There was about a 30-minute wait for outdoor seating on a Saturday, but they got us seated inside quickly--which we really appreciated. The space itself is on the smaller side, but the energy? Big. The service was attentive from start to finish--I never once felt overlooked. We ordered the large vegetarian and meat pizzas, and both were absolutely delicious. If you prefer a crispier crust, I'd suggest ordering it well done--but either way, the flavor is on point. If you can grab outdoor seating on a Saturday, it's a bonus with the surrounding live music adding to the vibe. Being from NY I did not have high expectations. I assumed it would be decent pizza, as the wait was 45 mins on a busy Friday night. We lucked out and found 2 seats at the bar! Bingo! The pizza....was amazing! Like I'd put it in my top 10! We had the Sardinia pie....the meatballs and sausage were great, add ricotta...now it's a winner. That crust! I'm still dreaming of it. Honestly, the vibe of the place was so fun! And the wait staff were amazing. But the food? Just ok. To the point where I'm not sure I would ever go back. We had the vegetarian pizza that was beyond bland with no enough sauce, undercooked eggplant and WAY too many of those plasticy black olives. I barely saw the green peppers. Also ordered the Caesar salad that was also beyond bland. Needed a ton of salt and lemon to give it a boost. Sucks that the place is so vibrant but the food is so bland. read more

My go to for wood fire pizza! The wait staff for to go are always friendly and offer water while you wait. My second time ordering take out. We had an event this afternoon and one of our friends brought a few pizzas from Fireside. I couldn't believe how poor they were. One had veggies, the other plain. Each were so thin, I could roll a cigarette with them. The toppings sucked, especially the green pepper. No flavor, the crust was bland and had no char on the bottom. It was a floppy mess. Underwhelming. Looked like a popular place for pizza and Italian food so we stopped in. 35 minute wait so we headed to the bar for a drink. If you're a local/regular the bar tender is friendly and attentive. For a visitor, she made us wait and then gave us an attitude when asked for a wine list. With the wait, we decided to change from pizza to entrees. While the eggplant parmigiana was a nice portion, it was soggy and bland. The sauce tasted like plain tomato sauce/paste without any seasonings. I decided it wasn't worth finishing. My wife and I talked about going back to try the pizza since it's close to our rental but then Papa John's delivers. read more

They did upcharge me for the white sauce, which feels annoying considering it's just a swap (not an addition) but I digress, it was delicious! My husband is dairy-free and was able to have the gluten free pizza crust as an option. They also informed us that they don't use any nut oils on the premises. If you order the caesar, I recommend asking for more dressing as it was a little dry. Overall a great experience and we'll definitely be back! read more

So we went on the recommendation of a friend and the food didn't disappoint. For starters we ordered cheese curds, garlic knots and cheesy garlic bread strips all of which were delicious. If you love garlic then these wont disappoint. Heavy on the garlic but in a good way. Salads were fresh and crispy. The wings are baked in the pizza oven over a bed of onions at 700 degrees and were very tasty. You can use the onions on your pizza if you like that kind of stuff (my wife does, I don't). Lastly we ordered pizzas. I had the traditional pepperoni and the wife had the goat cheese pizza. Again, not disappointed at all. The service was spot on. The drinks were never empty and we felt like we were always on their radar. Overall great experience. I would recommend even if there is a wait as it is worth it. read more

So a bunch of the dad's brought our boys out here for a guy's fishing trip. We had tried a different pizza joint in Ozona that was more expensive and the pizza tasted like cardboard. So the kids still wanted pizza and I decided that we should give this place a try. Man talk about a night and day difference. The other place was completely empty and this place had a line out the door. The others pizza tasted like cardboard and this place actually had really good pizza. This local and tasty restaurant is Covid compliant, and very welcoming. Our server Sherry was exceptionally friendly and patient with us as we were trying to narrow down all of our choices from the variety of selections.
