The nice lady that helped me-I believe her name is Ro. She was great!! Very personable, nice and kind. I was also in the market for an additional chair for my grandmother, for when she has company. I had some specific needs for this chair and she pointed me back to the clearance section. I got the perfect additional chair for about 80% off retail price. And!!! They had free delivery and took the couch away!! That was going to be a project itself for me so they made my day offering to take the couch! I would definitely recommend this place, and I will be back in the future.

Several years later we decided to look up The Sampler. While there we told them how we had come to even find out about the place. It an odd twist of fate, the Clifty Inn had just remodeled and asked them to come pick up their furniture. They were in the process of restoring them. To make a long story short, we bought them. Their furniture is not inexpensive. It is not disposable. Think of it more as an heirloom. It is built to last. The color deepens with age. Incredibly sturdy--what you would expect with solid cherry. Four stars? I wish they had more examples of their work in their showroom so you could actually see and touch them I also wish they had a few smaller items like spice racks and napkin rings.

Seems to me that there is just a bit of everything you might need located Inside. A large selection of causal and work clothes, several different types of shoes. The rest of the store has guns, pool, hunting, fishing, and farming equipment. I think if you have a dog up to a horse you might find something you need in the pet section and rural king. The next day while going through the contents of the bag I was given at the time of purchase I found the title. It shows the unit as a 2021, being three years old. I'm guessing this is why the cashier said "Hey some one finally bought it!" I thought this was due to the 8,999.99 price tag not including tax. I called the store and asked for the manager. She was nice but said she could not do anything but would have some one contact me. A couple of days later a guy called me already apprised of the situation. I explained to him my issue of paying for a new unit, not one three years old. I suggested a refund based on depreciation. These units depreciate 15 to 20% the first few years according to the market. Since I was the first purchaser I suggested one years depreciation which would be 1,400.00. He said "absolutely not". He told me I could clean it up to look new and return it for a refund. One, this doesnt address the issue I bought what I felt was a new unit, not three years old! And two, there was not another unit available. Since this unit replaced my 87 year old Dad's broken down unit, this wasn't much of a option. This would also explain why the engine isnt running smoothly. I was told "the units were very well maintained and that didnt make since". I feel like this has been very poorly handled by Rural King, and I am surprised they would handle it this way. I will never return to Rural King, not even for their free pop corn. Lee Pope
