The passenger side and rear cabin stopped blowing warm air in my 2014 Ford F-150. Did some research: the blend door actuator went bad (there's only one). Took it in to Rivertown Ford. I was willing to pay someone a bit to get it fixed (my time is precious and expensive...). They told me BOTH sides were bad (remember, there's only one). They had no idea I actually did a little research. They assumed I had no experience/knowledge (I grew up working on cars for my father's auto body and vehicle electronics business). They quoted me $1,251.04, parts and labor, clearly trying to take advantage of me. I went home and ordered the $20 part from Amazon and did it myself in about an hour. Rivertown Ford Service Center was the very worst I have ever encountered. The people behind the counter will come off as looking out for you but they're just looking for your money. If they had quoted me even half that, I would have paid it, again, my time is worth a lot). They really lost out on some profit because they went overboard in price gouging me . read more

Our 6th visit as this is the only Ford Dealership in town. Father and Grandfater were Ford employees and driven them my whole life. Not what I expect out of Ford Service and Quality. The service department is horrible. Fully expect to waste my time every time i have to deal with them. Most every review on this place is spot on here. Your schedueled appointment times don't matter. You reserve a time but they just get around to it when they can. They have poorly diagnosed vehicle issues, sent my wife off with a tire that had a large nail in it saying nothing was wrong. Left us sitting in the waiting room all day to tell us are car wasn't going to get looked at and might take another day or two on another occasion. The latest visit was for tires and had an appointment only to show up, wait an hour to get told they were sold to another customer right in front of us. Their excuse was the system didn't state the work and the tires were not identified for our appointment so they sold them to a walk in. How in the hell do you tell us this is your appointment your good to go we have the tires in shop come in first thing tomorrow with an appointment and then sell them to someone else. Been waiting all day still no tires. I could have picked them up myself in Atlanta a drove back faster than this. The Techs know us by name because you can only complain so much. 6 visits over 9 months and not one thing fixed. This place isn't worth the time or energy anymore. read more

