Do not use unless you want to be treated poorly. My original order was online. First concern was when I initially put my order in. I received an email stating that it was confirmed and that I could review my order through the attachment they never put the attachment. I contacted them by phone due to the fact that I hadn't received the attachment and wanted to make sure to confirm my order. It took three tries to be able to speak to a representative. Once answered she was able to get me the information emailed with the attachment. The second was due to an unexpected change on my end. I contacted the representatives by phone which once again took several calls before being able to speak to someone. It was the same associate I spoke with before.She was friendly and able to access my account, I asked if there would be any issue to move up the date to the 29th and change the location. I let her know I was fine with the extra charge as long as the pick up was that day. She said it wouldn't be a problem and assured me that my car could be gotten that day. After I received an email with confirmation and this time the attachment. I missed a call from this associate and attempted to call back not even a minute after missing it . I called back 5 times and left 2 messages . So the day of the pick up comes I am unable to look up my order online. I have not been able to do so even after the first confirmation. I contacted them once again about my order. I let them know that the next day I was leaving that area and needed to confirm that my car was being taken. They told me that they didn't have confirmation and I let her know that I was feeling very antsy due to the fact that we were leaving the next day and had been promised that it would be taken care of. She once again assured me that it would be okay and that she would put in for an urgent pick up. I let her know that it mattered a lot to me and thanked her for her time. a few hours go by and there's still no confirmation I contact her again letting her know that our home is being closed on and that we're going to need to leave and find out what time the pickup is. She told me once again that there's been no confirmation nobody tried to contact me to let me know this and she said well maybe they'll be able to pick up today since the last truck going through is around 9 p.m. at this point my husband and I have already finished everything that we need to on base. The only thing that remains is my vehicle my husband and I over the course of three hours tried to get ahold of somebody from this company. I spoke with a gentleman who put me on hold and had me hung up on twice after I let him know my concerns and what was going on. The next moment I believe I was on with a male supervisor who was more concerned on stating that they did everything they could as opposed to apologizing. After asking for Solutions multiple time he recommended that I stay in the hotel on base and wait for them, the man refused to give me any confirmation on a time or date that my car would be picked up and come to find out when I passed the phone off to my husband said it could be up to two weeks. after I told the male on the phone that I wanted to go with a different company because they couldn't give me what I needed and what they had promised he told me that he would not recommend it and that his company does everything that other companies couldn't. my husband and I got off the phone from him and contacted another company, the same man called me back while being very nasty about the fact that I told him I was uncomfortable and could not work with a company like that that was going to be this disrespectful to someone when it was one of their Associates stating that the job could be completed. I let him know that our conversation was over not to call back and I would be writing review he yelled back well make sure when you're writing your review tell them you never spoke to another living being. Don't waste your money or your time,already found another company that could get my car within 24 hours & didn't have to be yelled at Sadly I didn't find out till later that there were several Veterans and Military members who were treated extremely rudely by this crew read more

The WORST Auto Transport! DO NOT TRUST. Got a quote before purchasing for $970. I Asked MANY TIMES if that would be the final cost, and the man assured me that was The FINAL price. They then gave me a date where they would be here to pick up the car. After confirming and after I set the date, they charged another $156! Waited ALL DAY for them to find out that they canceled it and called that the driver was no longer available. They set up a new driver for the next day and they canceled again. Now they have a new driver, that is supposed to be coming today, and charged me another $70!! The customer service is awful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. I wanted to have a car transported to Fort Benning,GA. It was a surprise for my son's 23rd birthday. I reserved for a pickup 11 business days and 14 Calender days in advance. They never picked up the car, nor called. I reached out via phone,email and text. To only be told we don't have a carrier.The day of pickup ( July 7th 2020 ) no one showed or called. So, I drove the car myself saving $875.00. So, Please go with a different company, unless you are will to transport it yourself. read more

