It was served warm and very fresh, with delicious cream cheese frosting. I ordered the Signature Egg Tart, and it was wonderful. It was rich and almost quiche-like, filled with lots of roasted vegetables, and the bright, acidic sauce balanced it really well. I honestly wouldn't have changed anything except maybe adding a little salt, but that may just be personal preference. I also enjoyed a cold brew while we sat out on the patio. The only downside was the construction noise from the large apartment buildings going up around the patio. That is obviously not the restaurant's fault, but it is something to be aware of if you're planning to sit outside right now. I had the Miller Farms Chicken Grain Bowl, which was a hearty mix of tender chicken, radishes, spinach and grains with a pear sauce. This is as a healthy and tasty option, but I was secretly coveting my husband's bacon and toast. My husband had the Farm Eggs Breakfast that came with Smoking Goose sausage and thick sliced bacon. The meats were delicious and perfectly cooked. He said the side salad with palm harts was spectacular. He talked about that salad the rest of the day. The newest Rize location and it is just as fabulous as the others. More intimate than the Fisher's location, not quite as cozy as the original at Ironworks, but it does have it's own flair. A very popular spot in Carmel. You definitely should make a reservation if going there on weekends especially. I made one so I only waited about 10 minutes until our table was ready, but I heard the hostess telling others without reservation that the wait is about 45 minutes. Once we were seated, we received attentive service from our server. I had a Mediterranean wrap with a side salad. Both were great, but it was like having two salads as the wrap had a lot of lettuce. (I should have done fries for the salad. ) I especially enjoyed the salad dressing, which was vinaigrette with a hint of maple. My friend sandwich looked great so I will try hot food items next time. We were here after the Carmel Farmer's Market on a Saturday at 10:30am. It was very busy, They asked if we had reservations. We didn't. We had a 20 min wait. I'd make reservations next time. Service was great. We started with a Chai tea latte, Strawberry smoothie and a peach mango unsweetened tea. The smoothie was $9. I think that's the most I've ever paid for a smoothie. It tasted very fresh. It was good. The tea is really good. I'd buy that by the gallon. My friend liked her latte. We had biscuits and gravy with one egg over easy, scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese on a croissant with a side salad and a griddled English muffin with butter and jam. Everything was very good. We did ask for extra sausage gravy. The eggs were perfectly cooked. It's a nice restaurant not far from the Farmers Market. There are two other locations. I recommend this place. My husband and I stopped in here for brunch yesterday and had such a lovely time. I love any excuse to go out for brunch and I picked RIZE because my husband has been to the Ironworks location for a work meeting before and said how great their food is and decided it was time I try them out as well! The location is super close to so many other restaurants, wineries, breweries, and shopping in Carmel so you can really make a day out of coming the area. Our server was incredibly friendly and checked on us often. He explained their concept to us since I had never been and gave has plenty of time to look over the menu. I love to have any combination of coffee, water, sparkling water, prosecco, mimosa, juice, etc during breakfast/brunch, so I ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice, a glass of prosecco, and a cup of coffee. They have almond milk as a creamer option, which I loved! Dairy, milk especially, really upsets my stomach and a lot of breakfast spots usually just have regular milk or half and half if they don't have the little individual creamers on the tables, so it was a nice touch. My husband also ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice and we both really enjoyed it. We decided to split one of their cinnamon rolls and OMG it is one of the best we've ever had. I would come back just for the cinnamon roll. I ordered the breakfast burrito and my husband ordered the chorizo skillet (very similar dishes) and the burrito was so big I was able to take 1/2 home and eat the rest this morning for breakfast (it reheated well!). I told my sister and friends how great our brunch was and now they all want to come in for a cinnamon roll. Our foodie group came to Rize Carmel for brunch one Sunday, and it was the best experience. I had been to the Rize Fishers and the Rize Ironworks for brunch, so I knew what to expect menu wise. We went at 9:30am on a Saturday and it was not busy (I know how busy brunch places get on Saturdays in Indiana so we went early). But, they also take reservations so that's a bonus! It was a first time in and they gave us a cinnamon roll to start. I ordered the Egg Tart (it's one of their recommendations) and also ordered the Crispy Potato Tottler. Both were delicious and I would definitely order it again. They have plenty of parking and the restaurant had a lot of seating and window (booth) seats as well - so whether it's a date or a group outing, I think they can accommodate it well. Everyone has been raving about Rize and after having ordered out I am wondering why it has taken me so long to eat here. This review is after ordering for take away. I shall leave a new review after dining in next time. :) The lady who answered and took my order was super nice and helpful, which I always appreciate because I usually have food questions, lol. I also ask questions usually to see what kind of management an establishment is under. This isn't always an accurate representation as new staff do occasionally go through training, but it's a pretty good starting point especially with nicer places. We arrived within 10 minutes of ordering and went inside to pay. Our food came out as soon as we were finished paying, so all in all I'd say from the start of the phone call to walking out with our food it was maybe 17-18 minutes, alotting for questions and answer time as well. As you can see this food is so fresh and colorful. It tastes even better than it looks! They pride themselves on a rotating seasonal menu focused on local ingredients. The service was great, the inside of the restaurant was really pretty and colorful and had great music but the breakfast burrito we got was kind of bland and dry. One of our favorite brunch spots gained a second location! Owned by the local Cunningham Restaurant Group, Rize opened in the Ironworks building a few years ago. This year, the Carmel location opened and offers a ton of indoor and outdoor seating in the sun. The hostess was very friendly and it was only a five minute wait on a Saturday around noon. We were sat in a cozy booth and started with a few smoothies. I then got the avocado toast and soup of the day (potato leek). The food was very fresh and delicious! The toast was super hard to eat though, with crispy bread that was really hard to cut, but also hard to pick up. The soup hit the spot, but tasted strongly of pepper.