I have waited to post this review intentionally to ensure that I write about facts instead of merely emotions. The issue that I had was through the service department. I brought my 2006 F250, to the Rivertown Ford Service department on August 17th 2015, my vehicle was completed September 9th 2015. I was left without a mode of transportation for 26 days. Originally I was told by Mark a service rep that my vehicle had an expected completion time of 1 week. I was not happy with this answer, but was ensured that the best mechanics are working at this dealership and I would be taken care of. I came back on August 24 to check on the status of my vehicle to that it was not only incomplete but the work had not even been started to diagnose let alone correct my issues. It was at this time that I spoke with the Service Manager; Al Miller. I requested for some sort of financial compensation, or a rental car from the dealership. He informed me that they did not have any loaner vehicles at the dealership but he would be happy to give me the $30 per day rate through the local rental company. It was after this that I contacted corporate Ford to see if they could resolve my issue and their response was "Ford dealerships are independently owned and operated; and therefore may set their own service and business practices. Ford Motor Company is unable to intervene in sales and workmanship issues." When it was all said and done I gave my rental agreement to a service employee in order to file some sort of claim through MY warranty company. It is now September 29th and my warranty company has no record of Rivertown even making a rental claim. All of this hassle for one fuel injector, a job that the warranty company says is supposed to take 2 days but took 26. I brought my vehicle to what I thought would be a reputable business, a company worth trusting. I was sadly mistaken. I am understanding to the fact that business can be backed up, but I do not believe that I should be punished because the Rivertown Ford Service department doesn't have the staff to accommodate a demand for the only Ford dealer in town. This has got to be the worst Ford Dealership and Service Department I have ever dealt with. I had a friend of mine do the brakes on my Ford Escape and afterwards the brake lights on the dash came on. When I called to ask what might cause this I was told it was probably just a simple system reset as my brakes were engaging and working just fine. Took it in for a 1pm appointment, apparently that's just a check in time not actually an appointment...who knew?!? Anyway just for a diagnostic check it's $144! To hook it up to a damn computer and run a systems check! Next thing I'm being told is there are stripped bolts on my calibers that could be causing the issue. How is this possible when the calibers were never even touched during the process of having my brakes replaced?!? Next it was, 'Oh it could be that your ABS line wasn't bled and we need to bleed the line'. Who the hell bleeds out their ABS lines during a routine brake replacement?!? Next thing I know they are calling me stating I need a new master cylinder. At this point I tell them to stop. I don't trust anything they are telling me and that I going to have someone come pick up my vehicle. But wait it gets even better!!!! When my friend gets there to pick my SUV up, he's told the braking system no longer works and that it isn't drivable!!! But yet it was drivable for two days prior to taking it to them! So, for the first time in a long time, I decided I would take my truck to the dealership. The problem: a weird, violently sporadic shimmy in the front end, while driving. I had the vehicle towed to Rivertown. The initial report was that the tie rod ends were bad and would need replaced for $405. When I asked if that was the exact problem, I was told they couldn't be sure, because they had only done a visual inspection. They said they needed to do these expensive repairs to even move the vehicle into the shop. Once they got it in the shop, they jumped the quote up to over $3000. I reviewed the itemized quote and authorized rack and pinion (quoted at $315), sway bar link ends (quoted at $80), and a front end alignment (quoted at $80). Fast forward a few days and the repairs are done. The end total: just shy of $2000. The rack and pinion was billed at $883 and the sway bar billed at $380. An entirely separate charge of $300-something was added for extra measure. The service advisor through all of this was Veronica Gearhart. When I went to Rivertown Ford, there wasn't a single manager that would actually come out to talk to me. Instead a separate service advisor, Kenneth Cook, busted his ass for an hour chasing them down to discuss the situation and work to get my bill down to what it was actually quoted at. He is the single factor that made the experience be limited to a bad Yelp! Review, and not small claims court. Once I got my truck back, there were old parts left in my vehicle, the turn signal had been broken by the technician, and my window was left in the down position, despite them knowing the motor was busted. This is the type of behavior and dishonesty I would expect from a shady backwoods service center, not what is supposed to be a dealership. Apparently they have moved their tactics further than simply overcharging for parts. The high cost of service is supposed to be justified by a higher level of professionalism and honesty. read more

2016 explorer broke down at 5000 miles. Today the bass doesn't work and the service department says nothing is wrong. Went out to a new explorer and listened to the radio. It has bass like mine did. This is just the start of wishing I didn't buy this piece of crap. And service is also crap. read more

This review is in regards to the service center. If I could give them no stars I would. I brought my car in to the dealership, late August of last year, on the verge of death. The engine had started knocking, fortunately it was still under warranty. The service rep, Kevin came out to see the car, he ended up telling me it would be a couple days before they could start working on it.....alright a couple days isn't bad. Later on that day I got a call from Kevin asking me why there wasn't any oil in the engine, despite the fact he had checked it with me earlier and verified that there was, then he accused me of leaving the oil cap off, when the last person to touch that was him..... This was also the last phone call I received from Kevin for about a month. Every other time was me calling and trying to find out about my car. Having identified that there was something wrong with the engine, Kevin told me it'd be a couple days before the parts would come in and they could start working on it. I found this out after SEVEN days of no contact. I had to call them repeatedly asking for updates. A couple days turned into 27 days of waiting, all while having to rent a car to get to and from Ft. Benning for work. Every time I called, I got the distinct impression that I was wasting Kevin's time and that I was foolish for calling. Fortunately Ford covered the engine repairs, but I was still out the 27 days of car rental fees before they even started working on repairing my car. Kevin just about laughed in my face when I asked if they offered loaners. Coincidental enough the mandatory turn around for Ford repairs is 30 days. The time from when I dropped my car off and it was returned was 29 days. If they had been upfront about the time I would have to wait, it would have been one thing, instead it was always "a couple days" whenever I asked for a time frame. The kicker is that recently I moved to Ft. Carson, Co. and had my oil changed. They noticed that my cars splash guard and the cover for my motor oil and filter under my car were missing..... the mechanics that fixed my car, had taken them off and neglected to replace them, resulting in damage to my car's belt, and debris getting on the engine assembly and all around it. That was the final straw that convinced me to write this review and save someone else the same hassle. In summation not only did Rivertown offer crappy customer service, they mislead me on the time it would take, cost me close to 800 in car rental fees and stole parts from my car, costing me another 180 in replacement fees. If I could do it again, I would have paid a tow truck to bring my car to Auburn and pay that cost, rather than deal with Rivertown again. It would have been cheaper and faster. read more

