They screwed my order! Ordered 2 Gyro pita with all the condiments via Door Dash. My order arrived and my pita were dead dry. No sauce, no tomatoes, no lettuce. I looked back at my receipt maybe I selected no condents, it was clear on the receipt that my order were regular Gyro pitas. There's another paper behind my receipt that wrote 0 sauce, 0 tomatoes, 0 lettuce. Whoever you are, pay attention to your work. This greek place is hidden in a strip mall. The interior is large and clean. I ordered souvlaki with pitas bread, mac & cheese, and coleslaw with a glass of lemonade. Although the person at the register was the only one waiting tables, she did a great job of keeping up with things. The souvlaki was a bit dry but the flavor was good and they gave you plenty. It was $12.50 for that and 2 sides. I had to take some of it home. The pita bread was excellent and had a great flavor. The mac & cheese was also very good. I really liked the coleslaw. It tasted and looked exactly like the coleslaw you get at Kentucky Fried Chicken. I would definately come back. read more

I've been visiting both Nishie G's locations for years. There's a very laid back, familial, American diner feel that I enjoy and appreciate. My visits have always ended with great service and great food each and every time. No exceptions! Nishie G's has a nicely varied menu specializing in American and Mediatranean cuisine. This is no frills American casual dining at some of its best in the Rock Hill area. Sure, food is served on disposable plates with disposable silverware, but if you're so pretentious, like many other reviewers, that your focus is on this and not the great food served here, then you're absolutely missing the point all together. What Nishie G's may not have in the way of perceived frills, they do make up for with great, fast, friendly service and awesome, fairly priced and portioned food in a very clean and well kept restaurant environment. Niecy G is not like it used to be when they had two locations at the time they had two locations. They had a better well rounded staff. You didn't have young girls giggling every time someone comes in giggling behind the counter at all times their system of ordering online is for the birds if birds were intelligent to use their damn system in first place I do not recommend this place. The food is horrible. I mean horrible the staff there a bunch of teenagers that are more interested in partying and giggling then and actually serving their customers which major majority of their customers or older adults who would rather come and find hopefully decent food to eat, but I don't recommend the CG's. I don't recommend this place for anybody that is hungry if you're starving, you better off going to a fast food restaurant at least you get your food within a couple minutes better yet take the time go to the grocery store buy the ingredients and make your own meals CG yeah it's not good. After leaving my doctor appointment around noon Tuesday December 6th I did a Google search. I was looking to get a bite to eat for dinner. This restaurant came up on the list. It was nearby my area. It was my first time being there. I ordered the Salisbury steak and my two choices for vegetables was the fried squash and the fried okra. After about 15 minutes or so I got my order. The first thing I noticed that it was on a paper plate with plastic utensils. The second thing I noticed Is that the squash was over cooked and dry and so was the okra. The small pieces of okra with a large portion of it was burnt. The burnt pieces reminded me of what you see when you overcook popcorn in the microwave in a bag. I dipped the squash in ranch dressing which made it somewhat edible. I picked through the burnt okra and ate some of it. The Salisbury steak was okay. About an hour after I left this restaurant I went to a Goodwill store and my stomach started cramping up. I got extremely ill and had a bad case of diarrhea all day! I do not think I will never come back to this restaurant again. read more

I'm disappointed in myself for only just trying this place recently- but had two more times in quick succession afterwards. This place is everything you'd want it to be. The portions are large and the value is there. There are a ton of choices on flavorful sides. I myself love the fried popcorn shrimp and chicken platter. I can get a ton of different tastes between the sauces and the sides that I pick. I have yet to go during breakfast but I am very happy that they have outdoor seating that allows my dog. I love diners but between a dog and COVID, I have not been able to enjoy them like I used to. I am officially a long-term customer and will be updating with pictures! Met the inlaws here for a birthday brunch and I've heard locals speak of this place more than once. We went about 1030am and it was plenty busy. We were seated right away with our party of 7 and a waitress took our drink order while another waitress went to hunt menus for us. The breakfast menu included many options, most (if not all) under $10. I chose the short stack with bacon and scrambled eggs and the hubby got a livermush omelet with hash browns and toast. My pancakes were as big as the Styrofoam plate they were served on and you receive 2 with an order. They were huge and pretty good, though I only ate one. The bacon was good, four slices which I shared with the hubby and the eggs were just ok, lacking any salt at all I believe and just bland (to be fair we have backyard chickens and I'm a bit picky nowadays). I think my meal was just under $7 and for the portion size a good deal. Just not knock my socks off good sadly. Hubby liked the fact that the livermush was chopped and then added to the omelet and said he would get it again. The hash browns were not shredded, not cubed, almost half mashed and not crispy or really even warm. I LOVE hash browns, but these were just not so good. Two basic pieces of toast and butter and jelly packets are on each table. Others ordered biscuit sandwiches, Philly cheeses teak omelets and just scrambled eggs. Everyone else had been here before and seemed pleased with their choices. Our waitresses were all nice, though confusing to decide who to motion to if you needed someone because there were multiple waited on us. You pay at the front desk and leave a tip there, so I guess they sort it out behind the scenes. I won't choose this as a breakfast spot if it's on my own, but I'd like to try their lunch or supper options one day (but not Saturday because they close at lunchtime) I'm willing to try again if with a group, and maybe it was just an off day, but with many other local spot a to choose from, I'll be picky about returning! read more

After 15 minutes I was growing impatient, realized that the table across from me had not received their meal yet and had even ordered before I'd arrived. Pulled out my phone to see what other reviewers had said on YELP and VOILA! Breakfast arrived! I first read about this place back in Dec 2015 when I scheduling my trip south to FL for new years. It is kinda hidden in a small strip mall, smallish sign but food was unbelievable. I tried the chicken pita with the cucumber yogurt sauce, it was epic, wonderful flavors, pita was great, chicken perfectly grilled. They have plenty of sides, all sounded good, but on recommendation from one of the hostesses: I got baked beans, mac & cheese, and hush puppies. Went here for breakfast and it was very nice. The place was packed on a Saturday morning, but we were able to get a seat relatively quickly (5 minutes). I ordered a biscuit with egg and sausage, with a side of hash browns. All very tasty. The hash browns were different than any i've ever had. They were in a bowl and sort of chunky. But very good, not all greased up with butter. The biscuit/egg was very large. My daughter had a waffle with bacon on the side, also very good. The service was fast and our waitress was very nice. This is a solid place to grab breakfast in Rockhill. My young girls were wanting McDonald's, which I couldn't bear to go to. So, Yelper's helped me out with this very nice breakfast. read more

I came to this location for a school fundraiser so this was my introduction to this restaurant. I ordered some fried squash and some of their french fries because I wasn't terribly hungry. Their fried squash was unbelievable and the way they cut their fries is exactly the way I love them. They even have baklava for dessert - - this always makes big points on my scoreboard. I like the fact that they have outdoor seating, and it's definitely a family friendly environment. I appreciate the fact that they do fundraisers to help the community that they live in. I called and placed an order to go and 10 min later went down to pick it up and they didn't have my order so they preceded to call the "other location" and I accidently called the wrong number on their website. so I asked if they would please cancel my order and make it for me her in Rock Hill and they refused to make my lunch and said I had to go pick it up at the other location. Needless to say I didn't and will never ever go there again. All of the girls in my office have had some kind of confrontation with them as well. read more
