First time...I heard about this place a lot. So decided to give it a try. The host was lovely and very helpful. Our waitress was Lexa (think), she did amazing job. We sat outside due to it being a nice day. The waitress Recommend the chicken hash so my friend got that. No I wasn't a fan of the chicken hash but my friend she enjoyed it I just felt like the chicken wasn't hot and I didn't really like the sauce on it. I got the waffles which I absolutely loved I would say I was still hungry so I order some more things that are not pictured. I got the potato which was delicious and like to cheese sauce at the bottom made it even better we also got a pop tart which I felt like it kinda just taste like a cookie so it was okay. My friend also got the Cinnamon roll which she ate the next day and she absolutely loved it. I believe I got the strawberry mint mimosa it was good. Ate breakfast here with my daughter yesterday morning. The parking lot was packed so I pleasantly surprised when we were seated right away. My daughter enJoyed her scarambled eggs and bacon. I think this should be more like a 3.5 than 4 but I cant do half stars here. I went in for lunch and sat at the bar. Ordered a Cappuccino that was good. For lunch ordered the croissant sandwich that has an egg and sausage and cheddar. I liked it but I wish there was some other zing flavor in it - like a pesto or some kind a sauce ? The service was decent. I will try this place again but definitely will try something else next time. Was really looking forward to trying this place. We walked in and was told we had a 20 minute wait, my kids and I had to wash our hands before we ate. While walking through, we noticed about 3 tables needed busing so we assumed we would be seated sooner since they were available. As we returned from the bathrooms, we noticed they were still sitting without being cleaned. It was pretty busy, so that wasn't the issue, just the effectiveness of time management. We eventually did get seated and had a nice server, Colin, ordered for our children and drinks at the same time. Oddly, our kids waffles and brunch buffet came out before our drinks. Both kids meals satisfied our children, so that made it pretty smooth, but they were finished before we had received ours, and we both commented it was taking awhile for avocado toast and Benny burger w side salads. My husband was very happy w his Benny burger but he couldn't cut through the muffin w a knife and requested a steak knife after it went sliding off the plate. Luckily, it stayed together. My avocado toast was on a crispy bread that was hard and burnt on the bottoms. And sadly, I prefer a creamy avocado spread, and this was just sliced and smothered with toppings, most of which I didn't eat. It felt like we had been there longer than expected. As long as you don't have anything else to do, it won't be too big of a deal for you to sit and wait. They had other things on the menu I was interested in, so I will probably return and will revisit this post in hopes to edit. read more

On my way to this location, I actually drove passed the original Rize at Iron Works. I wondered how this new location, open about a week, would compare. In my opinion, this one is even better! The new Rize (a Cunningham Group restaurant) is located in the Fishers District (the "Yard") complex that is east of the interstate at 116th. Rize is towards the north end and has "nose-in" parking on two sides of the building. The entrance is on the east wall and is next to a fenced patio area that extends to the northeast. Inside, the stylish dining area is "L-shaped" which helps keep the noise level down. There seemed to be plenty of space between the tables offering bench and chair seating options. We were greeted and seated from the host stand and from our table, we could see the "pass" where food was reviewed before being sent out to the customers. After getting a cup of tasty and immediately drinkable coffee, I ordered a "Strata" while my wife went with the "Chicken Sandwich". The Strata is a layered dish consisting of Yukon Gold potatoes, egg custard, milk bread, and roasted mushrooms. It is cut into servings like a quiche. The tasty dish was enhanced with a layer of sliced ham on top and pickled onions for a tart/acidic layer of flavor. There was also hibiscus mustard, tomato jam, and cilantro pesto that added flavor and color to each bite. Highly recommended. Note that I also ordered a side of sausage (pork links) to go with the meal. Those were okay, maybe a little too lean to match the flavor of the main dish. My wife went with the Chicken Sandwich that comes served on a fantastic croissant (made by Chef Hattie McDaniel) that my wife said was just incredible on its own! The sauteed chicken comes with bacon, honey mustard, and sliced Gruyere cheese. It was a large sandwich, but she polished it off faster than I ate my dish! The sandwich comes with a side salad of mixed greens topped with a honey vinaigrette. My wife usually doesn't like "weeds", but she ate nearly all of it because of the dressing. And if you have ever been to the other Rize, you know that this place makes GIANT Cinnamon Rolls. We ordered one to go just before leaving so that it was still warm when we got home. We are still eating it the morning after! Service and staff were friendly and we never felt rushed during our visit. Coffee refills were timely, though my cup did run out for about a minute. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu items. We were able to have all our questions answered before ordering. Note that this is a high quality restaurant with multi-layered flavors. It is NOT a Denny's or Bob Evans-type all you can eat restaurant or buffet for small change. If you are concerned about affordability, check out the prices online before you go. But if you love going out to eat for food that you probably don't treat yourself to at home, come visit Rize for exceptionally prepared dishes that are delicious. Review #3331 read more

