It's a regional 'chain' in 4 cities in the U.S. The inside (especially the line of small tables for two) reminded me of an egg carton. The lighting over the tables are oval shaped as an egg and the inner parts of the light resemble an egg yolk. Cute play on the theme. Our server was very friendly so that was a good start. I had the southwestern salad with buffalo chicken. It had corn and tortilla strips (which I left off), black beans, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and bleu cheese dressing. It was super fresh and very flavorful. The chicken actually had a good buffalo flavor which many claim to have but don't. We also tried the Nutella crepes with bananas, strawberries, whipped cream and Nutella. In addition to being very large, it had a great taste and was very fresh. Another hit for sure. The avocado toast with salmon was really good. The flavors were spot on and as with the other food, very fresh and well prepared. The brisket burger patty melt was also done perfectly. The brisket patty was a perfect medium and the onions were grilled just right. We opted for mayonnaise instead of the Thousand Island dressing it comes with. The other dressing may have been good but the mayo really paired well. Finally, the club sandwich was again prepared perfectly. Fresh meat, perfectly toasted bread (some places under toast and many over toast) - it was quite tasty. The French fries were fried so that they were crispy (but not overdone) on the outside but soft inside. I was a disappointed by this restaurant. For context, I got an egg white breakfast sandwich and they cooked the avocado into the egg and it was really disgusting. I also got a side of egg whites, but they were cooked in that butter spray and didn't taste fresh. The cheesy grits were OK but not very flavorful. So good if you like REAL scrambled eggs, the way they should be cooked. My dad (RIH) made the best eggs & these were on par to his making us the best weekend breakfast. I am a purist with my pancakes so I didn't jump for the many varieties they have. The plain pancakes were pretty good. The sausages are HUGE! Think brat size & texture. It's empty since it's 10:44 in the morning, so the problem wasn't that they were busy.. I ordered a well-toasted bagel with cream cheese and a side of bacon, along with well-done hash browns. Good luck with that. The bagel was not well toasted; the cream cheese was OK, and the bacon was OK. The hashbrowns were. There's a picture. I'll show you. They were not done not just not well done they were not cooked and they were cold . My husband also ordered well done hashbrowns his were burnt to a crisp crunchy like potato chips, which he ate, but certainly were not well done hashbrowns. I thought there might've been a language barrier between us and the waitress because she really was not accommodating or helpful there turned out to be no language, problem just attitude problem. My husband got a scramble with chorizo he called it average neither good nor bad except for the stupid hash browns, but you'll see a picture. I usually base a lot of choices on coffee options and was happy to see flavored creamers for drip and LOTS of specialty options for coffee lovers. We watched everyone's plates came out fast and fresh the entire time. We ordered the All Star and upgraded the cinnamon roll French toast for $3, which was absolutely amazing and worth it. We also got a half order of the red velvet French toast--just as good and perfectly done with fresh strawberries. The avocado toast was solid as well. Only small note: the capers were a nice touch, but pickled red onion instead of fresh chopped would've taken it over the top for more balance and brightness. I so miss this brunch place since I moved from Indy so I try to visit when I'm back in town. I was a little disappointed to learn that they just changed their menu to remove the red velvet French toast - my absolute favorite - but was overjoyed when they still had stuff for it in the back and I was able to get it one last time. I will definitely miss it in future visits but they're still got other great French toast and brunch food in general. I also always love their speciality coffees. I went with the rosemary molasses latte this time and it was so good. My partner got the breakfast burrito which was also a great dish and good to split with the sweetness of the French toast. I have seen these around for a few years and always wanted to go there and decided to do it for a special occasion today. It's a very cool place inside -very bright, oranges, yellows and whites very open, lots of seating and a big open kitchen area with bar that you can sit at and have your meal. We came for Sunday brunch menu. It was an excellent menu all kinds of great stuff the normal things like pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, skillets five egg omelettes. And then some very fancy things like strawberries and cream French toast, cinnamon bun French toast. We started with some coffee to drink. It was excellent. Then we moved on to the meal. I got French toast, my son got a skillet with protein and veggies, my wife got the cinnamon bun, French toast, and my daughter-in-law got the red velvet French toast. The cinnamon French toast was a couple pieces of French toast with some cream cheese and then an actual cinnamon bun in the middle of them. The red velvet French toast with strawberries had Red velvet French toast with cream cheese in between them and strawberries on top. They both looked great and they absolutely loved them. I also got some fried potatoes, which were very good. All in all the meal was excellent. Our server was great. He was very friendly. Kept coming back to check on us, filling up coffee and water. I got the protein & egg combo. It comes with a choice of pancakes, crepes, french toast or waffles. I upgraded the pancakes to chocolate chip for extra $2. This location is down the road from Lucas Oil Stadium and across the street from the Irsay Family YMCA to give you some landmarks. Looking over the menu and the pictures on Yelp they have a lot of good options. The fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious. The little waffles are so light and fluffy along with the glass bottle of pure maple syrup and the sausage links were good as well as the over medium egg. Two thumbs up!! You know, if restaurateurs really put some forward thinking into their operations, they would assume that most of their clientele, especially at a location like Yolk, deal with some sort of disability -- like me, with Parkinson's. So, I've become one of the region's most prolific delivery customers! Unfortunately, as a delivery customer, you can only make remarks about say, the tiny portions of potato sides, after the fact and not during. I understand that there's some wiggle room on the $50+ price for two burrito breakfasts (see associated photos), but hey, what are you really losing by providing another dozen or so potato cubes on my plate? C'mon, it's a bit of American Green on a breakfast plate!
