I just want everyone to know from the first day I walked into this Dealership Josh Dela Cruz in Sales was and continues to be very helpful. When I walked into this Dealership, I had never owned a Harley. Josh was very patience and was knowledgeable about what would fit me as a new Harley owner. I went into Laidlaws Dealership to look as well but found myself leaning more towards Riverside Harley (Skips at the time) The girl who helped me was cute but didn't seem to have as much knowledge about what would fit me as a new Harley owner. She was focused more on making a sale than educating me on a bike that would be suitable for me. At this point, I walked away from Laidlaws Dealership and I went back to Josh Dela Cruz for more education. However, this was the turning point for the purchase of my first Harley Davidson bike, the 2013 Road King. During the purchase of my 2013 Road King I was introduced to Jim Mangone, Director of the Riders Edge Course. Going over details, Jim educated me of the benefits of the Riders Edge Course. At this time, I chose to sign up for all the benefits (ie..rider knowledge, road safety, bike handling and insurance breaks). Dave King and Paul Freidt were my instructors who created a safe environment in the classroom and out on the range. I would recommend this course t both new riders and experienced riders. I took My Road King in for it's 5,000 mile maintenance service and at this time met with Stefan Villanueva in Service and Rentals. During the service Stefan suggested that I try the 2014 Street Glide as a Rental for the weekend. However, I was hesitant to try a bike that was unfamiliar to me but again Stefan ensured me that I would be comfortable on this bike. Again, I find Stefan to be patient and knowledgeable about what my next step up should be since my service contract entitles me to free rentals. After riding the 2014 Street Glide for one (1) day I called Josh Dela Cruz and asked him to make me a deal on a 2014 Street Glide. Within an hour of my request, Josh was on the phone making me a deal. In January 2014, I purchased the 2014 Street Glide Special Edition. I have had this bike now for 7 months and love it. Both Stefan Villanueva and Josh Dela Cruz will check in with me and when I walk into the Dealership they make me feel at home and I know I can go to them for any of my concerns or needs. During both bike purchases, Rory Swan has accommodated several of my requests. If I have any questions, he has always been able to answer and point me in the direction I need. Rory has had a big part of both of my purchases and is the man behind the scenes. I wanted upgrade the pipes for my 2014 Street Glide but was not sure where to start since this was my first experience with this. I wanted an old muscle car sound on the bike and was able to explain it to service ( I believe his name to be Anthony G but I am not 100% sure). Service recommended the CFR's as well as the Stage 1 upgrade and new Air Filter kit. I then went over to parts and sat down with Jeff Williams (AKA Wizard) who began a Pick Ticket for my upgrades. Just as all of the other staff members I encountered, Jeff was a very patient and knowledgeable individual. He did not direct me to something that I did not need or ask for, he sat down and educated me on every part that I would need for the first upgrade I was purchasing. The CFR's were on back order however, when I returned to service for the installation of the CFR's, Nick Stofle and Rob Mayers stepped up and took care of the final stages of the upgrades. I decided to wait for the service to be completed and at this time walked over to the Motorclothes section of the store. While previously out on a ride I stopped by Laidlaw's Dealership to look for a pair of riding gloves. I found a pair of gloves but decided to wait and purchase them at Riverside Harley on my next visit. As I walked over to Motorclothes, Alex Hamilton immediately greeted me and asked if I had any questions. I told her that I was looking for a new pair of riding gloves and I had an idea of what I wanted to purchase. She directed me over to the gloves and proceeded to show me the gloves they had available. The gloves that I chose were out of stock, however, Alex placed an order specifically for my needs. After placing the order with Alex, I walked over to parts and spoke to Nick Stofle about upgrading the speaker system. He created a pick ticket for future purchase. It was a must that I remove a previously written review, due to what I now interpret as being duped into feeling I was to give a positive review for a good cause. I was led to believe by the financial department the best course of action at that time was to purchase Extended Warranty. Now I am told unless I had a "written statement " by a certain individual (let's call them "B") the contract that was purchased and being paid for had no validity (6 months no motorcycle (dismantled), minus $2,562 in non-refundable payments) Extended Warranty was purchased, a concern arose and bike was towed, 2 months later it is brought to attention that a discrepancy within documentation was present, Individual "B" who sold warranty transferred to another HD location (Florida). Coincidentally on