I love that it's social so they let them outside often throughout the day to play, but the dogs still each have their own room (not kennels). It's perfect for our dog because he gets to play and then go into his own space with a glass door so he can still see out. They provide beds and bowls as well so really they're all taken care of. They have four drop off/pick up times throughout the day, as early as 7:30am or as late as 9:00pm so it's convenient for traveling. Their prices are more than reasonable and they also offer daycare and grooming! We really love this place and even go out of our way when traveling just to bring our doggo here - he's always treated like a prince.

That was my fault, COMPLETELY MY FAULT. However, the response when I called was a rough, "Oh yeah YOU WERE THE NO CALL NOSHOW". I said yes and tried to apologize. She said should would have to check and get back with me. She never got back to me and actually blocked my number so I couldn't call back. Amazing. Very disappointing and unprofessional. All she had to do was say she did not want to do business with me any longer. I was use to the old owner and when I met a few of the new people a while back, they seemed very nice and I am sure they are. What a shame. Even if she did agree to watch my pets, I would not trust them. I also talked to a few of my friends that use her and they were like "WOW". Again, I get it but how foolish, silly, and very stupid in my opinion.

I chose to reschedule and confirmed the date and time for Tuesday, January 27th at 1 pm. The groomer didn't show up, and unfortunately, I didn't receive any notification or heads-up about the change. I waited for a bit and then tried to get in touch with her but I couldn't reach anyone; which was actually disappointing because I was looking forward to my fur baby's appointment.

The doctors, vet techs, vet assistants, groomers, and even the people in reception are warm and friendly and CARING, especially Holly, Mel B. (Our kitty Reggie is in LOVE with her!) and Drs. Walker and Mitzi. They all listened to our questions and concerns, and they treated us with kindness and patience. It is clear that they wanted us to understand every part of the appointment, and they made sure to get our informed consent about entry procedure or treatment. And the way they treat our kitties? Amazing. After every appointment, they called us "just to check in with how the patients are doing". You can really tell that they love animals. On a sad note, we recently lost out 16 year-old cat to cancer (he was being treated by an amazing oncologist at MedVet, by the way). When we had him put to sleep at Medvet (see my other review for THAT horror story), the folks at Bartels and Busack sent us condolences and a sympathy card even though they were not the ones who euthanized him. When I did have an emergency during hours and I thought my dog was dying, they wanted to charge me a $200 fee to have it reviewed by their board to see if they could get her in. I never went back. You'll also wait 30 minutes to see a doctor every time you go there. Why don't they just adjust their appointment times? Don't know. You'd think they'd provide top tier service with the prices they charge.

They give you updates throughout your dogs stay, spend lots of quality time with the dogs, and my dog always comes home tired from all the fun he has had. At the end of the stay, you get a "report card" letting you know how everything went. They also are extremely friendly and do everything to make you comfortable about leaving your fur baby. I can't recommend them enough.
