Came here for brunch this morning. We called ahead to see if there was a wait, as we were limited on time. Whoever answered the phone was very sweet and said "to come on in and see you soon". We were seated immediately without wait. We tried the regular mimosa (with a dash of oj), the citrus mimosa and the Rize and Shine. All were yummy. I ordered the Farmhouse Waffle and the crispy potato. OMG. They were both insane. I didn't finish it all, but I was stuffed and still wanted to eat the rest. The maple infused whipped cream is sooooo yummy and the potato is like deep fried hashbrown casserole. It was AMAZING. I had to have the server take my plate away before I finished it. My friend has been trying to get me to go to rize for months! She goes at least once a month and I just never got around to it. After going this weekend I can definitely see what all the hype is about! After deliberating which item to get on the menu I settled with the eggs Benedict (with regular bacon). We also saw on everyone's plates these crispy circular things, which we later found out were the potatoes. So we ordered that as our side instead of the rize salad. The eggs Benedict was delicious and the perfect amount of Hollandaise sauce. The potato was incredible on a top of cheesy gruyere sauce. My dad got the breakfast sandwich that was also topped in this delicious cheese sauce. I could eat that sauce by the spoonful! We wanted to try out the homemade pop tarts but were all stuffed from our main meals! I will definitely be coming back here again to try something new on the menu! read more

I visited with a group of four. We made a reservation for Friday morning brunch to ensure we didn't have any trouble getting seated promptly. I enjoy many restaurants in The Yard and was excited to try this Cunningham Group spot for the first time. Our server was quick and attentive, she knew her stuff! We got a few things to share: lemon crepe, potato waffle, and beet salad. We were full before our main items arrived and probably could've stopped with just the apps, but we were excited to try everything. I got the egg tart as my main. Everything had great flavor, my one and only complaint would be that our potato waffle came out a bit cold, but we loved the crispy shell and the cheese sauce it sat on. I also really enjoyed the egg tart. It was rich and creamy and the veggies were so fresh. Another highlight for me was the lavender honey syrup mimosa, so refreshing and a great balance of bubbly to syrup. I was really excited for the chicken hash because the images and description sounded savory and filling. I honestly would not recommend this dish nor order it again. I love a good runny yolk, but the egg white was also much too runny for most people's taste. The combination of the textures between the soft chicken, potato, and crunchy onion was not desirable. I ordered the Chicken Hash and my husband the Grilled Cheese and broccoli cheese soup. I wish my stomach was bigger because I wanted to finish the Chicken Hash. There's a hash cake underneath the creamy chicken and a duck egg cooked to perfection. There's so much more that I would like to try. The staff was nice and or server was very sweet. My wife and I ate breakfast here this morning. Nice place! Food is different than most places. I thought the recipes were good but execution wasn't. Cinnamon roll wasn't warm and eggs benny wasn't hot and eggs were very runny and skimpy on the Hollandaise. Their staff quickly replaced the items and removed them from our bill! My wife's egg sandwich was excellent. As we were checking out, a pipe in the ceiling dripped a large drop of water on my arm. They recently discovered the leak and a repair was scheduled. While I give the kitchen a B for their performance, the server and manager earned an A+ for their customer service. They earned another try to get it right in the future. The food was delicious! I had the fig toast, which was sweet and savory and soo good. It also came with a side, I chose the side salad. The salad had a light maple vinaigrette which was the perfect touch and had small onion shavings and radish. It was delicious. My husband got the chicken sandwich which was also very good. First time here. Coffee was as expected, nothing special. My companion got the mushroom toast. It looked pretty good. I got the chicken hash. It was Luke warm, which was disappointing. First thing first- the interior is cute, clean and the staff were friendly. My waitress was fast and always asked if things were ok which was much appreciated. I was also happy to be seated right when I walked in with no reservation (that's unheard of nowadays.) Let's talk food- this is definitely personal preference, but nothing beats traditional American breakfast for me, so I wasn't necessarily excited to see a menu of only a few traditional dishes. I decided to branch out and try their chicken hash and it was a good brunch/lunch dish. My only complaint is that the egg was not fully cooked and had a thick, clear layer on top which personally makes me gag- but no issue- I just pushed it off. Overall- it was just alright. I think I'll go back to try their farm egg breakfast, waffles or biscuits and gravy. I would recommend this place to others for sure! read more

The hot pop tart served with some whipped cream was so decadent. Will not order the avocado toast again. The bread was too hard and the dish lacked some acid or bright flavor. It was lovely to look at though. Husband had the biscuit which we both agreed was perfect and the grilled cheese which was large. He ate every bite. Also love the brussel sprout salad and all of the coffees that I've tried. Love the classic vanilla latte - iced or hot. My friend and I like to get together for brunch here and there and this has become the go-to spot for us.