my way to work, I happen to run into this individual at the Airport, explaining the news about the documents these exact words had been spoken, "it happens all the time, it can be fixed and you shouldn't worried to much about it.." Furthermore another month goes by, patiently waiting to receive communication (to no avail), it was decided that as inconvenient/risky as it might be drive from Ontario CA to RSHD dealership, in a vehicle with expired tags (motorcycle was main form of transportation), opposed to continuing to wait, in person most the time gives better results. In meeting with a new individual (let's call them "S") in the financial department, all was explained (driving of an unregistered vehicle, encounter with "B" etc.), notes were taken and an email was "sent" to upper management along with the words "someone will contact you soon..". 1 more month goes by and it is again decided, this time with a registered vehicle, that I head on over to dealership. Speak with "S" again explaining that a phone call has yet to be received and that "I am here to get an update". Update, " letter has been sent to Corporate explaining discrepancy, however some type of proof is needed, I called "B" asking why he said it was an easy thing to do..", " since corporate may take a while your best bet might be to do a trade-in, and you just get a brand new bike.." (ok, sounds logical, rather have my bike though). Fast forward, denied (promises made by sales team that were not achievable). Leave disappointed yet in good spirits that current issues with bike will be resolved in due time, boy was I wrong. Conclusion, doesn't matter if a customer is in "good standing" (payment wise, never late), assumed that HD would "look out" for its members (seems that because I am not associated with the frequent well known MC's that get special treatment there, I am not considered HD family). Riverside Harley Davidson has both made me a dissatisfied customer (not only with this contract but concerns from when I first purchased the bike) to most importantly never ever wanting to purchase another Harley Davidson in my life or recommend this brand to friends, family. To the "Yelper" I recommend that you never step foot in this establishment, there are a select few that work there that are exceptional humans (you know who you are). read more

Earlier this summer, I was visiting my parents in Corona, and while I was driving down the 91 freeway from Los Angeles, something fell off and hit my leg, and it did not take me long to realize my sensor security tag, officially called a FOB, is the object that is now gone off of my keychain from the ignition of my bike. After doubling back on the other side of the freeway, and I re-entered the freeway again trying to look for it, knowing good and well I probably was not going to find it on the freeway in traffic while I'm riding my bike, I still tried anyway. I continued on to Corona to my parents house, knowing I cannot stop my bike and cut it off otherwise I would not be able to start it back up again. If you don't know about FOBs, you cannot start your bike if it is not within a certain amount of feet, so now I am pretty much stuck in Corona. It was Father's Day, so we leave my mom at home, and my dad and I spend the day with the tow truck picking up my bike, riding to Riverside Harley, and ordering a new FOB. Of course, he said, anything to spend time with his girl. I love My Dad!!!! Although I asked for a price over the phone, to come in and get this taken care of, the response was, "oh don't worry, we will take care of you." Now, I knew that did not mean free but I figured it would be reasonable so I did not press the issue. So once we get there and we order the part, and the service for resetting the security, he comes back to me with a price that was more than what I expected and more than what I had on me. I do know that owning a Harley means money, especially when it comes to parts and service ...granted, but I still love my Harley. However, that does not mean my pockets can always accommodate needed funds, and not particularly on this day. Needless to say after the service writer listened to my response regarding me being with limited funds and not close to home, he went in the back to confer, I suppose, and he came back with a reasonable price I could afford. It was not cheap, mind you, but I was able to cover it. The service writer, Rob Myers, was very helpful, patient and sensitive to my dilemma. He even took the time to show me how to bypass the security with my code if this should ever happen again in a situation where I was unable to get to the dealership. This was the first time this had ever happened to me with the security tag, (FOB) so I was glad to receive this helpful information. Even if they were not able to adjust my service needs, I would have still been pleased with my customer service, and would recommend and visit again myself as well. It just would have put a damper on the rest of my Father's Day with my dad, would have had to tow it all the way to the LA Dealership the next day, just to get my card from home, and been late to work, yada, yada, yada..so forth and so on, ..it just would have been a big headache and inconvenience. So thank you ROB MYERS for your wonderful service, and thank you RIVERSIDE HARLEY for being a great experience for me that day. read more

