Just checked out this sports bar for the first time. I thought the place was okay as far as environment it had different games such as Dart or Billiard. Service was also not bad. For drinks I got the bluemoon which was good but the chips and salsa that we got as an appetizer were not good. We actually had originally ordered guacamole but apparently they were out of it so we asked for salsa instead. Overall not a bad place for games and socializing, however, I am not sure how the food quality compares considering the salsa that went with the chips was kind of sweet. read more

Had a welcome home party for my son returning from the Army. Rix was the perfect spot. We had about 25 guests, and Cheryl was amazing!!! They were pretty busy, but met our every need very quickly. Ordered pizzas, wings and mozzarella sticks. The food was so good and came out quickly. The homemade pizzas were delicious. We had so much fun playing the game machines and dart boards. They were very accommodating with letting us choose the tables and decorate for the party. They kept the beer buckets flowing and the shots coming. It was a great time!!! I definitely recommend Rix for your next party!!! read more

What a joke! Unless you're in the "dart league", don't expect to go there, and think you're gonna play a few games. They have several electronic dart boards, but apparently, they're only for the regulars. NOT ONCE did we have anyone ask us for a drink order. Had to go to the bar every time we wanted a beer. Never got a chance to try the tables, which looked nice, or the drinks, etc. I don't know if they serve food. The smoke smell was so offensive I couldn't get past the entry area. No way could I have eaten there. And as I turned to leave I notice they even have cigarette vending machines. I haven't seen those in 25 years. Very strange. Tucked away in a small shopping strip up norther The Colony. This would've been a really great spot if it wasn't for letting people smoke inside (it's really a great place, hence the 4 stars) it's 2915 and I didn't know people still smoke. When I first walk in it feels like walking into a great big garage, the open feeling and the walls and paint made it feel that way to me. Straight ahead is the dance floor/ stage area where most younger crowd gather to forget about the second hand smoke they're ingesting or contributing. It was karaoke night Fridays and I believe they have bands on Saturdays. To the right are rows and rows dart station( I don't know if that's what you call it) my memory is still foggy and I really can't think straight after the first big inhalation of nicotine laden stuff. Looks like they do dart tourney here. Bar area is very busy. It took a good 2/3minutes before we even got the wave from the bar tender letting us know she'll be there. We stayed for about 45minutes. All in all, it's a good neighborhood spot. The smoking inside threw me off but maybe their food will make up for one lost star. We will be back to do that. read more

Very good food and service. Probably the best that Disney has on property. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is very good and the Fish sandwich and Turkey Club are big and tasty. The food is worth the price. Rix Red Ale beer is ok. read more

I am extremely disappointed and pissed off at how my children were treated by Alexandra Morse (said she's the owner and general manager) my teenage children love this food bc I always come home with food from here for them. My son's ordered food from DoorDash and then called and spoke with someone who told the cook the way they want the sauce on their wings (30pc) over $60 worth of food they ordered. Food arrived not only missing 2 orders of wings but the wings had no sauce and the chicken was not freshly made, they drove to Rix's to have order corrected..Alexandra said she wasn't fixing the order bc she watched the cook send all the food out and that the wing sauce had absorbed on the thin paper that lines the container which I've never seen such thing! Rixs has always been a place I send ppl to and I go to when I have time however bc of this I will never spend a dollar again in this establishment because of how she made my children feel when it was only right to replace and correct the order! I been coming to this bar for 6yrs! Bartender/Waiter Johnathon is amazing has excellent customer service skills, he should be general manger or part owner because this lady will have Rix's out of business with this treatment to customers of 6yrs plus! Not to mention I've always tip very generous on the grounds of knowing what it's like to live/survive being a waiter. I'm so furious that I'm sure I will not stop here but I will get for how my 20yr old and 15yr old felt after leaving this place, feeling disrespected, treated unfairly, and ripped off! Good place for cheap drinks and some bar box pool. They have a lot of great drink specials.. Nice, safe environment, unlike the other bar in The Colony with billiards. So I finally made it to the only other bar in The Colony that I haven't been to yet. Ok, so there are only 3 but whatever! CJ's Restaurant and Club (as it says on the outside of the building) just sounds interesting because you don't know what you are going to get. Food? Bar? Club? What type of people? So exciting! So we walk in Saturday night to probably the deadest bar I have been to in a while...this is an anomaly according to the BF and the bartenders. It is huge inside! Many tables for sitting and eating, tons of dartboards everywhere, 5 pool tables, a huge dance floor, huge bar, even a back room with those crazy slot machine games. We got some brews and played some darts and then some pool. Apparently this place hosts tournaments for pool and darts all the time. They have a new internet jukebox for playing your favorite tunes (why the group of dudes playing pool played "Vogue" I have no idea...). This place has pretty much everything you need for a fun evening of bar sports. And and inexpensive evening at that....our tab for two pretty hard core drinkers, including mixed drinks and shots, was about $30. Patrons, when some finally showed up, were all over the board but friendly and chatty. We likely talked to most of the people there by the end of the evening. The two ladies working at the bar were also friendly. I guess not everyone was friendly though...two guys walked their tab and also stole the tip jars while we were there. So then the bar got a visit from the cops as well. Even they were friendly...one smiled at me on the way out. Hey, I do like a man in uniform! But then, what is this? At 9ish a DJ started up! Better step up the drinking at this point because you are totally going to want to dance! At least, that's what I did...nothing more awkward and more funny than dancing on an empty dance floor! Getting low low low low low low low in a mini skirt with your BF while drunk old dudes at the bar laugh at you is why bars like this are so dear to my heart. This place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. If you can get past the smell of smoke, this is an ok place to hang out. The bartenders are great and quick to serve drinks. They have live music on the weekends however the place is large enough that you can still have a decent conversation away from the stage area. It's a decent neighborhood bar for this area. read more

So, to start this place has a lot of potential to be a great bar. However, there are way too many people smoking to allow non-smokers to have any sort of positive experience. Even when someone makes a comment of the bad smoke to the bar tender even the patrons at the bar took a defensive stance and wanted to fight at the mention that the smoke was too much to bare. The bar tender was the same bar tender at Stan's lakeveiw. This place is much nicer than stan's from the bathrooms to the bar and facade. Once we spoke to the bar tender about the smoke the patrons of the bar became very defensive and wanted to fight over it. Very unpleasant experience. Could have the potential to be a very good place to hang out, eat and have a drink. This will not be a place we will return due to the smoke and the aggressive and un welcoming guests. read more

Very disappointed by the ownership of this basic joint to say the least. The local MC is a charitable organization that always tries to pack this place full of people of the past 10 years and now the owner is butthurt because after several declined advances on a new waitress/bar tender she starts to date a member. Used to have great wait staff and kitchen but over the past several months the owner has ran off all his good help with his crybaby spoiled I must have things my way right now attitude. Food is stuff you can pick up at the QT in the freezer and the under poured inflated bar tabs are getting outta hand. I understand it's your business and you want it ran a certain way but to expect things to happen automatically, treat people like you're better than them, serve sub par food/drinks and inflate the bill is just not the way I believe you should run a good business. read more

The service staff is great, and the management is very attentive to make sure that not only are the patrons taken care of, but in case they get a bit too tipsy, they go above and beyond making sure they are safe. I am a stickler about clean bathrooms, and the place is always clean.. not your typical dive at all. read more

My husband and I go to RIX nearly every Saturday night to shoot pool and dance on the new dance floor with fun light rigs. Nice wait staff, great music, good live acts when they have them, and Danny is a personable GM that cares whether or not patrons are having fun. Plenty of dart boards (we don't play but there are plenty), and the food is good, too. read more