I highly recommend both my sales person Assad and the finance manager Daniel. Can't say enough about how professional and just plain nice these two gentlemen are. I had been looking for a particular model F-150 truck for the past several months with no success. I just happened to see that Rivertown Ford had one in stock that they had recently acquired. I called on Wednesday, 2/9, and was fortunate enough to be put in touch with Assad in sales. I am in South Carolina, so I was really only able to look at the truck via the many pictures on their website. I told him that I was definitely interested in purchasing the vehicle. We arrived at what I thought to be a really fair price, and I sent them a deposit to hold it for me. I flew out Saturday morning , 2/12, from Charleston, and Assad was kind enough to pick me up at the airport there in Columbus. Back to the dealership we went where I had to sign the paperwork. Assad then turned me over to Daniel, the finance manager, a very professional and just down to earth, nice person. I cannot say enough about my buying experience at Rivertown Ford. Seems like you always hear about the bad car buying experiences from people. That was certainly not the case with me at Rivertown. My purchase was made so much more seamless and such a pleasant buying experience because of Assad and Daniel. Two excellent professionals who will make your next car experience a better one. Was charged $401 for a rebuilt alternator that is $179.00 from the Auto Zone. Was told I needed new tire - which I bought from them. They told me the tire only had 50K miles life. Checked on line they were 65K miles. Was charged 39.95 for Customer pays for work order. Do not buy here and do not get your car serviced here. read more

Came in for an oil change along with correction of my husband and my Warranty. Was told 40 min for oil change, so went to finance to correct our 18 month (can't go any longer) warranty. The gentleman who assisted me with the ongoing difficulties we've had with trying to take care of the warranty was excellent. Didn't miss a beat. Name David Ray. The lady who assisted me with the oil change on the other hand seemed annoyed with my questioning of price and "recommended services" from the laborers. I have been dealing with Rivertown Ford for 8 years. I have purchased 5 F150s (2011-2019) and 2 Explorer Sports from them. The service department has been nothing but terrible all of these years. I had a few run ins with the service department. -2013 F150, around 2015, with new tires put on that weren't balanced, they sent me out of the shop at closing time. Truck vibrated so bad, couldn't drive it. Had to bring it back the next day. -2015 Explorer Sport with emissions smell in cabin, quoted me $2500 to fix, this was before before the recall, I got rid of the car -2015 F150 King Ranch, about 5 different recalls, try to schedule with Rivertown Ford service around summer of 2018, they had a backlog of recalls, still haven't heard back from them, got rid of truck -2017 Explorer Sport, wife came in fall on 2017 with nail in tire around 8 in the morning, was turned away due to them being too busy. Turned away with a flat tire on a brand new ($50K) car purchased at their dealership. Took it to Tire Engineers next door and they fixed it in 15 minutes. -2017 Explorer Sport, bad battery still under warranty, spring 2019, took several days to get an answer on whether the battery was covered under warranty, took the car down there and after they had it, then told me that it had to be plugged to their computer and it would take four hours. Four hours for a battery. Received the vehicle back and the NAV screen quit working properly, got rid of car and went back to an Acura MDX - 2017 Explorer Sport, made an appointment to look at messed up NAV screen, in June 2019. Came in Saturday morning at the scheduled time(8:00A.M.). Left the dealership and received a call 30 minutes later that they couldn't look at our car and we had to come back and pick it up. The power was out the day before and they were backed up. Instead of letting people know the day before or getting there early that morning and letting people know, they chose to inconvenience the customer and not themselves. Problems happen and I understand, but when you put all of this together it doesn't look good. The sales crew is great, Always worked with Demetrius Jackson(DJ) for 8 years, but due to the service dept, I will not be back and do not recommend using this dealership. After almost a decade this dealership still hasn't got their act together. Soldiers, go to Atlanta, do not use this dealership. After the sale is done, that's it. read more