Ryan Raven, in customer relations at this dealership truly gave me hope. I've had significant issues at this dealership, and I'm not gonna really go into detail about it, but I was at a point where even if I had to spend more money, I was gonna take my bike elsewhere to be worked on and I was never gonna buy a bike here again. However, with my experience this last time, I decided to contact customer relations because my issues weren't being addressed. I would send my bike down to the dealership to have some work done and then they would send the bike back claiming it's done and it's not done this has happened a few times. That's why I got Ryan Raven involved and I felt like a total tool for having to work with somebody higher up at the dealership, but this guy gave me daily updates on everything he test drove my motorcycle made sure all the work was done he sent me pictures of everything gave me answers. Asked me questions. It was just a such a wonderful experience. Because of Ryan Raven I would absolutely refer people to this dealership and I'm sure he's a busy man, but make sure if you have any issues you make sure he's the one who's looking after you and overlooking all the work. Thank you again, Ryan. You have certainly earned a customer again and I'm very proud to say I bought my bike at Riverside Harley-Davidson. It's hard to put into words how much this meant to me. Let me make one thing very clear with the people at the dealership I've had only good encounters and they have been so kind and friendly, especially people like Raymond a.k.a. smiley and DMC. I just think I've had really bad luck with this place but again what Ryan Raven did for me is beyond. Anything I ever expected anybody would do for just a random customer. You are the best, my friend please keep up the good work. I'm not using hyperbole when I say is people like you who are going to help this dealership to maintain good standing I am a customer for life all because of Ryan Also, one more person I'd like to say thank you too. Gauge or Gage a gentleman who picks up my bike for services is just the nicest kindest most friendly person ever and he's really really good at what he does. He picks up Harley's every day and takes them down to the dealership for services and then returns them to the customer and he has the most positive attitude and absolutely makes me feel super good. He's a huge asset to the dealership just as Ryan Raven is. You guys take care and thanks again for looking out for me Ryan again it's because of you that I will be buying another bike from that dealership. I just don't want anybody who's reading this to be overly concerned with the issues I had. They all eventually got addressed and that's the important thing And no dealership is perfect. Good morning, I would like to express my experience at your Riverside dealership. I called 3 days ago and spoke to staff about purchasing a CVO 2021 but would  like a test ride before the purchase after my credit profile clears 50-70k in 8 days. Her answer was  (Yes no problem) I expressed that I had to re-apply  for my M1-license because it expired due to COVID 19. DMV was closed. And when open, it was hard to get appts. And my work schedule caused conflict. But I now have it renewed. Her answer was (No problem) After visiting DMV and getting my previous M1 "Re- Instated" with no riding test because of my 10-15 year riding experience, I then drove to dealership. When I arrived I was approached by a Sales Associate who walked me over to the CVO of MY choice. After a 10 minute conversation regarding what bikes I have owned/ Ridden( soft tail, road king, Dana,etc.) I was walked outside to meet Richard Estrada and was told by (Estrada) that I needed to ride the Sportster of their choice because he "heard" and expressed the following. 1.I hear you just received your license. 2. none of my high-end clientele from Hollywood want to buy a CVO with 7 miles on it already! So no test driving is permitted. 3.Even if you sign an insurance waiver,  if you drop it, you buy it. 4. that no one test a cvo but simply walks in and writes a check!!!!! Now, my questions/comments  to him were: 1)How can I test ride a sportster of YOUR choice and make a sound decision on a CVO of MY choice? 2) Why would your staff offer and say yes to a test ride on a cvo but really mean no! This was a complete waste of my very valuable time!!! 3) Why wouldn't you at least offer a 103-107-114 Street glide or something comparable? 4) Is this false or deceptive advertising "misleading" Estrada responded by: 1) Again!  why dont you just buy (Note: he said this to me while chewing gum- very unprofessional for a guy that has customers from Hollywood that just walks in and write a check for your product)!! 2) what are your reasons 3) you are not answering my questions. In my professional opinion, he needs to be retrained, micro managed and held accountable for his action/attitude and behavior. Mr. Veracka, please send Estrada to your Huntington Beach location. