I brought 2 pairs of pants in for hemming, one of which I wanted for an upcoming trip. They said it would be a week and they would call me when they were ready. I ended up calling them and picked them up. After I got home, I decided to measure them. The one pair of pants was fine. The other pair had two different lengths, about 3/4 of an inch difference. I brought them back and they said they would fix it. When I went back and measured them again at the counter, they were both too long now and measured a 29 inch inseam. I tried them on in the store and the lady pinned them where I wanted them. They were quick to fix them but when I went back to get them, the man at the counter said that they were right the first time. I told him that they were not right the first time as they were two different lengths. If they were this far off with just a simple pair of pants, I would hesitate in having them alter anything important. read more

Great work! Rizo's was reccommended to me and I would reccommend them to anyone who ask me where they should take their clothing for alterations. I took my wedding dress to Norma and she did not disappoint. My stress and anxiety was so high after leaving as any bride would be. My wedding is in November and I needed it hemmed and taken in under the butt area and a bustle and Norma made it happen in just three weeks. I only had one fitting after the work and it was perfect. I was turned on to this place by my dry cleaner. It was a little bit of a hassle getting into the place. I was coming down Lake Underhill Rd. I walked in and I dont speak very good spanish but together we managed to figure out what my needs were. Very busy place but I guess thats a good thing. I had a suit that needed some fitting (sleeves and legs hemmed) and a pair of jeans. The lady recommended I get my jeans with an original hem. I had no clue what that meant but I went along. Some how they put the original bottom of my jeans back on the bottom but 2'' shorter. Never had jeans hemmed like that before, it looks a lot better than just cutting and foldng. Other than the language barrier and entrance issues it was quick and fairly priced. FYI its easier to get to coming off Semoran. I'll be back when I need their services. read more

I have been using Rizo's for alterations for years. There is a lady there named Norma who can do ANYTHING! Her work is impeccable......I like my clothes to fit well and often take things in or have blouses, tops, and dresses altered. I have never had a bad experience and the one time something did not come out exactly the way I wanted, there were no questions asked....it was simply redone to my liking for no additional charge. Do not bring your garments here. They have messed up my hem multiple times. Quoted me one amount, then told me a higher amount when I went to pick up my items. Basically, said oh well if you want your items you have to pay the higher amount. I will never do business here again. read more
