My favorite items are their BIBINGKA and TAHO. Bibingka is a thick coconut rice cake with a cream cheese center. Their bibingka is baked and flavored to perfection! It has the right amount of sweetness and texture when you bite into it! So delicious! I typically eat it warm and pair it with my morning coffee. Taho is a sweet dessert made from soft tofu, brown sugar, and sago (tapioca pearls). You can have it warm or cold. Very simple and tasty. ***PLEASE READ*** I rarely ever leave a review on anything but this is beyond disgusting and disappointing. We bought fried fish from this place and this is what they thought was acceptable to give to a customer. Trigger warning it's disgusting. Not our first time buying fried whole fish but this place didn't even gut the fish. THEY LEFT THE INSIDES INSIDE OF THE FISH. Raw insides. I ate some of the cooked outside flesh of the fish until I opened the inside of the fish to take the meat out and literally fish guts leaked all over the plate. All of the rest of the fish in the box were leaking fish fluids in the box they gave us to take them in. I'm fn traumatized this is NOT okay. Y'all need to do something about this. I've seen recently that their inventory has gotten better with fully stocked shelves and their produce is fresher. I can count on Island Pacific to have the quality milk and OJ I need as well as the Asian produce and ingredients. I was there today with my friend. This Phil house was the worst place I've ever been. The employees in front are so unbelievably unfriendly especially the manager. The manager was rude I was asking something she didn't even acknowledge me. All they do was talking instead of helping the customers. Their food was not good. Tenola was very oily but we don't care about that, all we want is good customer service. This place changed since the other manager left. My husband and I were making Buko Pandan and Mango Sago desserts for a friend's party and I couldn't find all the ingredients at SF Supermarket, so my husband stopped by this Filipino chain grocery store to pick up the rest and we finally got everything we needed. This second visit, we also stocked up on a bunch of mangoes and ube ingredients, planning to make something different next time. The store itself is small but well-stocked. There's even a small deli inside. I noticed quite a few products and canned goods here that I've never seen at Vietnamese supermarkets like SF. The seafood and meat section seems to be one of their main strengths because it takes up a large area and everything looked pretty fresh. For dry goods and pantry items, prices are worth comparing with other Asian markets. Some Asian instant noodles and rice I saw were slightly more expensive than H Mart. Younger women @ the fast food were rude , as if taking orders were irritating to them, that they don't belong there. Then leave, & look for another job. It was such a negative vibe on a breakfast pickup. The older women were more respectful to ALL their customers. I wouldn't hire these 20+ female servers on my business. This is the type of place you order from and sit at a table. Got here around 11am. Wanted to try out some breakfast, especially to eat some longonisa and sunny side up eggs with rice. Unfortunately they stopped serving breakfast. Ordered Caldereta, pancit , Sisig and rice. Actually pretty good. Serving size was below average, I expected more since the price of a combo meal was $16. Rice filled most of the plate. Overall would come back. But hopefully to make it for breakfast. This establishment cooks alot of food in the morning. I dont see alot of people ordering food so one wonders what they do with all the left overs at the end of closing time. Lol Positive Lots of parking. Its a grocery store so you have the convenience on taking some food home both from their restaurant and the shelves. Negative: Portion size is below average for the buck. Tables are greasy and are located by the fish section. So you can just smell the aroma! Island Pacific is still one of my favorite Markets for food essentials and more. Please see my prior reviews for detailed information. This store is well stocked I like the staff and most often find more goodies and things I didn't intend to buy every time I shop there. There is so much ice cream my goodness the varieties will have you drooling because they have some of the most decadent new and old flavors of ice cream that I have ever seen or tasted in 2025. The store It's bit funky smelling on this visit like real strong but after I was in there for a while but I got used to it otherwise the store is clean so today for some reason it's just the fish smell that had me bothered. Lol Today's visit was for the produce I needed to make what they call crack sauce or Jeow som. Thai bird chilies, limes, garlic, cilantro Calamansi fruit and fish sauce. I picked up chili sauce, hoisin sauce pansit canton and udon noodles. Marshmallows, a fat ripe mango and a bunch of bananas. Coconut/watermelon drink, liverwurst and yamo chocolate dip cookies I was tempted to buy food at the restaurant inside the store it smelled so good and everything was freshly made. The only reason why I am rating 3 stars is because of the food. Customer Service, not so much. I was standing in line to order food and the lady at the counter skipped me and went to the next person. Rude. I was standing there the whole time. Then the next lady who was taking orders went past me and said next customer. I had to wave my hand & say I'm next. It was loud so I had to yell to get her attention. She was rude when i was telling her what I want. She looked impatient, & seemed like she didn't wanted to service with me. Came here for the Ber-kada event last week. They had a dj and everything. DJ Rosé was awesome! So many people gathered to dance and even Zumba. I danced around the store while I shopped. We were buying baby bochoy and their bochoys are in a plastic bag and there are 7 botchiys in it. We only need 3 baby botchoy. We asked the cashier that we only need 3 and it's per pound anyways , she said that we don't have to buy it if we don't want the whole 7 Botchoy in the plastic bag, she said that they only sell per bag not retail. Came here last night around 730 PM with my family to buy Filipino food for dinner. We purchased several items, including suman, liempo, chicharon bituka, chicharon bulaklak, sisig, and taho from the store near the entrance. Unfortunately, multiple items appeared to be spoiled or not fresh. The suman had visible mold on it, the taho tasted sour, and the chicharon bulaklak tasted old and seemed to have been fried in stale oil. These are serious food quality and safety concerns. We tried calling the store that same evening, but no one answered. I also no longer have my receipt because I threw it away after purchasing the food. What is most concerning is that spoiled food can potentially cause illness. I find it unacceptable that a reputable store would sell products in this condition. Customers trust that the food being sold is safe to eat, and this experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. I hope management takes this matter seriously, reviews its food handling and quality control procedures, and reaches out to address these issues before other customers are affected. Try the food first before going home so you dont make the same mistakes or just dont trust their food! They sell not fresh food to their consumers! read more