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel other buyers should know what to expect. I drove nearly two hours to Riverside Harley-Davidson after seeing a Low Rider ST advertised online for under $16k. Before making the trip, I called multiple times and specifically confirmed with a salesperson named James that the bike was physically at the dealership and available. He even explained that although the bike also appeared on the Huntington Beach store website, Riverside supposedly had possession of it. When I arrived, James was nowhere to be found and I was handed off to another salesperson. Almost immediately, things started feeling strange. They walked me around the dealership trying to "find" the bike before eventually admitting they didn't think they had it anymore. Instead, I was shown a completely different Low Rider ST that was in rough condition -- wires hanging out, wouldn't roll properly, and stuck in gear. From there, the conversation quickly turned into pressure to buy a brand-new bike instead. I also asked about several other used motorcycles listed online, and they couldn't seem to locate those either. The repeated line was "these bikes are so hot, we can't keep them in stock." They eventually ran numbers on a new bike priced around $25k and came back with an out-the-door price over $32k, not including additional warranty products and accessories. To make matters worse, my trade-in value somehow dropped from an initial verbal estimate of $10,000 down to $6,000 once paperwork started. What bothered me most wasn't just the pricing -- it was the complete lack of honesty and accountability. Nobody apologized for wasting my entire day or acknowledged that the advertised bike appeared to be bait to get customers into the showroom. Instead, they kept trying to stall, keep me seated, and wear me down into making a deal on something else. As I tried to leave multiple times, the sales staff kept chasing me back into the dealership saying management wanted to "work something out," but nothing meaningful ever changed. Buyers should be very cautious here, especially if you are driving from far away for a specific motorcycle. Verify inventory carefully and don't be afraid to walk away. read more

I just wanted to post about Harley Davidson of Riverside. I bought by bike there in October of 2014 and I could not be happier. The service, riding academy, purchasing options and experience were all excellent. I was a new rider and I went in thinking I wanted a new 2015 Street 750. After talking with the staff, and riding in the academy the 500 I knew I wanted a bigger bike. I ended up with a 1200 Sportster Custom and I could not be happier. The best part of the experience was I was a new rider, not really knowing what I wanted and speaking with multiple sales people asking I'm sure a ton of newbie questions I was never treated like an idiot or not worth their time. They were patient with me and explained everything I needed to know to make the right decision based on my budget. I'm 46 and over the last few years I have had been diagnosed with Essential Tremors and Degenerative Disc Disease in my lower back. Long story short the amount of pain and depression I was going though was substantial. After the riding academy training I spent the next 4 months riding every weekend to gain knowledge and confidence, following the training I got at the academy. I now ride 4-5 days a week to work (Murrieta to Del Mar) and I'm thankful every single day. The HD advertisements talk about freedom and I get it now. Riding every single day helps me feel better with depression. The wind, the sun, the freedom of getting out of the car and experiencing the road in a whole new light. I see things differently and my 'dreaded' commute is no longer the chore I hate, but something I look forward to every day because I get to ride. Pretty much every day is ride day. Ride day is better than any drug. It makes me feel alive again. It helps me stay focus without all the distractions of a car (cell phone, depressing news on the radio etc.) and it is just calming. This is all because of the very positive experience I had and continue to have at HD Riverside and I will buy my next bike there when that day comes. read more

I have had nothing but a positive experience. I recently got my first Harley Davidson with little to no street experience. I knew better not to try anything until I felt confident and knew everything about it and what was needed to know about it. I'm not a big gambler, nor was I about too try my luck on my bike. So I scheduled a appointment with Riverside Harley Davidson for their riders course the following week. Funny thing is I didn't have a clue how I was going to get out there and it was a hour and forty something minute drive from where I am located. I've asked around and all my friends and acquaintances were busy or didn't care. So I had to use "Lyft" for two days while running late for the first nights. I called in advance and notified them. The instructors there were really professional and extremely friendly with me about situation. How they demonstrated themselves set the tone for the next two days. The group I was with was a fun bunch all varying with experiences. We started with just how to properly