This review is long overdue but avoid it all all cost if you are in the market for a new vehicle. I obtained a new vehicle with a "Great" deal at 0% APR guess what next day they inform me that they would need to change the deal...making my payments slightly higher. Ok fine I agreed to it becuause honeslty car shopping was a hassle and I did like the vehicle. Next problem vehicle had keyless entry pad that was not functional* found this out after I purchased* anywho I had to make an appointment with the service department so they can reprogram it. Came in at 10am by 12 they gave me my vehicle with a new crooked keyless pad and scratches on my new vehicle! So I tried to unlock my vehicle with my remote key....guess what it no longer worked. So they took vehicle to back again. By 2:30pm they had no idea what was going on and finally decided to give me a rental car since I had to go. I kept calling to see what was going on, no one ever followed up with me even after the manager said they would. Overall I had issues with both the GM and service manager saying they would follow up with me with issues I had and only tried to resolve the problem once I was frustrated, never even bothered to offer an apology and putting blame on others. read more

Wish I could also give the service department zero stars... I scheduled maintenance to address a mandatory recall on my Fusion. I made the appointment a week in advance to ensure that the department could order the necessary parts and have them arrive in time for my vehicle repair. On my scheduled appointment day, I dropped off my car and walked into the service department. First, the man at the counter could not find any record of my appointment nor any record that the required parts were ordered. This all happened after he spent 5 minutes looking at papers on his desk before even acknowledging my presence. Again, another issue with not being greeted or helped right off the bat. Anyway, it took him 5-10 minutes to go talk to the right people to indeed discover that the parts were in the garage and that he would take my vehicle. I picked up my car the next day to find that whoever had done some work from within the car left two distinct black marks on my tan interior. And the car was dirtier than when I had left it -- more grass and small black shavings that I had to clean up. It is evidence of sloppiness and poor customer service. This department does not go the extra mile to ensure that the people they serve return to them, and that is a shame -- because I will not be returning. It is also a shame that I have not been able to scrub those black marks clean. read more

We bought a 2014 f250 a few months back from here. The truck now only has 49k on it. The radiator is already leaking ?! Also, the buying process was so so long which we did expect. After waiting for hours the truck came out ... NOT EVEN DETAILED!!! we live 1.5 hours away one way. We had to leave. My husband does work in Columbus so we were told bring it back and we will make it right . He did. They didn't. Brought it back for the detail due.... They STILL DIDNT DETAIL THE TRUCK! They had it all day!!! Unbelievable ! Soooo we were apologized to once again by river town ford and told come back when you are in town again. The truck will be detailed for free and we will fill your tank up for all your driving back and forth. Weeks later we brought it back for the oil to be changed .. The radiator JUST looked at ( this was the day we found out this new truck already needs a new radaitor) receive the detail, and be fueled. I made an appt for 10 am. By 3 pm I was told the truck hadn't even been looked at. After being on hold for a long time I was told your radiator is leaking.. Oil is being changed .. We still have to detail. After 8 hours the truck that only received a basic oil change and detail is still there! My husband is currently waiting.. Not sure if it will be fueled . Hoping they honor what they promised. All around not happy with the treatment of this place. I bought my GMC 6.5 yrs ago.. It has 76k miles on it and I have NEVER TOUCHED IT besides basic oil changes etc.. Same with our 2003 Chevy HD with almost 200k on it !! Last FORD I will buy and never will I give this place a dime again. Really don't care to hear the manager respond to this either .. Sick of excuses. Oh and it wasn't cute of the employee who was parking cars in the river town Ford parking lot to act like he was going to hit me.. Just flirting with a silly grin on his face. Again.. Very unprofessional ! Buyers beware !!!!! Update: Truck was there 9 hours ... And the truck is still not detailed . Dash board dirty.. Floors not clean.. Not even vacuumed .. Arm rest still dirty .. Cup holders not even touch.. Side doors still had mud on them..mud still on tires . Fourth Time people FOURTH TIME !! So now we are told y'all have it detailed and we will pay. And the radaitor is shot.. They did put fuel in the truck like promised... But that is it. Worst buying experience ever...!!!!! We are already considering trading this truck in and going back to the Chevy dealership where we usually buy. At this Chevy dealership we are always treated with respect and they are the upmost examples of business professionals. Again buyers BEWARE!!! However, I have a voicemail from an associate proving how many times we have been back... And another manager is aware of our MANY trips back and forth as well. Brought ford 450 RV in with bad wheel bearing 4/1/19 at 9am. They said could fix it. 2 hours later they said they couldn't fix it, didn't have room for it and get it off the lot. Told them it was undriveable and I would have to get it towed off. I took pictures of the lot showing lots of room to do repair. After hours of phone work found tow truck and a good truck repair person. All this out of my pocket. $450 tow fee and $1000 repair. This vehicle under a year old, under warranty, and Rivertown Ford refused to fix it. Attitude was nasty. Pls do not buy anything there. read more