I was in the LBC area, and I decided to hit the Island Pacific location bc its very conveniently located. Its just North of the 405 on Atlantic. Contrast the foregoing w/ the Lake Forest location, that is equidistant, but is located a couple of miles off the freeway. I bought a 4+lb of cebulechon that is already trussed up and ready to go. All you need to do is wash it off, and bake for four hours. The taste is as good as it looks. The meat is moist, the skin is crispy, and it is nicely seasoned inside w/ spices & lemongrass. I also bought atchara to contrast w/ the rich, savory meat. Goldilocks is a trusted brand amongst Filipinos, and the atchara was crunchy and bright. IP's are smaller, and more quaint vs Seafood City. Plus, they have a rewards program for spending money at the market, deli and bakery. The staff is very nice, and appreciate that I can at least say, "Ang pangit ng Tagalog ko", My Tagalog is bad, or I simply say I am Inglisero or Amerikano. I will definitely be back to pick up my Flip foodstuffs. I like the convenient location, and the staff has Mabuhay for its customers. read more

I went to visit the bakery, like I always do. I love the baked goods. The people at the registers are usually very kind and friendly, great service. But, this one lady, not sure what her name is, she wears a hat. Looks much older wearing different uniforms compared to the usual workers. She was a bit rude, I'm unsure if she works there. But, definitely not great service from her, she was a bit in a rush, not really smiling and taking account to the customers. read more

My husband bought some fish for dinner , already cut up in pieces and we have to fry it ourselves since if you ask them to do it, it's never done the way you wanted it. Unfortunately, we got a rotten fish, that when you fry it , not staying as a whole it's not firm , too tender that you end up with bits of pieces of the fish. My point is, not all, can tell right away if the fish is fresh or not, but they should have a quality control and check if their fish are still fresh for people to buy and eat. End up wasting money and throwing food away. read more

I love their dinuguan, paksiw na lechon, arroz caldo, lomi, pinakbet and binagoonghan baboy. Their pancit malabon is a hit or miss. On Tuesdays seniors get a discount and in the supermarket. If you join their rewards program, you get a $5 discount for every cumulated $500 purchase. read more

Made a pick up time for 100 lumpia at 3:15, came to pick it at exactly 3:15 and they said they forgot and that their fryer was off. So they told us that it would take 10-15 mins to heat up the fryer and then they would cook the lumpia. Mind you, we came in at 11am to ensure that pick up time was at 3:15! But with all the delay we didn't get our order until 4pm. They gave it to us and said thanks for waiting. No apology, no ownership of fault, just thanks for waiting. We had a birthday party to go to and we had the cake and other dishes just sitting in the car. If it weren't for their food being decent, specifically the lumpia, I wouldn't come here. Their service is by far the worse for Filipino food. But back to the lumpia, we tried a lumpia and it was so doughy. They either threw the lumpia in the fryer too early or took the lumpia out too early. Either way, it didn't resemble the other lumpia sitting out on the to go area. Mu family comes to this location often, and we love the authentic snack and food selections here. We've gotten fried fish squid from the seafood department, and the service and price is good. The bakery selection has some favorites of ours such as matcha/red bean and corned beef in buns etc., but we visit the cafe/restaurant area the most. I love coming here. Everyone is very friendly. I just have 1 issue. Today Saturday May 3,25 I was standing in the food line for I believe was about 30 minutes just waiting to pay. I'm not sure if people are asking for extra things when they reach the cashier but they really should have someone else assisting at the register. The younger lady and gentleman both assisted in serving the food. However by the time everyone paid and got the food, it was cold.
