My daughter has had a blanket since she was a baby that was falling apart due to age. I took it to Le's to see if she could fix it up. She said it wouldn't be the same as new, which I was fine with. While on a trip to Orlando to attend a wedding, I had a horrible discovery that my suit trousers are not fitting my waistline thanks to this Covid era that has had us locked in for over a year now. As I frantically searched for a nearby Tailor I saw this business pop up on yelp, so decided to give them a call. The lady at the phone explained that she can get it done in the next hour and it would only cost me $15 which coming from the northeast was quite a break. Luckily this place was only a 10 minute drive . The ladies behind the counter were extremely pleasant as we joked around about my waistline they asked me to give them 30 minutes and the trousers would be ready. Since I didn't have much time I didn't even try the trousers and just eyeballed and asked them to relax it by an inch. They both looked at me a bit suspiciously and said let us decide how much to relax. When I came back half an hour later The trousers were ready and in trying them I found out that they were a perfect fit I asked them how much did they open the waost to which the courtesyly denied to share and left me walking out a very satisfied customer. I've been coming here for 15+ years. I have had nothing but stunning service and continue to drive here despite not living anywhere near here. It all started one evening many years ago when I was young and dumb. My buddy was getting married and money was tight. I was just going to wear an older suit, but it really wasn't in the best shape. Dillard's at Florida Mall had a big suit sale and I came up with enough money to buy a new one. I had waited so long that I was leaving the following day and it wasn't tailored. The salesman said "We can't turn it around that quick. You need to go see Le in the parking lot." This sounded odd, but he explained it was an out-building facing OBT. He gave me a card and sent me on my way. I went in and they were about an hour from closing. I begged. I pleaded. She told me "NO WORRIES" and marked up my suit. She said to come by the next morning and it would be ready. It WAS ready. I picked it up and hopped on the Turnpike to drive to the wedding! AMAZING. The best part is how many people complimented my suit and how perfectly it fit. Ever since that moment of kindness and excellent work, Le's has received all of my tailoring. She does all of my wife's (who wasn't in the picture back in the day!) tailoring as well. I've met most of the family over the years. A few sisters, nieces, and aunties have come/gone. I've known Le's for many years, I have supported her business for the longest time. On this occasion, very recently my wife had some drapes she needed worked on and I recommended Le's because I've known her for almost 25 years plus, I'm in the limousine business and we did her wedding and gave her two(2) limousines for almost nothing because I've known her for such a long time. So got to her place of business asked her if she could take care of the drapes she said yes, she gave me a price which I did not object to paying. She gave me a date to pick them up. I went to get the drapes everything was fine, I told her we have more drapes for her to take care of she was okay with it. The day my wife and I went to drop off the the next set of drapes, we were met with a very hostile behavior from Lee which caught us off guard, to the point of not allowing her to do the drapes. Apparently, she wanted to charge us more for the drapes but didn't know how to, because she charged us 1 price and didn't know how to charge us more money for the new drapes and she became off very hostile toward my wife and myself in front of other customers because she didn't know how to explain herself. This behavior caught us off guard and for this reason after 25 years of knowing this lady I will never support her business again. Very displeased with this behavior, she deserves 0 stars. read more

Best tailor ever! I had lost a few pounds and had some pretty expensive sports coats that were way to big, so decided to try Le's based on the other outstanding reviews. They are true artists. You can not beat the price, turnaround time, or quality of work that they do here. I paid $60 for 2 jackets to be taken in. They now look like they were custom made to fit me. I saw so many great reviews of Le's Alterations that I had to try there as my 1st choice. Reminder .. as everyone else says .. No Cards! CASH ONLY .. other then that, you will have no problems! I am thrilled to have used Le's Alterations! The event I did was, to me, just as important as a wedding! I was given tickets to a huge concert with all the perks of backstage, meeting the people, front row bar seats, etc .. all the best. I bought a white zoot suit from a place in California and had it shipped over to Orlando. This suit used to be the hippest and best back in the day ... I knew Paula Abdul loved the style so I chose it for her... yes, for her, along with the pink, her fav color .. lol!! Anyway, the first suit sent to me was the wrong size ... after giving them my measurements, they sent what was supposed to fit. I went to Le's and we found that it wouldn't fit properly. Le measured me to exact numbers and knew what size to tell them. After a few weeks, yes, I do things early, I received another. This was good. Le did the quick alterations and fit the suit exactly to me. She did great alterations, and her service was nothing short of the best. I will go to Le for everything now ... I used to let jeans go, being short, I just let them hang. Le's Alterations made my life so much better. I got married last year, and I was trying desperately not to end up spending thousands of dollars on things that shouldn't require that amount of money to get them done/purchased. Unfortunately, for most people, the second you admit it's for a wedding, is the second their cheapest price gets jacked up at least 500%. So I was not going to have my wedding dress altered at a wedding dress shop, where they automatically take over 6 weeks and charge hundreds of dollars. The Men's Warehouse seamstress recommended Le's alterations to me because her sister owns it, and she works there part time as well. I go in, and my friend informs her it's my wedding dress, and I could've smacked her because I was just waiting for the outrageous estimate. Ms. Le has me put on the dress, pins in the bust, convinces me to put in big cups in the front, and then gives me the price. I was genuinely hoping for a quote as cheap as $125. It was $35. The dress came out *gorgeously,* fit me like a glove, I was complimented on it all night, and Ms. Le is my seamstress for life. read more

