a salesperson named James that the bike was physically at the dealership and available. He even explained that although the bike also appeared on the Huntington Beach store website, Riverside supposedly had possession of it. When I arrived, James was nowhere to be found and I was handed off to another salesperson. Almost immediately, things started feeling strange. They walked me around the dealership trying to "find" the bike before eventually admitting they didn't think they had it anymore. Instead, I was shown a completely different Low Rider ST that was in rough condition -- wires hanging out, wouldn't roll properly, and stuck in gear. From there, the conversation quickly turned into pressure to buy a brand-new bike instead. I also asked about several other used motorcycles listed online, and they couldn't seem to locate those either. The repeated line was "these bikes are so hot, we can't keep them in stock." They eventually ran numbers on a new bike priced around $25k and came back with an out-the-door price over $32k, not including additional warranty products and accessories. To make matters worse, my trade-in value somehow dropped from an initial verbal estimate of $10,000 down to $6,000 once paperwork started. What bothered me most wasn't just the pricing -- it was the complete lack of honesty and accountability. Nobody apologized for wasting my entire day or acknowledged that the advertised bike appeared to be bait to get customers into the showroom. Instead, they kept trying to stall, keep me seated, and wear me down into making a deal on something else. As I tried to leave multiple times, the sales staff kept chasing me back into the dealership saying management wanted to "work something out," but nothing meaningful ever changed. Buyers should be very cautious here, especially if you are driving from far away for a specific motorcycle. Verify inventory carefully and don't be afraid to walk away. read more

Extremely disappointing experience at Riverside Harley-Davidson after being a loyal customer for nearly 15 years. I rode out there on Friday specifically because of motorcycles advertised on their website at what appeared to be excellent prices. Once I arrived, I was told the bikes were either unavailable or "already gone." Conveniently, the sales staff immediately began pushing me toward much more expensive brand-new motorcycles instead. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic designed simply to get customers through the door. What made the experience even more insulting was the financing. I have an excellent credit score that is nearly maxed out, yet the only offers presented were outrageously high interest rates in the low teens along with 96-month payment plans. Stretching people into eight years of payments on a motorcycle is absurd. There were also supposedly no worthwhile promotions or Memorial Day specials available, which was shocking considering the timing and the current motorcycle market. The entire process felt dishonest, disorganized, and heavily focused on squeezing every possible dollar out of the customer rather than building long-term relationships. The sales staff and finance department did not seem knowledgeable or transparent, and after spending years supporting this dealership, I left feeling completely disrespected. Ironically, years ago this dealership was involved in a class action lawsuit where customers received settlement checks while attorneys walked away with the real money. Looking back now, it honestly feels like nothing has changed. To anyone considering making the trip to Riverside Harley-Davidson: CALL FIRST and make them physically verify the motorcycle is actually there before wasting your time riding out. Do not rely on the website inventory alone. It is unfortunate to walk away after 15 years, but this dealership has clearly gone downhill and earned the reputation it is creating for itself. read more

My bike is back in the Riverside Harley Davidson, shop, they are supposed to fix what they didn't fix (They left a bolt loose on my motor) the first time. And they need to fix my lights that they broke as well. Now it's been three months and counting. One thing I've learned about dealing with Riverside Harley Davidson, is patient. You have to have a lot of patience because they take a long time to fix your problem. Now they're good at service, they have you in and out the same day if possible . I just hope nobody else have to go through what I'm going through with my bike. I miss the riding season all of last year and it looks like I will miss it this year too. read more

I stopped by Harley-Davidson of Riverside this morning for a scheduled noon appointment to purchase a Low Rider S that was advertised on their website. I want to start by saying the customer service was great--staff assisted me right away, and everyone was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the main reason for my visit didn't work out. The motorcycle I came in to purchase could not be located, and I was told it was likely already sold. I really wish I had been notified beforehand, especially since I drove about an hour to get there. I also had three backup motorcycles in mind that were listed as available on their website, but none of those were actually in stock either. That was frustrating and made the trip feel like a waste of time. Because of the lack of accurate inventory updates and communication, I'm subtracting one star. If I were to return in the future, I would need confirmation in writing that the motorcycle I'm coming to see is physically available before making the drive again. read more