"Hipster" doesn't even begin to describe this place. Super trendy food choices and decor. Even the employees have super hipster names. They have lots of vegan and vegetarian options which is nice. I had the croissant sandwich and fruit cup. The fruit was actually good (strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, blueberries) and not one of those crappy apple, grapes and honeydew combos you find at most restaurants. Weekly Saturday morning breakfast with my daughter. Tried RIZE at The Yard in Fishers. EVERYTHING was so good! Started with a pomegranate mimosa & the RIZE & Shine Mocha...delish! I had the BLT with scrambled eggs & a side salad. The salad was dressed perfectly and complimented the open faced BLT very well (hooda thunkit, a salad at breakfast). My daughter ordered the Farmhouse waffle with maple butter & fruit. I bummed a forkful and it was quite tasty. Not overly sweet, nice crunch on the outside, airy & light on the inside. Mucho satisfied. We arrived around 9am & were seated promptly. The restaurant is roomier than it appears on the outside. We met 2 friends for brunch and had, as e or Ted, a wonderful time. Great food, excellent service and a beautiful day dining outside in the warm air and sunshine, we couldn't have asked for another thing! My husband and I split the potato waffle and the grilled cheese. Both were filled with wonderful flavor and the bread was awesome, light, thick and delicious, definitely homemade! The potato waffle was thick, very crisp and the egg and melted cheese was perfect! There was a spring salad lightly dressed, that included chopped radishes that were crunchy and a nice addition atop the waffle. Our friends had the waffle with whipped maple syrup and honey butter and that was almost completely eaten, and he said it was delicious! My girlfriend had the grilled cheese with tomato. She really liked the grilled mushrooms and spinach in the sandwich. The food was wonderful, the only complaint is the food wasn't hot, but we barely noticed because it was so good! Our waitress, Caroline, was excellent! She was on top of everything and our coffee cups were never empty! She was so helpful when helping us decide what to order, she was on par with everything! Another great weekend brunch provided by Rize! We previously visited the Ironworks location but chose to check out the Fishers location after church as it was only a few minutes away. After a brief wait at the counter we were taken to our seats and started off with two amazing Vanilla Lattes and Cinnamon Roll to split. We were thoroughly pleased with both items and suggest it be a great way to start or end your brunch. I got the Benny Burger simply because it looked amazing in pictures and all the ingredients were striking my fancy. It was very satisfying and filling and opted for the hash brown potato as the side with a large glass of fresh squeezed OJ (was fascinated by the machine used to make the juice behind the counter. I really wanted to love this place, as I live in Fishers and I have been very excited for the "Yard" to open and bring a new flair to the city, but it just did not live up to the lofty reviews for me. I was most excited for the cinnamon roll after reading reviews, but it was just not my style. The actual roll itself was cooked nicely, not over done, but the icing had an orange flavoring too it that was different than any cinnamon roll I've ever had. If you are trying it, I would recommend splitting it as a group as an appetizer, as it is large and very sweet to eat the whole thing. I was not a fan of the orange flavoring and found it over powering, but I could see why some people would like it. The rest of the meal was just okay, but I will say for such a new restaurant we had no problems at all with the service / wait times, which was very pleasant surprise and much appreciated. read more

We started with the cinnamon roll, what I loved, the icing was delicious the roll itself was crunchy on the outside when I wasn't a fan of a little dry until you get to the middle as well. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my husband went with the Benny burger. The eggs Benedict were lack luster to say the least. Wasn't a fan of it at all. It came with a side salad that was delicious. Saying that, I stayed clear of the Eggs Benny, because I did not enjoy it at the Ironworks, and instead opted for one of the toast that others, who enjoy Rize, recommend I try. My toast today was the Fig and it was better than it sounded with ham, cheese and for spread. The pine nut compote added a nice nutty balance that brings all the ingredients tougher. My only issue with the food is that my fruit bowl had a single moldy blueberry. For the first day open service was decent. The place was not busy, but I found my server Logan to be upbeat (but not annoyingly so) and efficient. She did a wonderful job at asking for my feedback as a Cunningham VIP. What a beautiful space! Having only been in the Ironworks Rize location, I was expecting a much smaller cafe. But the Fishers location is spacious and laid out beautifully. We settled in for a mid morning brunch. Everything was delicious. My daughter and I split a massive brioche cinnamon roll to start, and still had enough to bring home for two more people. I broke away from my usual Egg Tart order and tried the Mushroom Toast. It was delicious. Our servers were on the ball and kept our coffee warm and water filled, and our food arrived promptly.