mount to quickly braking on the spot and swerving in and out of cones. Just those two day built my confidence stupendous and I was confident with myself, my ability to ride and mostly the training I received. I want to say thanks to the instructions out at Riverside Harley Davidson and the employees as well. They treaded me like family before and after my three days there for the BRC. Thank you Brian, Dave and Jim for the positive and enjoyable time there. I definitely will spread the word of my time there and will refer anyone interested in riding there and tell them they will build you up. I already did today to a guy. I will definitely come back for advanced classes and keeping hitting up on just the basics to better myself and my skills of riding safely. Please people keep a eye out for motorcycles when you are out driving. Give them plenty of space and even help them out. You have more traction on the road then they do. What can I say, My introduction into the "Harley" family has been a most excellent one. At my first visit at the Riverside location over the past couple of months Bryan Nguyen has been my guy! He not only shared his knowledge and experience with me. Our conversations had us talking on varied topics of our life experiences. I would have to say, "Bryan is recognized by this newbie rider a friend." Chris "Stretch", I recognize as the lead man of sales for you guys. Like Bryan, Stretch made it a point to get personal with me in the coolest of ways. Stretch also got with the director of the classes in riding to help me get on the list so I can begin my riding experience sooner rather then later. Stretch is also a person I would like to go on a ride and hang with as a result of our interaction with each other. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Juan the Finance Director. Not only did Juan make this component of the sale seem easy. He also had me in a place of being comfortable about sharing how my wife (God Bless her soul) changed me completely prior to her passing. Juan did not pressure me with added this or you have to have that salesmanship. He presented the information that he felt was pertinent to what my needs where after he got to know me. This as well as the fact this was not only my very first bike, but Harley Davidson! I would highly recommend anyone, experienced or new to the biking way of life to work with these guys! My experience has left me with a tremendous level of excitement with what I am about to embark upon in my riding will have to offer. I especially am looking forward to participating in the "West Coast Thunder". An event designed to fund cemetery projects, including purchasing flower cones and assisting in the monthly burials of indigent and unaccompanied homeless Veterans. Because I too am a Navy Veteran, I will be so excited for my participation in this prestigious event for many years to come. You guys rock! read more

This review is in regards to the Harley Davidson Riding Academy. I'd like to thank Jim Bridges, Sheri Crosson and Kathie Carter for being great instructors. Jim Bridges deserves a special thank you for his service to our country (US NAVY) ret. Thank you sir! When I signed up for the Harley Davidson Riding Academy my number 1 interest was to have the class teach me skills, when if applied, would decrease my chances of injury or even death. Jim Bridges has this class extremely well organized and everything under his leadership runs seamless and efficient. Once the class has ended Jim provides all the necessary documents to present to the DMV as part of the M1 exam documents. I had not operated a motorcycle in 30 years although I did have a 10 year stint with a quad. Most in the class did not have street bike experience or any experience. Sheri Crossman and Kathie Carter provided the training from the course guide, field critique, and personal experience supported by empirical evidence. I have never met anyone who held more passion for motorcycle riding and becoming expert instructors and riders in my life. They truly are one of a kind. Once I was on the course sitting on my HD 500 training motorcycle I could hardly wait to get started and once it was in progress my love for riding a Harley (a dream come true for me) was solidified more than ever. Sheri and Kathi provided everyone in the class with individual critique which was always spot on for what needed adjustment to provide the outcome we all wanted--to be better and safe motorcycle riders. Sheri Crossman and Kathie Carter, words still fail to express how much I appreciated all of your teachings in the classroom and on the riding course. I will never forget either of you and your many lessons. Both of you will live "rent free" in my head when I am making simple turns to riding with friends on my touring trips. Extremely disappointing experience at Riverside Harley-Davidson after being a loyal customer for nearly 15 years. I rode out there on Friday specifically because of motorcycles advertised on their website at what appeared to be excellent prices. Once I arrived, I was told the bikes were either unavailable or "already gone." Conveniently, the sales staff immediately began pushing me toward much more expensive brand-new motorcycles instead. