RKC installed a patio cover, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's professionally done and has a nice clean look, and it blends well with my decor. Well worth the money.!

Repeat customer originally did patio cover years ago it came out amazing. Invited Peter from RKC and he helped me with a cover to protect pool equipment from the San Diego sun. Rick owner very helpful and we felt we got a very fair price.

Rick came by did patio cover for my dad. It came out pretty awesome. Most guys had the old style aluminum cover. My Dad and I wanted a more modern look so we went with the motorized louvers pretty thrilled honestly. Offers good financing and done in less than 6 weeks

I hired RKC Construction to remove an existing 33 year old wood patio cover and replace with a Alumawood powered coated aluminum patio cover. James their sales agent set up the contract with the exact details of the design including the layout that I wanted with exact didimensions. After the Alumawood material arrived Erik their lead installer along with Tony his assistant installed the most beautiful patio cover I ever saw. The installation was performed perfectly as Erik and Tony are fantastic in doing the job as they would if it was their patio cover being installed on their home. Their measurements were exact and their appreciation to detail was amazing. We are so excited and happy with the most beautiful patio cover anyone could ask for. Just outstanding. So glad we hired RKC Construction and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a fantastic patio cover at a great affordable price. Thanks James, Erik and Tony.

I needed a patio cover in a weird layout that other companies turned down. This company stepped up and did a killer job. Special thanks to Peter (sales rep) and Justin the lead designer and worker. I appreciate it work the team did!

Five star company all the way. If you want the best service for the best possible price call RKC CONSTRUCTION and ask for James. He is a veteran project designer and has designed some of the best designs in San Diego , from custom gables to curved lattice patio covers to multi level insulated covers. Rkc also offers 4" insulated solar ready patio covers ready for solar panels.

I finally had it replaced last April 2025 by Skyline Patio and Sunrooms with an insulated cover. One year later, it has passed the test through hot weather, rain and wind. No more frying eggs on the concrete floor! I was very very happy with the service I received from this company. Joe, the manager, and Rick design rep, Darrin construction manager, Andrea production coordinator, Dianna sales coordinator, and others that came to do the work on site, were all professional and a real blessing in getting my new patio cover designed and put together with the features I wanted. The crew that worked on site demonstrated much care and passion in the work they did. The crew took time to answer my questions and even made a video on my phone so I could remember how the wiring was done for my patio light and fan. I have gutters on each side and also had outlets put in. Today the temperature in my backyard in the sun is 102°F. In the shade of my Avocado tree the temp is 96°F. The ambient temperature under my insulated patio cover is 84°F!! That's an 18 degree difference! The company responded quickly to my initial call and once material was in, had the work completed within 2 days. They took down and removed the old cover, prepped the areas needed, and cleaned up afterwards. Out of all the companies I met with, Skyline Sunrooms came out as my top choice. I highly recommend Skyline Patio and Sunrooms to anyone. They have a cute little showroom, too!

After meeting with Adam and several other contractors, I decided to go with Patio Guy not only…read morebecause of his five-star rating, but several other factors that were important to me (and probably you as well): 1) He could deliver and install my new cover within a week vs. the other guys taking months; 2) I wasn't limited to just the AlumaWood product (which wasn't modern enough for me), and (3) his price to install with an upgraded cover (insulated) was far below his competitors constrained by higher overhead and slower delivery times. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

Adam came down next day for a detailed quote and Brody and team build new patio up in less than two days a couple weeks later. Only regret is that I didn't do this years ago. Price, professionalism, communication, demo, build and clean up were all amazing. Highly recommended and would absolutely use again.

Steve, the co-owner, was most patient and thorough in accommodating our needs, including drainage and lighting, and helping us think through the design and materials. The price was reasonable. JD, the project manager, was great, keeping us abreast of what was going on as the project proceeded. The crew--Jesse and Randal, Robert and Anthony--were likewise a pleasure to work with. The end product is a pleasure to look at, eliciting many positive comments from neighbors and thumbs-up from passers by.

This review concerns only my experience with Pacific Patio's bidding process. The proposal I received did not include any meaningful detail about the materials that would be used. When I asked specific questions--such as whether the support posts would be steel or aluminum--the salesperson refused to answer. Instead, he responded sarcastically, "Do you want me to tell you what kind of bolts we're going to use?" My answer is yes. The materials matter. The type of bolts, fasteners, posts, and other structural components affects the durability and safety of the finished product. Lower-quality hardware may perform differently under wind loads and over time, so it's reasonable for a customer to know what is being proposed. I repeatedly asked for a list of the materials that would be used, but the salesperson would not provide one. Without that information, I had no meaningful way to compare Pacific Patio's proposal with competing bids. Just as importantly, I would have had no clear basis for holding the contractor accountable if different materials were substituted during the project. The salesperson also became increasingly dismissive as I continued asking for this information. That lack of transparency and professionalism led me to award the project--worth approximately $100,000--to another contractor. I'm sharing this experience so that prospective customers know to ask for a detailed written description of the materials included in any proposal before making a decision.

Response to owner's reply: To clarify for future readers,…read morewe were given multiple different explanations throughout this process regarding the materials. At one point, we were told the materials were being held at a warehouse due to financial issues unrelated to our project. Additionally, in the signed refund agreement, we were explicitly told we would receive a refund regardless of whether the manufacturer provided a refund to the company. Even after formal remedies were initiated, there were still opportunities to resolve this matter directly. Full materials were ever delivered to our home, and the patio cover was never completed. Our review reflects our direct experience based on those facts. Original Review: Working with this company was the most stressful experience we've had with a home project. We paid a significant upfront amount for materials and the initial demo and cement work for a patio in July 2025. The demo and cement were completed, but the materials we paid for were never delivered and the patio was left unfinished. After taking our payment for materials, the owner failed to provide them. Despite repeated attempts to get updates and resolve the issue, communication became inconsistent. He offered a refund, but that was never delivered either. We were ultimately forced to pursue formal remedies to try to recover our money and are still dealing with this as of March 2026. Avoid this company. It is not worth the stress, time, or financial risk.