I have been waiting now for about 80 days and still do not foresee getting my car fixed in the near future according to them. Working with Scott and Terry Laughlin as my Service Advisor made getting my Ford Explorer Sport serviced (4 new Michelin tires & oil change) a really excellent experience! Terry really went out of his way to make sure all of my expectations were met and exceeded... I felt like he sincerely cared that I left a happy customer. He even made sure I got to my college class in time when I missed the shuttle!! Customer service is definitely not lacking with Terry & Scott. They're keepers!! read more

Terrible terrible experience. I went to river town back a couple months ago and had over $5000 of work done. I had my car there for over a week before they started working on it, after telling me it would only be 2 day job. I was never called as promised by river town, I constantly had to call them to receive updates hours after I had been promised call backs. Finally got my car back and now a couple months later had a light come on and attempted to take it to river town again but they had scheduling issue and couldn't take my car this week. So I took it somewhere else because it need to be fixed this week and found out that there had been a clamp that was not put back on the heater hose, ignition cool was not properly seated and tied on with a zip tie. I definitely will not come back here again! I took my truck in with an 11:00 appointment on Friday, thinking that at least I would get a diagnosis the same day. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After 3 hours, I called to find out the status. My truck had not been looked at, but the service rep said he would call back in an hour or so and let me know what was going on with my vehicle. He did not, so I called him again. My call went to voicemail. Mysteriously, he called me back after I called back and asked to speak to the service manager. Of course, the service manager was unavailable. When the service advisor finally called back, he told me that they would not be able to get to my vehicle until the next day. Saturday morning, I called again to find out if anyone had looked at my vehicle. At that time I was told that they would not get to it until Monday. I really have a problem with the fact that I, the customer, had to do all of the calling. When I told the service rep that I was coming to get my vehicle, there was no questions asked. No one seemed to care that they were losing my business. BTW, I have spent several thousand dollars here before, and I received the same poor service. In all fairness, I think the mechanics do good work. However, the customer service is shamefully sorry! When I picked up my vehicle, no one asked me why, in fact, they did not even have it ready to go. I had to stand around and wait for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. The bottom line is that there plenty of good people in Columbus, Georgia that can work on Fords and that want your business. Rivertown Ford's Service department seems to be more concerned with hanging out and socializing rather than taking care of their customers. Also, trying to get the service manager on the phone seems to be next to impossible. I guess he gets tired of getting complaints all day from dissatisfied customers. read more

