Kaveh was great in our initial meetings. All the contractors hired were way overpriced. The folks he recommended like the handy-person did sub par work (installing things backwards, then charging me for the extra work. The landscape person did not follow through on trimming & maintaining our yards. He found 2 horrible tenants who destroyed our landscaping, changed the locks on our doors, literally yelled at me when I tried getting quotes for landscaping (with advanced notice & their agreement), they called the police on our new landscapers, violated the terms of the lease, posted horrible things on Nextdoor.com... It was a total nightmare. The tenants complained about everything, demanded that I replace 1-3 year old appliances, and would avoid answering questions honestly. We found staples in the siding of the house from decorations they had hung. What did RNB do? They gaslit me the whole time. I guess it was easier to go along with the terrible tenants behaviors than to actually manage the property correctly. I had to get my lawyer involved because the tenants they got me were that awful. Never again. In his defense, he did tell me that I didn't properly maintain the property. Which I completely disagreed with. Any fixes, I paid thousands of dollars. I did what he asked, when the going got tough, and it was time to evict the tenants at his recommendation, he dropped us as a client. Great follow through. read more

I hired RNB Property Management Golden Gate a few months ago to manage a condo I own in San Francisco. I generally do not like working with property management companies, as I feel like they are notorious for taking advantage of owners, but I have no choice as I live in Florida and can't manage my condo from here. RNB Property Management definitely provides a higher level of service than any management company I have worked with before, which I could tell right away. Kaveh, who is the person I have been working with, has been great! Off the bat, Kaveh was willing to meet with me at the condo on a Sunday afternoon for a complementary consultation, which is more than other companies were willing to do. When we met, he spent some time looking at my condo, gave me a few recommendations of ways I could make it more appealing to renters, and gave me pricing suggestions, and was all very helpful and informative. He did not push a hard sale, and seemed more interested in providing me with information than just signing a contract and getting paid. I wanted to price the condo higher than he suggested, and he was willing to do that, but also informed me that that would just increase the amount of time it would spend vacant. It turned out he was exactly right! After 3 weeks I lowered the price to his suggestion, and right away there were more showings, and an application within 6 days! During the time it was listed on the market, Kaveh was very good at keeping me informed with how many showings there were and any feedback that was given. He also kept me up to date with comparable rentals in the area. When one of the showings turned into an application, Kaveh collected all the applicants information, and presented me with everything that I needed to make an easy decision. Once I approved them, RNB scheduled a lease signing, and he did his inspection, where a few small repair items were found, which Kaveh helped me address. After that was done, the tenants moved in, and everything has been easy since then. The tenants send their rent payment, and I get an online transfer a few days later. I definitely recommend RNB Property Management to anyone who needs a full service management company. I am glad I finally found a company I feel I can trust. read more

My husband and I just transferred management of an investment home in Mill Valley that we own to RNB Property Management Golden Gate, and so far they have been very nice to work with. We had a bit of an issue with the company we have been working with for years, mainly due to a lack of communication and unexpected fees. I contacted RNB Property Management Golden Gate in Sausalito, Ca. in February 1, 2020. The agent in this office seemed to be effective and responsive. I am a landldord who was looking for a good listing agent for property in Sausalito, Ca. This is not as easy as it sounds. I listed this property with RNB Property Management Golden Gate, for leasing only. A tenant was found in late March 2020. A rental agreement was ratified on or about March 28, 2020. I did not receive copies of the lease until about April 8, 2020. I expected the funds, rent for April 2020 and the securtity deposit in that package. I have not received either the rent for April, minus the comission which was 75% of the monthly rent, and the security deposit as of today, April 12, 2020. I have tried through many, many emails to get these funds for the rent and the security deposit. I was told on or about March 28, 2020 that it was manditory with RNB Management that I had to sign a W9 form. This was never menitoned prior to this time. It could have been included in the listing DocuSign. It was not included with listing package and it was never even mentioned until after the lease was ratified. As of today, April 12, 2020, I have not received any funds from RNB Management. I will be making time tomorrow, April 13, 2020, to appeal my complaint with Department of Real Estate in Sacramento. read more
