The owner made everything from scratch and even gave us a sample of the mozzarella cheese to try. It was out of this world. He was kind and showed us everything he had to offer. The fact that he opens at 5pm gives him enough time to prep everything so the food is on point every time. We will be going back to try the pizza and wings next. Five stars for sure. read more

So I've been going to the smoke shop in the same shopping center for over a year and I barely ever see anybody inside this restaurant. I was Larry to try it but really in the mood for a pizza and I am so glad I did. Everything is homemade, dough, sauce. The toppings were a little bit pricey but definitely plentiful. I cannot believe how amazing this pizza was. The cheese which the owner raved about a few times lol Was thick and flavorful. The owner had a lot of energy and kept on showing me different things on the menu that they serve that are homemade and really just a little bit different from the norm. I also ended up getting a large order of dolmades and their homemade tzatziki that was to die for. I almost went back two days later, but I'm trying to control myself. First time, LAST TIME!!! I was excited to find a restaurant that's open all night! Zein's Pizza Wings and Subs advertises your typical Italian fair plus burgers and wings. Around 11:30 pm I called and ordered spaghetti and MEAT SAUCE. The voice on the phone told me 10-15 minutes for pick-up. I left and got there right on time, the guy inside told me another 15-20 MINUTES!!! ...and please wait outside! Fine. Covid 19 Info---- No sit down seating. Customers are asked to wait outside of the building while they wait for their food as of June, 11, 2021. Employees do not wear masks. I was offered a communal pen to sign my receipt which clearly had not been disinfected. I sat in my car until 12:07 then I went in and they were just putting the lid on my spaghetti. The pasta comes in one of the aluminum foil pans with a cardboard lid. After I paid (almost $13.00!!!) the guy just hands me the steaming hot pan, no bag or anything! The damn thing was burning my hands as I walked out to my car. I get home 5 minutes later, get undressed, flip-on the T.V. and open the spaghetti. First off, it has meatballs, I ORDERED NO MEATBALLS, I WANTED MEAT SAUCE! Secondly, it had ALMOST NO SAUCE ON THE SPAGHETTI!!! (see photo) The noodles on top were barley stained orange from the tiny amount of sauce they gave me and the noodles on the bottom were literally still white, DRY AND FLAVORLESS!!! The sauce is what gives pasta flavor!!!, OR NOT!!! I called Zein's Pizza Wings and Subs back and told them what was wrong and after 5 minutes the guy came back to the phone and said "It must have been a mis-communication, you come back and we will make you another order." WTF??? I'm supposed to get dressed again, lock-up the house, walk down to my car, drive back down to Zein's Pizza Wings and Subs, pick-up another order and then drive back home again BECAUSE THEY HAD A MIS-COMMUNICATION!!! NO!!! I ate 4-5 bites of this dreadful spaghetti, (the tiny amount of sauce they did give me had a strange taste to it) and threw the rest away. Ordered here for the first time late on a Saturday night. I got the chicken kabab, normally served with rice. Unfortunately they were out of rice and had to replace it with spaghetti instead. The chicken was very good, decent amount per kabab (you get 2). The sauce they give you on the side as well as this sort of "ceviche" style tomato and onion salad was pretty good as well. However the spaghetti was not very good at all. Tasteless, good amount, but just very bland and unsatisfying. Had to drown in in parmesan cheese (that I had at my house luckily since none was provided) just to get it down. I would probably give this meal another try, but only if the rice is available. I will definitely not be ordering any type of pasta dish from here. Curious about the pizza though so I might give that a try as well. George and his family are amazing, so sweet and caring. Pizza was barely cooked which I usually tell them crispy, but being I never tried this pizza joint before I wanted to see how they cooked it. Wings were no better. My husband asked (whomever answered the phone) if the wings were buffalo style, and he/she said yes. They weren't even close to buffalo, but more like BBQ which they do have, but that is not what was spoken about nor ordered. Paying 30 bucks for a nasty pizza and wings is 1-overpriced and 2-sad. The owner should take pride in his business, and at least cook a pizza correctly. I was going to call Zein's and complain, but figured why bother because I surely won't be eating there again. This place is a diamond in the rough! Nice little pizza joint that not many people have heard of but should have! The gentlemen that works there and I believe owns the joint is extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with, his customer service is outstanding.
