The bacon had maybe a brown sugar on it. Almost tasted like million dollar bacon if you have ever had that at other places. And just a hint of something that made me eager for the next bite. Was it a little pricey. Maybe if you have never left grass lake. But on par for this type of thing. The menu was a bit hard to follow. Again first time there. I didn't see a half sandwich option. Which would have been plenty for lunch. But bad for my taste buds. Or that they had soup or what the soup was. I think half my time was spent trying to decipher what all they had and what I wanted. I see some ppl complain about the wait. It was a little long. But what was expected when they are making it right in front of you. And toasting it in the moment. I personally spoke to the general manager who seemed to be on top of things. It was my first visit. I didn't try the coffee and the ice cream. But it looks visually great. I often travel the country looking for a place exactly like this When I'm on the road. Small, non chain, warm, inviting coffee breakfast and lunch spot. I'm delighted to have one so close to home.
