They have low prices but do not be tricked. They offer poor service. They messed up some expensive clothes I had by making one pant leg 1/2 inch shorter. Staff knows no English so it's hard to communicate with them. I had several pieces tailored and wasn't very happy. They gave me all my clothes very wrinkled so I had to go to a dry cleaner afterwards. The owner refused to pay me $$ he owned me after I mentioned posting a review. Go elsewhere. read more

I gave Rosa's a try since they had so many positive reviews and a short drive for me. I was completely disappointed when my brand new work pants were returned with uneven hemming with parts significantly much shorter than the rest. Since it had already been trimmed, it could not be fixed. Now I have to spend another $60 to replace the pants and find a different tailor. I gave up trying to get a refund from this place as we had difficulty communicating, the staff was argumentative, and somehow the manager was never available even when I called when the staff said he/she would be in. read more

I can't believe this place gets a five star review. My young employee brought a smock there to get her name and title embroidered on the right lapel. We provided a sample mock for her to copy and she failed miserably. She spelled her name wrong. The font did not match, the stitching was almost illegible, it was half unraveled and instead of being 6 inches off the shoulder it was 12 inches off the shoulder (you can imagine where that placed her name tag). And it was crooked! The older Hispanic woman at the counter was extremely rude and kept pointing her finger in my young employee's face. She kept demanding that she pay $30 for her work. She demanded that she would just "make the letters off" because honestly there was no way to fix it and that was her only solution. The employees shirt is ruined because if the letters are removed and placed in the correct spot there will be a scar from the current stitching. Now this young lady has to spend another $30 to buy another smock to have a embroidered somewhere else. We did not pay, we left with the smock, if the owner, Manuel, has a problem with that, he can call me. I left my phone number with the rude inept woman at the counter It took 3 weeks to get this shit job stitched. Just so you know the shop by Pom-Pom Sandwicheria takes about 4 days and cost about $7.50 and it's perfect. I will post pics soon! read more

I had a simple fix for a missing button and broken zipper, but my dumb @ss cant sew. Both were patched right up within 2 days. Tbh the newly sewn button is sturdier than how the garment came from the manufacturer haha. Thank you! read more

I am so disappointed with how my dress turned out. I came here because of the rave reviews and my dress looks terrible. The buttons on the neckline of the dress are off to the side and not in the center like they were prior to being altered. The inner layer is longer than the outer layer! The layers should have been altered separately and not together as one unit. When I attempted to tell her about it she kept saying I needed to move my dress down. She wasn't receptive to my feedback. I paid 70 dollars and it was not worth it at all. Sadly, I will NEVER return here. If you do decide to go be very specific. I wasn't offered a resolution to this and would love a refund. read more

I cannot recommend this place for alterations. I took in a pair of jeans in which I needed the zipper replaced and the jeans hemmed with the original hem, a pair of work pants to be taken in, and a skirt to be taken in. Upon initial pick up I quickly glanced at my items and noticed a small hole in the bottom of my jeans and thought the hem looked a little off. As soon as I got home I looked closer at my items and noticed the hem of the jeans was not just a little off but was completely crooked and the work pants had excess fabric where they had been taken in. I went back to the shop and talked to the owners who said they would try to fix it. I just picked up my items and noticed that yet again the hem of the jeans, although slightly straighter, is still crooked. I found the work pants acceptable due to the fixes that were made. Based on this experience I would not return. I'm giving two stars for their attempt to fix their poor work, but honestly wish I had never brought my items here since even with a second attempt it still wasn't quite right. read more

Affordable & good work! I had never had alterations done before and needed an evening gown shortened within a couple days- I brought it to Rosa's and WOW! The hemline is perfect! This dress is very unique and has a tricky hem but their stitching is absolutely perfect. The women I worked with did not speak English well, so we just worked by signals and smiles..but they know what they're doing. I will definitely go back again! read more
