    Joe Willie, the Acquisition Manager with Rivertown Ford, contacted me through Facebook marketplace and told me that he would pay 31k that day for my truck. I told him that as I was trying to buy my first house for my girlfriend and baby, I would take that (under 3k what I was asking for) to get my DTI down. He had me fill all the paperwork out (which I had to do while at work) and told me they would call to schedule a pickup. Once a pickup was scheduled, I took off and traveled 5 hours home (as I work out of town) to fill out the last signatures. Even sent me a picture of a check. Once the delivery folks arrived, they looked at the truck and said they would have to pass due to there being more damage than what they thought. This is after I paid $3k+ to pay down the loan to what they needed it. That was $3k I chose to scoot by without in order to better provide for my daughter in the long run, and $3k I could've used to make repairs to my vehicle. The pictures on Marketplace showed the damage and if asked I would have been more than willing to send more detailed pictures. I feel like I was completely led on and this was a very unproffessional way to go about this transaction. This experience was awful and I can guarentee Rivertown Ford will never get me or my family's business for as long as I live.

    I took my 2020 F-150 in for a routine oil change, tire rotation, and tune-up on May 13, 2023 and today(may 27th) I was working out in my garage and noticed one of my lug nuts are missing. It's not just any lug nut, it's the one that requires a special tool to remove. So there's only two people that can have that, myself and the dealership. No one has been around my property to mess with my vehicle because I have cameras and motion sensors so either the lug nut fell off after a couple days or it was deliberately left off during the tire rotation. Either way, that is very dangerous, especially driving on the highways and rugged roads in this city. This should NEVER happen. This has never happen the 20 years I've been driving cars or trucks. Imagine if my kids are in the back and The tire pops off while I'm driving. What happens next?

    Weird 3 of 6 lug nuts!!!  5 minutes after picking up my truck for an oil change and Tire Rotation

    So right now I am sitting on the side of the highway, waiting on hold. All because the Service department failed to put lug nuts back on my left rear tire! Luckily I noticed the truck was driving weird, and pulled over to only find 3 lug nuts on my tire! As I am typing this, I am still on hold! This is absolutely ridiculous. I DID bring all my vehicles to Rivertown for servicing and have bought 3 of my last vehicles from there, NEVER again! I will put 5,000 miles on my vehicle just to get the oil changed anywhere else in the Unite States of America before ever going back there!! Oh yeah still on hold, going on 30 minutes.... Don't worry Rivertown Ford I will sit on the side of the road unable to move my vehicle, be late to pick up my children. Because if your people are to busy to put my Lug Nuts on my truck, why would I think you would have time to answer the phone! So, finally got my wife to drive to the dealership while on hold. Still will never go to Rivertown Ford again. But MR. SCOTT CROMWELL THE SERVICE MANAGER WAS 100% ON TOP OF IT! WENT AND GOT THE TRUCK FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, GOT A RENTAL UNTIL MY TRUCK WAS FIXED! I KNOW MR. SCOTT HAS DONE EVERYTHING HE COULD! But, Still 100% ridiculous that I was missing lug nuts!

    The customer service I received at Ford was great. Chris and Chance were very friendly and attentive. I have a Chevrolet Camaro so tires for these cars can be a little pricey but I received a deal where I bought 3 Nitto tires and got 1 tire free. This deal saved me about $186 ($183 for the tire and $3 for the disposal fee). I was able to get 4 tires, mount and balance, and alignment for a little under $800. I was thankful Chance took the opportunity to educate me on my tire options because that saved me a lot of money as I decided not to buy BF Goodrich tires this time (which were only about $195). The service took about 1 hr and 30 mins to complete. This service was way better than the service I received at Son's Chevrolet when inquiring about the same services (Chevrolet wouldn't honor their price matching guarantee for tires). I don't have a Ford but needless to say they definitely earned my business!

Sarah was very straight with me and showed me vehicles that were "IN" my price range. She assured me that every quote she gave me was her best. It was easy to realize this after the amount of research that I had already done. Their prices truly were the best. The VW Jetta was beautiful. It was exactly how she described and my son was super excited. I told him to control his emotions because we were entering into the most difficult part of buying a car, the negotiating. After the test drive we came back to meet Sarah with the price sheets. To my surprise, they were exactly what we discussed and absolutely in my price range. The lesson of negotiating will have to wait. This deal was closed. AutoNation Honda team made this car buying experience a true joy by taking the frustrations and stress out of the process. Two weeks later I went to replace the cabin and engine air filters and noticed that the coolant was an inch below minimum. I checked the "routine service inspection" sheet and it was marked as "good". There was literally probably 5 ounces in the reservoir. This is, in fact, not good. Now I question if the entire inspection and service was a sham. To put the icing on the cake, they even tried to give me a cash offer on our vehicle by phone as I pulled out of the dealership. I'll most likely go elsewhere for service.

We were told the deal was approved and moved forward -- even test‑drove the car, and my daughter fell in love with it. After waiting about 30 minutes for paperwork, the salesman returned and said the dealership would no longer honor the numbers they had just agreed to. At that point, we walked out.     Predatory, Disrespectful, and Dishonest…read more I went to Rivertown Buick GMC with one simple goal: buy out my lease. What should have been a straightforward transaction turned into one of the most unprofessional and predatory dealership experiences I have ever had. They tacked on thousands of dollars in unnecessary fees, inflating the cost of the vehicle to over $3,000 more than it is actually worth. Fees were added with vague explanations, and every attempt to question them was brushed off or met with attitude. The worst part was the finance office. When we clearly and politely declined extended warranties, the finance employee became hostile. He threw a pen across the table, mocked us, and said, "What, you think the car will never break down? Or you'll never need to fix it?" Once it was clear we would not buy into their extended warranty upsell and he would not earn more commission, his demeanor completely changed. He treated us like garbage, would barely look at us, and rushed through the rest of the paperwork with clear resentment. To make matters worse, Rivertown Buick GMC charged us an additional and completely unnecessary $1,158.15 in TAVT tax, despite us clearly explaining that we are a military family, and that the vehicle was already titled and registered in Florida with no plans to change that. We made this clear from the beginning. They did not care and added the tax anyway. This dealership operates on pressure, intimidation, and misinformation. Once they realize you are an informed buyer who will not fall for warranty or fee scams, their customer service disappears entirely. If you value honesty, respect, or basic professionalism, avoid Rivertown Buick GMC at all costs. Buying out a lease should not feel like a battle, and no customer deserves to be mocked or disrespected for saying no.
