I hired this law firm to assist me with an eviction matter, and unfortunately my experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. Throughout the process, I was repeatedly presented with additional charges and fees that were not clearly explained at the outset. I was charged for discovery services and attorney court appearance fees, yet no court appearance ultimately occurred because I was advised to settle the case. What concerns me most is that I was instructed not to appear for my scheduled trial date, only to later learn of issues involving required notifications related to my case. This firm failed to report it to the LAHD, something I paid them to do. As a result, I felt I was left with little choice but to accept a settlement that was far less favorable than what I had originally sought. Making me lose thousands of dollars. Communication within the firm was poor from start to finish. I have emails and text messages showing a lack of coordination among staff and attorneys, with different people providing inconsistent information and often appearing unaware of the status of my case. This created unnecessary stress and undermined my confidence in their representation. As a paying client, I expected competence, communication, and professionalism. Instead, I experienced confusion, unexpected fees, and what I believe was inadequate handling of my matter. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm, particularly for eviction-related cases. Anyone considering hiring them should carefully review all fees, ask detailed questions about case management, and ensure they fully understand what services are actually being provided.

She reviewed my purchase contract, disclosures thoroughly, caught what mattered, and gave me honest, no-BS clarity on my next steps. From the moment we started, she skipped the fluff and got straight to work. Every minute counted and none of it was wasted. She spotted that my SPQ and TDS were not up to date after disclosures were added later, and made sure I knew to be BCC'd on all communications going forward. These are exactly the kinds of things you don't know to look for until it's too late. Her background as both an attorney and a real estate agent gives her perspective that most attorneys simply don't have. But what struck me most is that she is a true advocate for you. I walked away feeling informed, confident, and truly protected. If you need someone detail-oriented, straight to the point, and genuinely in your corner, I highly recommend her.

I cannot thank Landlord Advocates enough for what they did for us…read more Before finding them, we were in a situation that felt completely unfair and out of control. We had someone occupying our property for months, and every day that passed made us feel more stressed, discouraged, and unsure of what to do next. Landlord Advocates stepped in and immediately gave us direction. They were calm, confident, and knew exactly how to move the process forward. They were also incredibly accessible. Whenever we had questions or needed reassurance, they responded quickly and explained things in a way we could actually understand. One thing we especially appreciated was that they charged a lump sum rather than billing by the hour. In a situation that was already stressful and financially draining, the last thing we needed was the added anxiety of watching billable hours and costs continue to pile up. Knowing the cost upfront gave us peace of mind and made a terrible situation feel a little more manageable. What I appreciated most was their follow-through. They did not just give advice and disappear. They stayed on top of the details, kept everything organized, and made sure the case continued moving. That level of dedication meant so much during a time when we felt overwhelmed. They are professional, tough when they need to be, and clearly experienced in handling difficult landlord situations. We are so thankful we found them and would trust them again without hesitation.

I had a tenant who abruptly stopped paying his rent. Apparently he had contacted a tenant advocate service, which is nothing more than legal sharks now being funded by California to defend deadbeats. The tenant, who was probably on drugs, began paranoid rantings and case-building against me. He tried to turn the other tenants against me. I looked at the possibility of evicting him and realized that I was facing an uphill battle with the current LA political climate. It was at this point that I ran across the Landlord Advocates. After vetting them carefully, I made a down payment on their services. They are so confident in their ability that they offer a money-back guarantee. That's hard to ignore these days, with the bait-and-switch mentality of many businesses. One thing led to another and before our plan came to fruition, I was able to navigate a "cash for keys" deal with the deadbeat tenant. True to their word, Landlord Advocates refunded my money. That sort of integrity is in short order these days. God forbid that I need them, but if this situation arises again, I know who I will call!! The Landlord Advocates.

I was initially working with another attorney on a complicated business dispute, but that attorney did not handle litigation. Once it became clear that litigation would be necessary, I had to find new counsel. Supporting women-owned businesses is important to me, so I set out to find a competent attorney in the Los Angeles area who owned her own firm. I'm extremely grateful that search led me to Jennifer. We arranged a meeting between the three of us so she could be brought up to speed on the case. Afterward, my original attorney told me I had made an excellent choice and that Jennifer would be perfect for what I needed. At the time, I didn't realize how absolutely right that was. Throughout my case, Jennifer explained legal procedures and terminology in a clear and patient way. If I misunderstood something or had incorrect information, she would calmly walk through it with me and explain the facts without ever making me feel less than. That kind of respect and clarity makes a huge difference in a complicated legal situation. She was honest about risks, open to a collaborative approach, and always made sure I had a voice in the strategy. At the same time, she was aggressive when necessary and fought hard for my interests. I always knew I had someone firmly in my corner, and I grew to trust her immensely. Jennifer is widely known for her expertise in real estate law, but she also handled my business dispute with impressive skill. She is upbeat but direct, extremely capable, and keeps things structured so matters move forward without unnecessary costs or wasted time. She owns her own firm and works incredibly hard for her clients. In an industry that can still feel like a boys' club, she is a strong advocate. If you need an attorney who is sharp, responsive, and relentless in protecting your interests, Gardner & Associates is an excellent choice.
