Tagliatelle funghi
Lauren N.

This place has been on my list since i moved to coral gables! its tucked on the bottom of a hotel. The decor is bright, light and cozy. I ordered the artichoke salad and the tagliatele al funghi misti. Before the food came, they gabe you some delicious pieces of focaccia with oil. The salad was refreshing and light. The vinagarette on top of the arugula, artichoke and parmesan slices was very flavorful. The pasta is the reason you come. The al dente pasta was made in a buttery mushroom sauce. The caviar on top was the perfect addition. I just have to say the service was very slow. I waited a long time after the salad to get the main course. I would still return to try their crudo. The day i came it was octopus and i was hoping for the tuna crudo.

Exceptional Italian Dining Zucca at the historic Hotel St. Michel is a beautiful, elegant spot in Coral Gables. The ambiance is warm, refined, and filled with natural light from its large street-facing windows. I had a fresh house-made pasta with mixed mushrooms, parmesan, and black truffle absolutely delicious. The vitel tonnato was incredibly fresh and well-balanced, and my companion's cinghiale pasta (the pasta of the day) was outstanding. Service was truly impeccable, and the crowd is elegant and mostly 40+, which adds to the sophisticated atmosphere. A perfect place for a date, a business dinner, or a special night out. Highly recommended.

Had the opportunity to dine at Zucca and it did not disappoint. My favorite of the evening was the Truffle goat cheese zucchini blossom. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS 10 out of 10! My Gnocchi were great and the fish special of the day was also good. The service and attentive staff made the evening better. We saw the table side salted fish service for a large group near us and it looked amazing! The dimly lit restaurant is definitely romantic.

I went here with friends for a late lunch. We had the most amazing waiter, he was very informative, accompanying to our large group. I started with the Lemoncello spritz and he offered some prosciutto since there was no fresh bread for me, gluten free. For my entree I ordered the Mediterranean Sea Bass. I wanted potatoes but he explained that it was already premixed, so he suggested a salad. My meal was delicious and the space was beautiful to enjoy with friends.

I've had Zucca bookmarked for a while and glad I finally made it here. It's local in the iconic St. Michel Hotel which is a sight in itself. Zucca is an upscale Italian restaurant. The food was really good and the service was attentive. Foods I tried: - fried goat cheese with honey - tuna carpaccio - Branzino - Gnocchi - Philodough with cream and Nutella I rarely ever drink but paired it with an Aperol Spritz since I found it fitting ("when in Rome") It's not really a super lively place it's more of a calm date night restaurant with dimmed lights. It does get full so get a reservation!

Zucca continues to hold onto quality. We showed up for lunch and were immediately accommodated by the server. The quality of the food was superb. We enjoyed all of our dishes, which were well-balanced and flavorful. We started with the tartare di vitello and the crudo di pesce, both excellent, although we preferred the crudo. For entree, we had the tortellini al tartufo and the mezzi rigatoni, each delicious. For dessert, we enjoyed the torta di formaggio, which was also great. We paired our dinner with a sauvignon blanc and the limoncello e menta spritz. Overall, Zucca is always a great idea, and we will return. Food 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 Service 5/5

I came here for lunch with a friend to try the Miami Spice deal. I hadn't been here in decades- since it was just the Saint Michelle restaurant where my husband proposed to me. It wasn't too busy when we arrived and I was able to park right across the street in front of the restaurant. It was just a few dollars to park on the street. There's also a parking garage across the street. The restaurant is still beautiful and beautifully decorated. The ambiance is very relaxing. We were sat next to their huge walk-in wine cooler. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. He had several other people helping him out. There was always someone ready to take our plates, or refill our drinks. I ordered the Ruby Rosé Spritz. It was delicious and very refreshing. My friend ordered an iced tea. She didn't like it. So she also ordered a Spritz. For appetizers we both ordered the burrata salad. It was delicious. Very unique with sweet peaches, crunchy cabbage, and a elderflower dressing. For our main entree we both ordered the red snapper. I loved mine and ate every bite! My friend said hers was a little fatty and tough, so she didn't really like hers so much. It came with a little grape tomato salad on the side. I actually liked the salad more than the fish. It was really tasty! For our desserts I ordered the Pecorino cheese with honey. My friend ordered the passion fruit cheesecake. The passion fruit cheesecake was delicious! It's too bad we were so full from the rest of our meal. The cheesecake was light, fluffy and not too sweet. The passion fruit syrup around it was the perfect tartness and sweetness. It had a few crunchy seeds in the syrup that added a pleasant touch. Definitely one of the best desserts I've ever had. Altogether our lunches were about $60-$65 each which included a 20%. I'd definitely return. It's a great place for couples. Very romantic. I'm glad they have the Miami Spice deal because it really encourages me to get out and try new places, or places I haven't been to in a long while.

