After they heard the phone call they changed the pickup time to what I had requested originally. Two days ago I scheduled two different rides going to the the exact same place at the same time. I cancelled the first day and they lied and said that I didn't schedule a ride for the second day. I had a feeling that I should've recorded that call but from now on I will record every call that I make scheduling my rides. They are liars and peoples lives are at stake. Some riders are getting Cancer treatments and others are going to dialysis and they are going to answer to God for their actions.

However, having lived in the U.S. for over 6 years now, I can appreciate the little network we have. I am happy we have some options in the area and Metro transit system is actually prettt vast. I take Metro Plus (Line 90) regularly from downtown to UC Hospital. It is a great bus, express line, with fewer stops, very clean and very safe. The bus is on a schedule every 15 min, but delays sometimes happen. Some drivers used to skip my stop and altering the route, out of unawareness, but when I called the help line, someone was always able to reach the driver and let them know. That helpline, although not ideal, is very useful, as I could pass the message to the Supervisor, who clearly made all the drivers aware of the stop that got skipped way too often. I had my share of frustration, but it was resolved long term and in the end and now it's great! When it comes to other bus lines, it all depends on co-commuters. I was in buses where people left behind trash and spilled drinks on the seats. Some buses go through rough areas and safety might be a concern. The biggest thing is, the bus drivers are generally awesome, very kind and helpful. They need to put up with some obnoxious passengers and I admire them for doing this job! We need more buses, more routes, less cars, more public transport options! My big critique: there is no good app for the Metro routes. This is something they should work on to see where the buses are stopping exactly, and to check the schedule (ahead of time, not just in real life). I am happy they introduced the mobile tickets now! And there is Wifi on board now! Fantastic!

A free streetcar between Findlay Market and the river via Washington Park and downtown…read more The Connector is a free accessible streetcar on a 18-stop line north and south through Cincinnati's OTR district. We hopped on at a stop on Elm Street in view of the west end of Findlay Market (May 2026). The stop had a ramp at both ends up to the level of the streetcar, and a small 3-sided shelter and bench. Inside the brightly-decorated clean car there were accessible spaces at the center doors, with about 40 seats overall and room for about 100-more standing. The seats were hard but comfortable. The car was clean and bright. The streetcars were not at all crowded midday on a weekday. Through end-to-end windows, we enjoyed seeing a number of the hundreds of colorful creative murals of all sorts that decorate the city. We rode the whole 3.6-mile circuit, past various clusters of restaurants, stores, groceries, and offices. At the south end, the stop also had a small 3-sided shelter and bench, and had no need for ramps. We took a stroll less than ten minutes to a row of swings that overlook the river! Cool! Then back up to walk around the green-spaces and playgrounds of Washington Park in west-OTR. The park stop had ramps and a small bench, but no shelter. We waited under nearby trees for a little shade. We ended our tour at Jane's bar back at Findlay Market, just past that streetcar stop. All the way, we used a transit app which did a good job of showing the location of the four-or-five streetcars, with accurate arrival-times at the stops where we waited. This was a great air-conditioned no-cost way to get around and see some of the sights of these parts of Cincinnati :-)
