I was there today with my friend. This Phil house was the worst place I've ever been. The employees in front are so unbelievably unfriendly especially the manager. The manager was rude I was asking something she didn't even acknowledge me. All they do was talking instead of helping the customers. Their food was not good. Tenola was very oily but we don't care about that, all we want is good customer service. This place changed since the other manager left. To the general manager please teach your employees to be more friendly.

My husband and I were making Buko Pandan and Mango Sago desserts for a friend's party and I couldn't find all the ingredients at SF Supermarket, so my husband stopped by this Filipino chain grocery store to pick up the rest and we finally got everything we needed. This second visit, we also stocked up on a bunch of mangoes and ube ingredients, planning to make something different next time. The store itself is small but well-stocked. There's even a small deli inside. I noticed quite a few products and canned goods here that I've never seen at Vietnamese supermarkets like SF. The seafood and meat section seems to be one of their main strengths because it takes up a large area and everything looked pretty fresh. For dry goods and pantry items, prices are worth comparing with other Asian markets. Some Asian instant noodles and rice I saw were slightly more expensive than H Mart. Overall, even though the store isn't big, it carries most of the essential items you'd be looking for. Island Pacific Supermarket and Seafood 3300 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807

This is the type of place you order from and sit at a table. Got here around 11am. Wanted to try out some breakfast, especially to eat some longonisa and sunny side up eggs with rice. Unfortunately they stopped serving breakfast. Ordered Caldereta, pancit , Sisig and rice. Actually pretty good. Serving size was below average, I expected more since the price of a combo meal was $16. Rice filled most of the plate. Overall would come back. But hopefully to make it for breakfast. This establishment cooks alot of food in the morning. I dont see alot of people ordering food so one wonders what they do with all the left overs at the end of closing time. Lol Positive Lots of parking. Its a grocery store so you have the convenience on taking some food home both from their restaurant and the shelves. Negative: Portion size is below average for the buck. Tables are greasy and are located by the fish section. So you can just smell the aroma! Lol Ambiance of filipino culture and a mixture of Trader Joe's. Gave it 4 of 5 because I did not have the chance to critique the breakfast special. Make sure you go early to taste the freshness. I will be back! :)

Came in today to check out the food that they was serving. There was a line already. We jumped in and was looking at everything:) looks so yummy. The food went quick. Little did we know that there is a buy one get one on Wednesday lol thanks to the nice lady in front of us giving all the info. She said isn't that why we were there? I said nope I saw them on instagram and needed to check it out :) thank you! Ambiance is quite! Everything went smoothly! The place is clean and well organized. Everyone had a smile on there faces. Ohh! And there is a guy outside selling Porto's! We ended up getting that too haha! Hungry hippos! We will definitely be back! Two thumbs up!

    Delicious and refreshing.

Island Pacific is still one of my favorite Markets for food essentials and more. Please see my prior reviews for detailed information. This store is well stocked I like the staff and most often find more goodies and things I didn't intend to buy every time I shop there. There is so much ice cream my goodness the varieties will have you drooling because they have some of the most decadent new and old flavors of ice cream that I have ever seen or tasted in 2025. The store It's bit funky smelling on this visit like real strong but after I was in there for a while but I got used to it otherwise the store is clean so today for some reason it's just the fish smell that had me bothered. Lol Today's visit was for the produce I needed to make what they call crack sauce or Jeow som. Thai bird chilies, limes, garlic, cilantro Calamansi fruit and fish sauce. I picked up chili sauce, hoisin sauce pansit canton and udon noodles. Marshmallows, a fat ripe mango and a bunch of bananas. Coconut/watermelon drink, liverwurst and yamo chocolate dip cookies I was tempted to buy food at the restaurant inside the store it smelled so good and everything was freshly made. I'll be back for everything I need to make lumpia and buy some Filipino spaghetti from the restaurant inside Bye for now. Just me Shawn C.

The only reason why I am rating 3 stars is because of the food. Customer Service, not so much. I was standing in line to order food and the lady at the counter skipped me and went to the next person. Rude. I was standing there the whole time. Then the next lady who was taking orders went past me and said next customer. I had to wave my hand & say I'm next. It was loud so I had to yell to get her attention. She was rude when i was telling her what I want. She looked impatient, & seemed like she didn't wanted to service with me. At that point I just wanted to pay for my food & leave. And so I did. Do I want to come back again? Probably not, only if I'm really & craving Filipino hot foods and dessert. I'd rather go to the other locations in the LA area.

Where's the meat on this sisig ? lol

First time going to this place and I'm not sure if ima get the same item. I love Sisig but yall need to put more meat in this

Thank you Ali for going above and beyond with food service. Food and service were exceptional, island pacific is damn lucky to have you gurl!

So happy this is so close to me now. I can get some quick lunch at a great price too! All I was craving today was some pancit and lumpia. Next time I'm definitely going to try the skewers! The inside was very straightforward and easy to navigate. Nice little seating booths to eat your lunch at as well. Parking was a breeze and the employees were helpful with my questions and friendly.

Everyone was super nice. One of the employee employees from the back explained why they didn't have Dungeness crab and he was super sweet about it. And then the cashier in the front was very helpful with the recommendations. Instead, I got 2 pounds of crawfish in one of their sauces. Dude, they're crawfish are so fresh and fat. There's limited parking in the back of the building and only big enough for smaller compact cars. They have several buckets of fish sitting on ice chips, lining the middle of the store. A couple live tanks against the wall. Decent variety. When I was choosing my fish from their ice buckets, I thought they looked a little extra slimy but against my better judgment just gave it a shot anyway. Took my catfish to the kitchen to request it be fried. Within a couple hours of eating, I got the worst food poisoning I've had in a very long time. This was such a disappointing experience and now I'm sick as a dog. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