I had to go totally out of my way to get to Le's, but it was well worth it! I had yet to find a great tailor in Orlando and I've lived here for two years. The clothes that I get altered are expensive and I want to make sure I am using an tailor that knows what he or she is doing. I have used Hung's downtown before, but it seems that they're too pricey and a bit too slow. I found Le's on here, so I decided to give her a shot. Unfortunately I waited until the last possible minute before leaving on vacation to get my new jeans altered. It also happens to be Labor Day, so I called before I drove the 15 miles to get to Le's. She said she'd be open until 1 pm so if I hurried she could have them done in 20 minutes. I arrived, tried on my pants, she marked them and got started. Both ladies were incredibly friendly. The owner says she gets a lot of business from Yelp but wasn't sure what Yelp was. I read her the two existing reviews and she was tickled pink and so happy people enjoy her services. It also helps because she says she does absolutely no advertising. The only downside to Le's is that they don't have a credit/debit card machine, but by the time I ran to Walgreen's to get cash ($20 for two pair) she had them completed. She even matched the original stitching! It will be well worth your while to drive to Le's to get fast, easy and inexpensive alterations completed! read more

I've had some really good experiences with tailors, and some pretty poor ones. Le's definitely fell on the "great" side of the scale :) I'm going to be a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding, and needed to have my dress tailored. I called one morning to set up a time to come in that afternoon, and was told that I could just drop by, no problem. That afternoon I brought the dress in and had it fitted quickly and easily. It was a double layer dress, and I needed to have both of the sides taken in from the hips through the chest. It was $35 (as others have mentioned, cash only), and I was able to come by and pick it up 9 days later. I could not be happier with the result! Le did a very precise job, not only making sure that the dress fits exactly as it was meant to, but also ensuring that the seams are equal on both sides of the dress. She was also so kind, which I haven't always found in a tailor. Overall, great work and a pleasant experience--I will certainly be returning when I need something tailored next! read more

Worst tailor experience I've ever encountered. Brought 2 designer dresses (1 couture) based other Yelp reviews. They needed only to be taken in at the waist. She told me 2 weeks. I called at 2 weeks & she said they were both ready. When we arrived, she had not even touched either one. She quickly ran to the back & put 1 (ONE) large stitch of very black thread in my light blue dress, which was, by the way, uneven. Thank God she didn't touch the couture & I demanded it immediately. I came in to pick up my uniform skirt and pants. Both had problems. The skirt had to be taken in more on one side and that same side had a curve 'in' at the bottom. I'm worried my new skirt is ruined. The pants were not hemmed evenly one leg was longer than the other. A fellow customer even said they were uneven when the seamstress said they were fine! I came in later to try my uniform pants on with a new pair of shoes. The seamstress insulted my taste in shoes! She then wouldn't point out where they were going to hem the pants to, saying she was closing. I had waited 15 minutes for another customer to wrap up. The seamstress (not Lee) yelled at me. I reminded her that I was the customer and I was the one who should be mad for the poor workmanship.(I had actually been really nice about the mess up). After this, never again. I am paying for poor work and I wanted to cry from her mistreatment of me in the car. Before I left, I even asked her if I should take my items elsewhere since she didn't like me. She said she wouldn't touch my stuff and Le would work on them Monday. I will give another update on how the items finally turn out. 8/13/14 Although my skirt was not ruined, I cannot find it in myself to change the rating. The hem on my pant had to be redone twice. I cannot in good conscience send anyone here. Although Le was a wonderful woman, the treatment of me by her sister is inexcusable and unacceptable in a business environment and I cannot risk a referral on the chance the same bad treatment would land on you. read more

Ms. Le did absolutely wonderful on my wedding gown!!! David's Bridal quoted me well over $600 to alter my wedding dress, but she charged less than $280 !!! The word needed to be done about 10 days before the wedding, so I was extremely nervous. She hemmed the dress, changed the size, created a bustle, sewed on a crystal sash, and even sewed my bra to make it a different size! I bought a dress and a pair of pants online, which unfortunately did not accept returns or exchanges. The pants were long, and the dress was a size too big. I bought the dress and pants at a very discounted price, so I was okay with paying money to get them altered. The price was absolutely wonderful! To have the dress hemmed and taken in was more than half the price I paid for the same type of alterations for a bridesmaid dress I had done a few months earlier. I've had two things fixed/ alternated here and both took about a week which was reasonable. The prices is fair and the lady is honest about her work. I had wanted to add belt strap onto one of my (legging/ stretchy yoga pants) pants and instead of going along and making a few extra dollars by agreeing with me, she told me honestly that it wouldn't be a good idea for the material.