First of all, I finally did get my car successfully transported with Road Runner, but it took an extra 5 days and a lot of aggravation to make the connection and receive my car. We were moving across the country and booked Road Runner transport 2-months in advance. We booked in advance because the Booking Agent told me that the earlier you book, the more time RR has to secure a transport and guarantee the date and time of pick up. This is not true. The Agent over promised and under delivered on the contract. Road Runner did not contact me before or the day of the move to let me know they did not have a transport confirmed. In fact, after RR got my payment, they never reached out to confirm any details of the transport. After repeated outreach on my part (unanswered & unreturned phone calls and emails), I cancelled my original order and had to relocate my car over 800 miles away to my daughters house. From there we were finally able to make a successful transportation connection. The lack of communication and follow through with RR is incredibly frustrating. Here are some Buyer Beware issues if you are using RR: Even though the Booking Agent may guarantee that they will pick your car up on a specific date, they may not. Do not plan your trip around Road Runner's scheduled date, as they will often have delays or may not even show. Do not believe the promise that if you book early, you will receive the date and time of a scheduled pick up or delivery. Road Runner operates on an hourly scheduling basis and CAN NOT guarantee any pick up or drop off time. Road Runner has a terrible phone system. They will answer new booking calls, but often will not answer customer inquiry calls or the status of a upcoming booking. I tired to call over a dozen times and was able to connect only once. They use and e-mail messaging system, saying they will return your message. In the 4-times I used it, Road Runner NEVER returned a message inquiry. Make sure you have your Booking Agent's phone number, e-mail and contact info, because it's may be the only way to communicate with a live person. The "Live Chat" feature RR uses is adequate. The employees who staff the "Live Chat" are pleasant, but have limited info to provide you. Do not expect to get much out of them except - "we are still waiting for dispatch to assign you a carrier." If you want to speak to a supervisor, it will not happen. I asked repeatedly over the course of 5 days to speak to a supervisor, but apparently none were ever available. If you are a planner and expect a company to honor their commitments, Road Runner is not your company. They will over promise and under deliver. We would NOT RECOMMEND this company. read more

Beware of the bait and switch. Like many other reviewers they will work hard to get your order then leave you hanging. Let me explain: I was presented with a quote and accepted . Per their website I packed my car to the letter. Under 100lbs and backseat below window line. Driver shows up at 8:15pm, in the dark, looks at the back seat and tells me I'll need to pay $100 extra that will be settled upon delivery. What??? I reached out to RoadRunner, 3 times I chatted and emailed, no call backs. Car arrives and driver requests the $100 to release the car. A follow up chat with Roadrunner says: "Sorry not our problem . You paid the carrier so take it up with them. " seriously??? So buyer beware. read more

1 star is far above what this company deserves. The worst experience and total lack of empathy. They posted the pick up on the national carrier site and wanted a cheaper discounted rate instead of getting my shipment done. They Refused to honor the pick up date and told me it could take a week if not longer to get my car picked up. They had over 29 days to schedule a carrier and on the day they were supposed to pick it up they refused to do the right thing. Pretty awful experience. I waited 12 days after my 'confirmed booking' for a carrier to be assigned. Every time I contacted them I got a generic cut-n-paste response that 'my business is very important to them and they are working URGENTLY to match me with a carrier.' No progress whatsoever. Eventually I gave up and went with one of their competitors. This new company searched the Central Listings site and found that Road Runner had never even posted my transport booking! There were no matches (searched by booking number, by start/end location, by type of vehicle, date, etc). More than once when I contacted customer service (speaking kindly, not being rude) they just hung up or closed the chat. On the positive side, they never charged my credit card. read more

I've moved my car across the country twice. This carrier is not to be trusted. Quoted $1295, once carrier was assigned, they jacked the price up to $1470. Inferior communications: They did not call me; I had to call them. The transport carrier called last night, stating they would pick up my car this morning. I did not receive a call from the carrier but I did receive a call, late morning, from RoadRunner telling me the carrier's truck was vandalized, and they would not be able to pick up my car and will need to find a new carrier. Today is Thursday, and I leave on Sunday, June 7th. I'm paying $1400 with another carrier and will see how it goes. Do your homework and have them disclose everything upfront: cost, ETA to connect with a carrier, etc. Check for complaints, but I would think twice about using this company. BTW Nick was who I dealt with over the phone. Please take note that the company only replies to positive reviews. That should give you an inkling of their business ethics. I booked the transport of my car on May 14th with the specific request that they can pick it up when needed as long as it is delivered from NY to Palm Beach Florida on June 29th. I was assured this would not be a problem and they scheduled the pick-up for June 25th. After we booked and paid the deposit they told us they need to pick up the car on the 24th and could not assure us the car would be delivered on the 29th and changed the date to the 30th. I explained BEFORE they picked up the car we would not be at the drop off location after the 30th and they again assured us before the car was picked up that they would deliver it on the 29th and would give us the driver's cell number. The car was picked up and the transport company refused to give us the driver's cell number. The car did not show up on the 29th or the 30th and since both days were the weekend , we just got voicemails. On Monday we called Roadrunner and they told us they would get back to us. 5 hours later I called the transport company to find out they were trying my NY house instead of my cell number because they would not honor the extra weight allowance in my roadrunner contract and would be charging extra. I arranged to pick up my car from the transport company, paid the extra fee only to discover my car damaged. The driver's mirror had its cover missing and the emergency brake is broken. In the future, make the arrangements with the transport company directly as roadrunner takes NO RESPONSIBILITY. read more