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic designed simply to get customers through the door. What made the experience even more insulting was the financing. I have an excellent credit score that is nearly maxed out, yet the only offers presented were outrageously high interest rates in the low teens along with 96-month payment plans. Stretching people into eight years of payments on a motorcycle is absurd. There were also supposedly no worthwhile promotions or Memorial Day specials available, which was shocking considering the timing and the current motorcycle market. The entire process felt dishonest, disorganized, and heavily focused on squeezing every possible dollar out of the customer rather than building long-term relationships. The sales staff and finance department did not seem knowledgeable or transparent, and after spending years supporting this dealership, I left feeling completely disrespected. Ironically, years ago this dealership was involved in a class action lawsuit where customers received settlement checks while attorneys walked away with the real money. Looking back now, it honestly feels like nothing has changed. To anyone considering making the trip to Riverside Harley-Davidson: CALL FIRST and make them physically verify the motorcycle is actually there before wasting your time riding out. Do not rely on the website inventory alone. It is unfortunate to walk away after 15 years, but this dealership has clearly gone downhill and earned the reputation it is creating for itself. read more

I did it. I purchased my first Harley. Iron 883. I drive by Harley Riverside everyday. Decided to stop by last wed. Was greeted by Goldy. Chatted up for a few minutes, and agreed to meet up Saturday to talk "business". Friday evening, found out Saturday wouldn't work, I called Goldy, and he agreed to meet me @ 630pm even though store closes at 7, and we all know a sell does not take 30 min. Brought my wife, check out bikes, which didn't take long since I already knew what I wanted. About 2 hours later, I rode my new bike home. AMAZING staff. I wish I had a name for every person that made it possible. I can assure you that no matter who you see at Riverside Harley Davidson, you will be VERY WELL taken care of. Wife and I were considering trading in one of our cars for the bike. Sales manager (I apologize for not remembering names) was straight up with me, which won my complete trust. He showed me the HONEST numbers and advised us to maybe sell car privately to get Max amount. Ended up not having to trade. Next day I came back to purchase helmet (with gift card that came with my new bike) and return a loner I had taken the night before so I could ride home. Goldy gathered up the whole crew, played "light my fire" By The Doors (per my request) and had me ring that big'O golden bell while the entire staff made a Rokus!! Over all, the whole experience was short and sweet. Riverside Harley made me feel welcome, and most important, got me my first Harley. You can shop around all you want, but what good does it do you to get a better deal (which I doubt you will) if it will not come with the care, consideration and friendliness that you will receive at Riverside Harley. I will try to post another review after a few more visits. OH!!! And did I mention their Bike Nights kn Fridays?? Live music, food, burnouts, and I hear they have $1 beers. Every year around the time of my Birthday(11/19) I browse the local Harley Davidson dealerships in dream of one day owning my very own. Unfortunately I had a locked idea of how much down I am willing to put down and monthly payments. No dealership would finance me under the terms that were affordable/feasible to me. I still kept the dream alive and attempted each year in the high desert. This year I tried something new, I did an application online at the largest Harley Dealership in reasonable driving distance...Riverside. I was very Surprised when Wendy from Riverside Harley called me and within hours had me pre approved for a Road King. That was enough for me to make the 90 mile 2 hour in traffic drive to Riverside. I was greated like a Queen and "The Fabulous Kyle Madsen" with his huge smile and excitement to see a potentially new Hog Family member was ever so kind and gathered up my supporting documents for financing as he handed me over to Danny Martinez to select the Harley of my choice. Danny must have pulled out and gone over 10 Harleys with me positively and full of excitment. He did not pressure or fade on me, he wanted to make sure I was happy and I chose the best bike for me. It was his mission to make sure I understood the features, performance and weight of each Harley. The Harley I selected is the XL883l Super Low Custom Sportser, after he took me back to " Fabulous Kyle". My credit was not the best and my locked in down and monthly payments were far fetched. HOWEVER, Kyle worked and worked on it and made it happen! EVERYONE at Riverside Harley was FANTASTIC and treated me like Family. I was the most awesome experience... Hearing the horns sound, lights dim and my favorite ACDC song (Shook me all night) blasting as I rang the bell was the icing on the experience.