We just moved here within the last mth, my truck was having issues and I called this ford place(since it was the only one in Columbus) got an apt made. the apt date came and we dropped it off 5 mins before our appointment. apparently the apt time means absolutely nothing. according to them it was just a time I scheduled to drop the vehicle off doesn't mean they will get to my vehicle that time or day. Well I received a phone call about 4pm that evening they haven't even got to my vehicle at all due to them having 15 vehicles in front of me,they left over from the day before. so the next day came I haven't herd anything from them. it was 3pm and I called them myself and wanted to see if they got to my vehicle after the service manager told be on the phone the day BEFORE that they would get to my vehicle today. well according to the service advisor they didn't even touch my vehicle. he said mine wasn't the only one not looked at.. so tomorrow is sat and he said they are only half staffed and they may not get to it tomorrow.. He said it will be next week sometime before my vehicle is even looked at to see what's wrong with it.. EXCUSE ME WHAT! this is by far the worst dealership I've ever been to.. read more

I'll never step foot in this service department again. My check engine light came on so I stopped at Rivertown ford service depart to schedule a diagnosis and hopefully repair my issue. I was scheduled two days later for my appointment. I dropped my vehicle off the night prior to ensure that it was there for the 0830 appointment the following day. The day of the appointment I received no contact or status the entire day. So finally after getting off work I called Rivertown at 5 PM. I was informed my vehicle hasn't been looked at yet and they won't get to it until Monday. When I pointed out that I had an appointment scheduled I was told that the appointment was only an appointment to be in line for service! That's gotta be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. So now I've waisted my time and still have a truck with a check engine light on. First off I was wary to take my truck to Rivertown Ford as they had such a low star rating and the first dozen reviews I read were one star with only one above three stars. Below is my horror story that ensued from wanting to get my vehicle serviced in a timely manner. I'm not local I even tried to find a diesel mechanic in the area but they were all booked out for at least three weeks. So I took my truck to Rivertown Ford for some general maintenance work because my truck was throwing some codes. I was informed over the phone that their diesel mechanic could get to it right away. It took them about a month to do four hours of work, which I was calling them once a week to check the progress. Don't bother leaving messages no one even managers call back. They worked on my truck and told me that it was drive-able but it was not working properly but they couldn't figure out what the problem was. They said that it should be fine to drive. Well I paid over $500 for the work they did. I picked up the truck on a Friday drove it and noticed that when I got home there was oil leaking from under my truck but not in the normal under engine area, this concerned me as the tailgate was also covered with oil too. I opened the hood and there was oil spray all over the underside of the hood right in the area they worked on. But they assured me that this was not their problem and they would not fix the botched repairs or clean my now covered with oil underside of my truck. This work was completed by a "Ford Master Diesel Technician" who could not figure out what was wrong with the truck after three weeks. They told me that Monday when I dropped it off with them again that they would get right on fixing any other repairs that may need attention. I called back about two or three days later and they said that there were several other jobs that were in front of mine and it would be at least a month till I would even be diagnosed. I told them about what I had noticed with the drive-ability of the truck, I completed my training in the area they said that nothing had been done and I would be required to pay a $240 fee for diagnostic. I arrived and read over the invoice and it was a work for word dictation of what I had told them what I was noticing when driving my truck for the few days I had it back. I asked who had done the diagnostic work on my truck and they told me the service representative. I asked if a mechanic had done a diagnosis on my truck. The individual checking me out told me no just the service representative, I asked how would a service representative diagnosis a vehicle without any training. His response was the service representative checked it out and that is what they charge for a diesel diagnosis. The service manager told me the second time it came into the shop, that he was concerned about working on my truck because of the high mileage but that didn't concern him the first time. It felt he told me, if anything goes wrong after we worked on the truck that we will not warranty our work because we don't trust ourselves. But I guarantee that they would charge me for anything they broke during repairs and just blame it on a bad part. Stay away from this business at all cost, they will blame you for anything that is wrong that they caused and make you pay for all of it. They take their time with all of it too, Confronting anyone of them about their workmanship is like trying to pin jello to a wall. Its sad to see customer service dead like this. The only resolution for me is a refund of the money that i paid for services that were not needed. You had the opportunity to do this a year ago and choose not to. Please dont post these offers for resolution that will amount to nothing for your customer. I called to see if they could make me a key for my 1997 ford f150 because I lost my only key and the guy in parts told me yes so I called my insurance company to have my truck towed there. My dad told me I should call to make sure that the guy gave me the correct information before having my truck towed there so I called to reverify and again a guy in parts told me yes to my 1997 Ford f150. I was really excited because a lock smith was going to cost $150 but he told me if the key didn't have a chip it would probably be $15-$20 but if it had a chip it would probably be around $50. The guy who towed my truck showed up really late and didn't get it there till around when they closed so the next day I went in and showed them my title and license like I was told in order to prove it was my vehicle and found out that apparently they could NOT make a new key because they only keep the codes for the keys for 8 years, which would have been nice to know before. So the guy that helped me was really nice and told me he might be able to get me a discount on a lock smith and would call and then give me a call the following day to let me know. I got a phone call and he said he could have a lock smith come out and told me it would be $120 and I asked if there would be any additional fees such as driving to the dealership and he said no it would be $120 flat so I told him that was fine at least I saved $30 still. I went to get my truck a few hours later and was told the price would be $140. I told the lady that I was supposed to pay $120 which is why I asked about the price and she went and got the guy who had been helping me. I asked him why it changed and he claimed that he told me 140 and I told him no you said 120 flat, I was at work and around my sister who all heard the price by the way but he was persistent in literally telling me I was wrong that he told me 140. He then went to say that he told me 140 but would charge me 120 anyways and then charged me 125!!! If I was told 140 I would have been outraged because I could have had my truck to drive 3 days sooner for only $10 more, now I'm just outraged with this entire experience. Especially because he was nice yesterday when i was there with my fiance but when i was by myself today and told him about the 120 he was completely rude. This whole experience was absolutely ridiculous and i will NEVER go to Ford again, I really cannot emphasize on that statement enough. I spoke with the manager Allen and he was very nice and listened to the problems I had, his sincerity and attitude made a big difference on my outlook of Ford, for that I changed my review from a 1 star to a 2 star, I wish all the staff could be as nice and knowledgeable as him because then I would give them a 4 or 5 star. read more