There's a romantic dimmed like aesthetic to zucca which I love the pastas, I find their pasta to be good comfort food not to theatrical just goo quality pasta. All the workers were very nice, the service was slow but that could have just been the day but getting our food took a bit of time....i still do think this is one of the best pasta spots in the gables

If you're looking for a solid lunch or happy hour spot in Coral Gables, Zucca is it. Their lunch menu is outstanding, and their happy hour is just as impressive with great drink specials and a delicious bites menu. The focaccia with ricotta cheese dip is addictive, and the meatballs for $4 are hands down one of the best deals around. Everything I've tried has been fantastic--highly recommend!

Everything from service, ambiance, food and drinks... all outstanding. Food was delicious! The place is chic and cozy, classy yet not suffocating And the pasta, must say is perfection, al dente and tasty. Definitely one of the best meals we had recently.

Great place to eat spaghetti! Had the best waiters and great wine! A little pricey but it's a great place to go on a date and eat quality food!

Very great fine dining experience that is still somewhat affordable depending on what you're looking for. The flavors were very very fresh, they even start you off with a delicious bread and cheese, the burratta was absolutely killer. The service was great too and I was constantly being checked on by our server! she even pre-split the plate me and my boyfriend were sharing. I'm definitely going to be returning maybe for an anniversary dinner or something special. we also sad right by the wine cellar which was huge and entertaining to look at

Special tonight of mushroom risotto with black truffles.

Hello D you have Miami spice Or lunch me u?

Zucca is on the Miami Spice list. It starts in August and runs through September. Worth a visit!!

When their website says you can't wear a hat, are they talking about non-dressy hats? Like a baseball cap? Are long brim fedoras accepted?

Hello Chris: Thank you for reaching out!…

What are the hours for happy hour?

4pm to 8pm i believe

Where can I see a dinner/lunch menu?

The menu is on the hotel st Michel in coral gables website where zucca is located.

Thanks for all the brunch info - one more question - is it buffet or limited amount of food? Not sure from the answers above and they have no info on their page.

There is a brunch area with delicious Italian bites and cured meats, etc. Also a dessert station.…

Has anyone been to brunch at Zucca? I'd like to know what they serve - is it a buffet? Are there menu options also? Are drinks included? Thanks.

Hi! The brunch is very good. The appetizers and desserts are buffet style and you get 1 menu item included in the price. They bring out special dishes to the table as you eat (these are also Included) there's plenty of food and variety. I don't…

The cocktails are unquestionably the star of the show. Thoughtfully crafted, well-balanced, and presented with attention to detail, each drink feels like part of the experience rather than just something to sip on. Add in a live DJ, great music, and an energetic crowd, and the result is a place with incredible vibes from start to finish. My own birthday was celebrated there on karaoke night, and it was one of the most amazing and unforgettable nights. We also celebrated my niece's graduation on karaoke night, and it was another incredible evening filled with friends, family, laughter, and great memories. Seeing an employee post something so negative about an event that so many of us genuinely enjoy is disappointing. From the outside looking in, it seems like there's been a big shift in whoever is running these events. I recently attended both karaoke night and ladies' night, and the atmosphere was completely different from what many of us have come to love. FYI, karaoke night *brings people together*. I can't think of a single time we've gone and not had a great night. That's why this post doesn't reflect what 9 Feet Under has always represented to so many of us. If you work there and karaoke night is that terrible *for you*, maybe it's worth asking yourself why that is. Or perhaps this isn't the right environment for you. But please don't portray an event that has created so many positive memories for so many people as something negative, because that's simply not the experience the rest of us have had. Now you've lost customers!!

Service was attentive and warm throughout, though there was a fairly long wait between the second course and dessert. To start, the tuna tartare was outstanding, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. My friend's calamari with risotto was excellent as well. The salmon, unfortunately, fell a bit flat and lacked seasoning. The fries, on the other hand, were a highlight crisp, super fresh, and thoroughly delicious. For dessert, I ordered the panna cotta, which in texture and presentation was closer to a mousse than a traditional panna cotta, but honestly, it didn't matter. Whether you call it a panna cotta or a mousse, the flavor was incredible and the texture was lovely, finished with a bright, tangy mango topping that tied it all together. One tip! the restaurant runs quite cold, so dress warmly if you're planning to visit. Overall, a lovely spot.