I attended the Harley-Davidson riding class, and I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in motorcycles, not just learning how to ride, but also safety, laws, and everything else that comes with riding. If it has to do with motorcycles, you'll know it by the end of the class. It was a great experience. When they say you don't need any prior experience, believe them, you truly don't. As long as you know how to ride a bicycle, they help you step by step with everything. Dan and Carl were my coaches, shoutout to Dan and Carl as well. I hope yall see this! Took the Motorcycle Safety Course and i highly recommend it! Jay and Anthony were great instructors! They had a sense of humor and made the class enjoyable. They were able to make an educational environment feel like you were taking a class with friends, despite not knowing the others also attending. They made sure to answer any questions without making you feel stupid and provided a lot of helpful tips and reinforcement. I'm usually a very introverted and anxious person in group settings, but I felt completely comfortable in the environment. Brian was also great! He made sure to check in and provide helpful insight and tips! I'm short (4'11) and nervous about fitting safely on the bikes. Brian made sure that there was a bike I could fit on. Jay and Anthony helped me adjust the levers to my comfort! Honestly, this is such a well-rounded team! If you're unsure as to whether you want to take it, dooo ittt! I drove about an hour each way after confirming an appointment with Russ in internet sales after I inquired online about a motorcycle and a phone call as well that evening by him. When I arrived, the bike I came to see wasn't even there. Was told 3 different excuses why, none of them made sense. Instead of addressing that, the focus immediately shifted to trying to sell me a brand-new bike. That's not why I made the appointment or drove all that distance. Very frustrating experience and a complete waste of time. If the inventory isn't actually available, customers should be told before they make the drive. Basic communication and respect for people's time goes a long way, especially a person that is ready to buy the motorcycle right then and there.  Lied to me as well saying he would be there, but was off that day. I chose them for their reputation and I support every year the Veteran memorial ride for I'm a veteran, this is such a bad experience of let down, I will find a different ride that supports and honor our vets. read more

Went to get a lowrider st that they advertised for $17k there was one person ahead of me trying to purchase it. I waited and over heard their salesman try to sell the bike to the guy for $23k beyond mark up for no reason. But on their dealer page it's listed for $17. Don't have them run your credit if they won't bonnet advertisement listed. read more

If you are looking to purchase a Harley Motorcycle. AVOID this Harley Davidson dealership! They have crazy dealer mark ups and they avoid giving you an Out The Door (OTD) price even after asking them a few times. They just rush to run your credit and rope you into a "low payments" deal all while still not negotiating and agreeing on an OTD price. This technique is used to hide their markup and dealer fees not including Tax and Registration. Save yourself the time and money by going to a different HD dealership. read more

Asked about a metric bike over the phone and they did not tell me that they dont do metric trade ins for other metrics.....i went back the 2nd day and tried to finance the bike and they failed to tell me that they dont finance either and only accept full, they also criticized my decision on buying a metric and tried to get me to buy a Harley instead....on top pf that they added a markup to a $6000 used metric that made it to $10000 just because i wouldnt buy a harley.....greedy stealership... read more

I guess riverside HD has become too big for their own good, service has went out the window. Sad to say that I bought my bike there, and they are my local dealer but at-least Quaid, Laidlaw and San Diego get the information you need. Horrible experience trying to buy from these guys. First, they had bikes listed on their website and when I called to make sure it's available they told me "yes it's here, when can you come in". I show up, and they don't have the bike but then try to sell you other bikes. (The bike is still listed on their website a month later). Then, I come back the following week to work a deal on another used bike and asked me to submit a credit app, so I did. The credit app also was an app for a credit card which I asked the sales guy about and he said "no it's not for a credit card, that is just part of the application." (I ended up getting a letter in the mail saying I had applied for a Harley Davidson credit card through BOA.) They go back and fourth with me on pricing for another bike and tell me the longest term is 36 months with 30% down, then try to sell you a new bike with a longer term to make the payment look better and persuade you to buy a new bike. I called another dealer and they had my credit info and said it showed I was approved for 60 months at 10% down and I was lied to by Riverside Harley. I walked out of the deal as we couldn't get on the same page. I returned 3 days later to accept the deal they had tried to offer me, and they said it would be 2500 more now since it's not the end of the month anymore. But honestly, once I found 'RayRay' - he is truly the only advisor I will communicate with. Honesty and integrity is all I get from this guy. He is really the only reason I transport my HD CVO from south OC to Riverside. Bravo on his professionalism and follow-through. This review for service is an absolute '5'. 2nd) Accessories (clothing). I was at OC HD yesterday, and to my surprise they were carrying Dixxon flannel shirts. I have close to 80 Dixxons in my closet. I almost bought 2 at OC HD because of the price. $49.95 each. This morning, Riverside HD had the 'same' exact Dixxons on their show floor for $72.95 each. That's a $23 mark-up. I will not purchase any accessories from Riverside HD - EVER. This review is rated as a '1'. So overall, a '3' Yelp review. read more
