They show most of the same movies that Marcus does, but once in awhile they'll have something Marcus doesn't or they'll have more convenient showtimes. Ticket prices are a bit cheaper at West Bend Cinema and I think their leather chairs are more comfortable than what Marcus has. The building itself is in serious need of maintenance though. For example, part of the black frame around the movie screen in auditorium 5 was torn and you could see a large section of plywood behind it. Also, there were multiple buckets on the floor in the hallway to catch water that was leaking through the roof and the ceiling tiles above the buckets looked really crappy like this had been happening for a while. I hope ownership is able to fix things up so it can keep this place going as long as possible.

This is a combination of inconsiderate and messy guests (mostly) and staff so I gave this another try on Tuesday. Same deal. The workers behind the counter were hustling but there were only 2 of them. The guy that was perhaps supposed to be cleaning up was sitting on a weathered and torn couch by the exit on his phone. I'd love to support this local theater more but when I go to the bathroom and there's no papertowels, I'm out for good.

I was a little worried I would trip finding my seat. The movie started at time and played well and the volume was great! My biggest gripe was with the food. It took almost an hour to be brought to us and the only reason we got it was because my husband left the movie to ask about it. When we finally got it delivered it was freezing cold, which tells me it had been made a long time ago and they forgot about it and didn't bring it out. I didn't even eat the cheese curds because they were so cold they weren't good and they also did not bring my side of ranch. My chicken wings seemed like they had been in the fridge, though they were tasty. It's sort of an awkward situation in a movie theater because once you realize your food is cold or they forgot something, you would have to leave your seat and miss the movie to get it resolved, which is sometimes just not worth it. We got to see the movie, which was very fun, but the facilities at this particular theater are not quite as good as the other Marcus Theaters I have been to. The staff is all very friendly, though!

I'm far more accustomed to the rural drive-in movies with great furrows with hills to angle your car on, but this has a distinctive charm. Cars are free to park wherever they would like, though I'd recommend taller vehicles park farther from the screen for the sake of us smaller sedans. Inside the building, there are bathrooms and some arcade games. There's a concessions counter, but I brought my own snacks, so no need to look too closely. I did see posters for pizza! The "doors" opened at 6:30pm when the movie started closer to 9pm. We were the first in the pot when we showed up at 6:40pm, so we took a drive around the charming town to return closer to 7:30pm. Maybe half a dozen cars in the lot. There was even a puppy in the bed of the pick-up that parked next to us! The location: 40ish miles outside Green Bay 75ish miles outside Milwaukee 100ish miles outside Madison For those willing to make the drive out of the city, this drive-in is delightful. Located in a small town in Calumet County. The service: Quick and efficient! Pretty laid-back! The price: $6 for a double feature? Is there really a better deal than that? I was delighted. For this unique experience, we got our money's worth and more. Next time: I hope they show a classic flick, there's something delicious about 80s and older films at the drive-in. He purchased tickets well in advance. Staff was pleasant as they checked our tickets and took our concession order. Popcorn was yummy and who doesn't like a Coke Freestyle Machine? Our movie played in the "IMAX" which I think is just the largest screen available at the theater, it's definitely not an IMAX. I thought the picture was great, my husband felt it was a tad blurry. Sound was loud and enjoyable compared to home viewing. My rating falls due to the outdatedness of the theater itself. In the bathroom there were sinks and papertowel/soap dispensers not operational. The seats are "old school" as my husband put it... Plan to be sitting upright for however long your movie plus the pre movie ads/trailers go on. I guess I'm privileged in that I am now use to "dream lounger" seats and ample walkway space in each aisle. We sat in the middle section of the row, and lets just say if you have to get up to pee, every person will need to get up to accommodate. The floor was sticky. My husbands seat cushion was "broken" so he was particularly uncomfortable. Overall, AMC, please update this theater! It could use some TLC and I think with that, the location would have a resurgence of popularity as it is the only AMC in the area.

Fun times were had at this year's Strawberry Fest! We try our best to come each summer, and having…read moremissed it last year, we were excited to return. Make no mistake, this place is PACKED. Like jam packed. With tons of people yes, but also so many wonderful vendors, small businesses, pockets of live music, and more. The main strip has to span a mile long and there is plenty to enjoy along the way. We generally don't even try to park close, and instead a neighborhood or two away. There are paved sidewalks winding through so it's a nice walk. This year, there was a new addition to the fest that we were immensely appreciative of. The park adjacent the strip (aka all the main action) offered a full set up, that catered mostly to families and kids. Incredible and much needed! We came to the festival with a few other families, and while we would have loved to spend time shopping all the vendors like we used to, it's so tough to do that crowd with strollers and small humans would want to run around. So consider this a THANK YOU! The new park add-on was such a blast. They had a wonderful band playing on stage in the pavilion, plenty of food and drink trucks, face painting, a little train tractor kids can ride on, a bouncey house, a playground, so much grass space to run/picnic/park your strollers, and more! It was great to still feel part of the festival here. All of us - especially the kiddos - really enjoyed the day! Can't wait to return next year and support all of the great small businesses that make this festival happen.

Countless pinball machines and many other arcade games that remind me on my youth, we don't struggle to find games we like playing together. Don't sleep on the Cosmotron. Whether it's a spring break treat or a way to beat the summer heat, The Garcade is a must stop.

When…read morelooking at the website I was a little disappointed it was so expensive--$40 after taxes for a car load. You can have as many people in the car as there are seatbelts but there were just two of us. Their snack bar is now just candy and a few drinks, including beer. So if you wanted hot dogs or anything like that, you won't get it here. However, they let you bring outside food and drink--probably why they charge more. We made a huge batch of homemade butter popcorn, brought our own waters, candy, and jerky. The car next to us had brought in pizza and Chipotle, which I'd do next time. There are restrooms on the site and they were very clean and plenty of stalls (at least for women). The one thing I did NOT like aside from the price is that you have to use a radio to listen to the movie. I have a 2019 Subaru and my car battery almost died after leaving it on without the engine running for both movies. A couple people had cars that needed a jump. So either bring a handheld radio or bring jumper cables. We would come back again because we like older movies but it would be nice if they had newer movie options too.
