I seen a good selection of prepared foods and to go treats. I say the service was fast and the help was great. I find it filled with a good traffic flow and selections one can have for a Cambodian taste. The place is small with a lot of items at every corner.

For some reason here on yelp it says its closed BUT THEY ARE NOT. Its an asian grocery store they have korean, viet, filipino , asian products. They have a wide variety of meats, fresh veggies. They also have cooked meals and a variety of soups. My daughter loved their eggroll. its nice and crunchy! PARKING: the reason why i only gave 4 stars is the parking, its kinda tight and spaces are narrow Overall a good experience , i usually go to hmart but this is like a mini version of it , i will definitely go back here again

Great authentic khmer food. Everytime we goto LBC we have to stop by here and fill our cooler up with food. Only con is that place is dirty.

San Honoré Panderia at Island Pacific Supermarket…read more This is a review for San Honoré Panderia which is a bakery specializing in Filipino desserts located in Island Pacific Supermarket. My favorite items are their BIBINGKA and TAHO. Bibingka is a thick coconut rice cake with a cream cheese center. Their bibingka is baked and flavored to perfection! It has the right amount of sweetness and texture when you bite into it! So delicious! I typically eat it warm and pair it with my morning coffee. Taho is a sweet dessert made from soft tofu, brown sugar, and sago (tapioca pearls). You can have it warm or cold. Very simple and tasty. The bakery also has other options for desserts and serve fresh pandesal (sweet bread) daily. If you have a craving for Filipino dessert I highly recommend San Honoré Panderia!

This second visit, we also stocked up on a bunch of mangoes and ube ingredients, planning to make something different next time. The store itself is small but well-stocked. There's even a small deli inside. I noticed quite a few products and canned goods here that I've never seen at Vietnamese supermarkets like SF. The seafood and meat section seems to be one of their main strengths because it takes up a large area and everything looked pretty fresh. For dry goods and pantry items, prices are worth comparing with other Asian markets. Some Asian instant noodles and rice I saw were slightly more expensive than H Mart. Overall, even though the store isn't big, it carries most of the essential items you'd be looking for. Island Pacific Supermarket and Seafood 3300 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807

PSA: please tidy up this store if you want customers to come. Pressure wash, paint job, fresh flowers, a mop & bucket... etc etc The store is a mess, dust everywhere. You're not greeted with a smile when you enter. Everything is outdated. Things are placed on the floor and shelves sloppily. Disorderly. The dust, the dust. I have question if the products sold there are expired due to the amount of dust on them. I absolutely love to support my Africans brothers and sister but at this point if you're not willing to upkeep the establishment please let it go to someone who can and will. It's evident the place is burdensome to the owner( patience) she never seems happy. The people who fill in for her constantly is not knowledgeable about the store or the products. ONLY reason we go was because of the distance, lens our support and not willing to go further. It's an eye sore when you walk in. Products are never always available, why wait till you completely run out items to now reorder and lose customer,?! you lost out business. Several times I went there and what I wanted wasn't available, when asked when it'll be there "their still waiting" after how many years are you going to get a RELIABLE source?! Unprofessional. Invest in your store.

Pricey $13.99/lb My friend Vuoch recommended this store and was looking for tamarind to make authentic sinigang (sour soup) I've never encountered sour berries but they are sold here for $8.99/lb. I requested to try a piece and Lily, the kind shop manager offered a dip to try (dry chili n salt dip) My mouth is water falling as I write this, ooooh so sour!! But good! Manny, the other shop manager at the cashier is also nice. He said I just missed a chance of buying santol-- another fruit I have not encountered since 1985 or so. He said to return next week & call to save it for myself. This shop/market is small but packed with so much Asian groceries in a tiny space. Everything though is neatly arranged. Even the fruits & vegetables are fairly fresh as fresh can be considering how hard to come by these are. My lucky day! The tamarind just arrived in a box while I was perusing the shop. $8.99/lb-- still warm coz they were just freshly picked. I came back twice to buy more because my cousin will want some to dip in bagoong (salted preserved tiny shrimps). There is also freshly cooked foods for sale in plastic containers at the counter. I'm rethinking maybe I should've bought a few? There's always a next time. Mangosteen in bags also just arrived. $11.99/lb Thankfully I'm not a huge fan. Street parking & a dedicated parking lot, free. Will definitely return! I give them 5 stars for just having Camachiles & fresh tamarind AND that Lily & Manny being so nice!

I wish her continued success. Shawn C. My Yelp Review. I love getting out to support new businesses I saw Idowu African market on TikTok I wanted to stop by and show my support Located in a quiet residential neighborhood it's lowkey and a few blocks from the beach. With very limited parking on the street it took a minute for me to find a spot 5 minutes later a spot opened up in front of the market. Upon entering I'm greeted by a tall woman with a beautiful accent and smile. I realize that the beef & chicken patties I stopped in for is frozen and they only have spicy and no chicken. I looked around the store to see what they have and its small store with lots of interesting items and I immediately zero in on something good. Here's what I chose. Spicy Beef patties They baked up very well didn't taste too spicy and had a nice flavor I definitely will return and purchase them again. 8/10 Spicy plantain chips very crunchy with a nice kick they have a salt sweet thing going on. 8/10 Chin Chin It's tasty and I appreciate the kind and free gift. 6/10 Spiced Bun Thick and not very sweet I love it with a piece of 10/10 Matouks Pepper Sauce. Very good 10/10 This store appears to still being stocked but they have lots of specialty items and theres so much I want to try. Until next time. Just me Shawn C