The dealership at Rivertown Ford is clean and staff is friendly. Steve Moore was our salesperson. We bought two vehicles within two days from him. He helped my daughter and son-in-law get the best value for their trade-ins and price for the new vehicles. I would rate that part of the experience 4* (but see below regarding referral process and concerns). However, the process of getting the referrals $ x2 was a hassle and I/we have never received it and numerous follow-up calls and text messages with the salesperson. I would rate this part of the experience a 1*. Almost 3 months later and none of the referrals have been received. The finance part of the purchase with David was great. Explained everything and was patient with all our questions especially with purchasing two vehicles. I would have rated this part a 4 but there were times I left voicemail messages for two weeks and didn't a call back. I had to speak to my salesperson to have the finance person call me. So with that I rate this part a 3*. And unfortunately, the one vehicle needed service within a month and half which was no big deal because it was covered under warranty. In addition, I had to schedule the towing of the vehicle to the dealership. the towing company suggested to use was very rude and inept. However, the scheduling of the service appointment and the actual service of the vehicle didn't go so well. They "forgot" about the vehicle until we call the next day to get status. What should have only taken one day ended up taking like 3. Scott the manager in the service dept. ended getting the matter straightened out but geez. Rating would be 1*. read more

Worst Service! I've been waiting to get a headlight replaced since 08/21/18 on a brand new Ford Taurus. As of 10/10/18 it still has not been replaced, repeated call to the service tech and service manager "sorry they are unavailable, we'll have them call you" I have not heard from them! read more

I have gotten an oil change from Rivertown Ford service department and now my car is leaking oil. I work alot so bring it back for something they didnt tighten on my car is a waste of my time especially when i still have to wait days to get it fixed. I really dont even want to take my car back to them to fix the problem because the person who i spoke on the phone to seem to not care and basically said "it was my fault because I kept driving it" and when i asked to speak to a supervisor supposely they didnt answer their line. I have a 2016 that I just gotten a year and a half ago and it shouldnt be any issues with my vehicle. Im highly upset!! read more