One Yelp star says "not good". That is not accurate. These guys totally suck. Do not even consider using them. Reservation booked 2 months ahead of time. No contact from them as date was getting close. I finally emailed and called during the course of the last week - each time I was told they would confirm as soon as they had a reservation. With 24 hours to go still nothing. Their phone contact number kept me on hold for 5-10 minutes before telling me to call back later and hanging up (3 times). When I got someone in the online chat - same answer - they knew nothing - timing was not guaranteed and they would contact me when they were able to book. I cancelled my reservation, called another shipper and got a confirmed reservation right away. I cannot emphasize enough how bad Roadrunner is!! read more

Their online system states more info is needed for the claim, however no one has contacted me. I've left several messages, phone and email, over the last week and they won't reply. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced in 20 yrs of shipping vehicles. Never call you back and will actually say they are transferring you to another department and hang up on you. After waiting 8 days, they called and said we can ship your car in 2 days more of you paid an additional $750 over your original quote. The original quote was only $1,000 to ship between Phoenix and Denver. When we told them we wanted to cancel the shipment, then the gentleman and we spoke with immediately hung up on us. As an owner of many high-end cars, I was absolutely appalled at our experience shipping a 2018 Raptor for our son to Colorado. I guess I will continue to use individuals to ship cars as they cost a little more money, but it's an entirely different and more enjoyable experience. read more

They showed up on time to pick it up, came as far as he could in my narrow neighborhood, offered to drive me back to my house because I had a bit of a walk and it was very hot. He took very good care of my SUV putting it on the truck, and was at my destination and waiting for me the day I landed. He couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. read more

The actual carrier was very nice and professional. RoadRunner found a carrier in about 4 days compared to a previous service which couldn't find a carrier 10 days out, I must live in a remote area. The reason they are only 3 stars is because the quoted price increased 3 times, which was very frustrating and deceptive. The first quote was the one done online, the second quote was when an actual person from RoadRunner contacted me and this quote was $200 more, but he said this was the "all in" price. I asked if this meant the final quote/ the price would not go up anymore, he replied, "correct." Then they called me 4 days later to state they found a carrier and quickly rattled off a price which was an "all in" price again, but was $100 more than the second quote. When I questioned that, the person didn't have a good answer for me, just claiming that they cannot control what the carrier's extra fees would be, but they'd be happy to wait longer and see if they could get anybody else for the second quoted price! At this point they know they have you at their mercy, because you don't want to wait any longer. So expect the price to go up $200-$300 more than the original quick quote online survey you fill out in the beginning. read more

We had a similar experience as Tamilee , Alan and Eric. We booked 6 weeks ahead and filled put all required paperwork and had a pick up date established. A week before pick up date, had not heard confirmation or anything. Called 20 times. Left message 4 times. Never a return call. Emailed several times. Some, no response , other responses - we're working on it. Now, we have to leave on a certain day. Day before needed to have car picked up, after 8 online tries, chatted with a nice lady who said she would put an urgent label on it and gave us an option to leave keys with a neighbor, which in our case was not possible. Day of, no call to say we will pick up or won't pick up. Anxiety and stress pervaded our week. Finally, friends rallied and found companies from their acquaintances. We got one that actually answered the phone, several times in fact, and got us a confirmation immediately. In our case Road Runner did not live up to their advertised service. I would not recommend this company. VERY STRESSFUL experience. I can't tell you how upset I got. They don't deserve a one even. read more
