I was pretty angry at being called a liar, and felt like she was shaming me. I even looked at my call log and it showed that I had called and I offered to show it to them and come into the office. The lady I was talking to assured me their office manager would call me in a couple days when she was in. Instead, they said that they had management approval to have me scheduled with another doctor, but I was not allowed to see the original doctor because it was counted as a no-show. Continual shaming. Making me feel like I was untrustworthy and my integrity wasn't worth anything. To make matters worse, the office manager never called me. I promptly canceled my other appointment with the second doctor because I wasn't "good enough" and "worthy" to see the original one. Being shamed and being treated like you are a liar is not a type of relationship I want with an establishment.

I was given the option of having a Covid test and I had it done and thankfully it was negative for all ailments. I left with 4 prescriptions and instructions to come back for a follow-up visit (at no cost) if I didn't feel better in a few days. I've used this facility about 3 times and have been very happy with the care I received and I would recommend them without hesitation. Certainly better than waiting in an ER for something that can be handled by an urgent care facility.

Botched: Dr. Groves read another patient's medical file and…read moreinserted the wrong size implants. Prior to the surgery, I authorized Dr. Groves to implant one of three sizes. I did not authorize him to deviate from the operative plan. During surgery, Dr. Groves reviewed the wrong patient's file. He then inserted a size far different from any authorized size. In the operative note he wrote, "I felt this was the correct size for her." Six days post-surgery, at my first post-op appointment, Dr. Groves acknowledged he had reviewed a different patient's file. His exact words were, "I looked at the wrong note. I looked at the wrong sizes. So, it was all on me." Because of his malpractice, I had to recover from one botched surgery knowing I would have to undergo another surgery and painful recovery. I am happy to discuss my experience with anyone considering undergoing a procedure.

The two AA ladies who did my preworkup (history and EKG) were magnificent as well (Sorry I dont know your names). The echo technician was excellent. She was super, super nice and engaged in great conversation during the test. It was so full in the lobby when I got there, but one of the checkout ladies came from her desk to check people in from her hand held device to assist the the ladies working the four check in windows. I was very impressed with that.

I got a botched LASIK job in ATL, and went for a opinion here. My issues were exactly those referred to in military guidelines compounded by large pupils and vitreous detachments in both eyes. My questions must have been spot on. I believe this bc upon my departure, i walked out with one of their " release" forms. Some goon ran out and demanded it back. Lasik was a big money maker. Lasek is the surgery i should have gotten. Yet Lasek is more painful as there is no flap. Eisner defended LASIK and he should bc it has it's positives like easy tune ups post initial ablation, but he failed to grasp that in my case, LASIK was not ideal or perhaps neither choice was. Not once did Eisner acknowledge the militarys views as well as Dr Gaytons. An open mind instead of fear is the way.

It has freed up my life in so many ways. Dr. Eisner and his staff were awesome to work with and I would recommend his practice to anyone who is considering having their vision corrected.
