Moving to a new place in a new state means to start a new life from scratch. However, I wasn't ready to leave all my belongings only because they are mine and they are very valuable to me, plus it would cost me a lot to replace them with new ones, so I decided to call a company that would relocated all of my belongings all the way from Phoenix to a new apartment in Los Angeles. One lady, who used to live next door, referred me to Long Distance Movers company, so I went with them. The moving process itself wasn't that stressful at all! The movers, Kostya, Mike and Izar, packed all my belongings, organized and labeled all the boxes, so kitchen items would go to the kitchen boxes, and so on. They also took extra care during packing my fragile belongings such as glass coffee table and mirrors. In other words, they packed all my belongings so they would be all organized and wouldn't break down during the move. The other great aspect that I noticed about my movers is the fact that they were very polite, hard working, and well-trained. In other words, they were real professionals. Finally, the price that the movers estimated was absolutely fair and accurate, there were no extra charges or hidden fees at the end of the move, so the total price wasn't a surprise for me. And finally, all my belongings arrived to a new place exactly in the same condition as they were before the move (no broken items, no scratches). I was like many ppl skeptical using a moving company to move my items and not to mention across country. From the very start when they called me I was like yeah yeah blah blah because the prices were RIDICULOUS and very much over-price from "Other" interstate moving companies that we see everyday on the highways. From the start Jeff was Awesome he understood I was prepared to rent a truck and that was that. He placed me on hold came back gave me a great price. That wasn't un-reasonable. They coordinated with me in kept me in the loop. The drivers showed up TRULY enjoyed Adam, ERIC, and George! They were so professional made me feel at ease was taking the time to move my belongings gently. No marks, scoffs on my walls, and floors. These guys worked So HARD!!! And we laughed and joked while they still got the job done! This was such a pleasant experience I'm so Glad I used this company. Best part of all THERE was no BAIT and SWITCH! I have a very good moving experience with Long Distance Movers. My office was located very near to them. Me and my co-worker collected many information about this company. Surprisingly we got an opportunity of our apartment move at the same day. They managed all things with packing stuffs, Put into them into boxes and carried out to the right place. I must write about their packing service as they did an absolute magnificent job with every single item of mine. They treat your items like precious jewels. Matthew recommended that I go with their full packing service which at first I thought I would do myself to save money and do my own organizing but I'm glad I went with them instead. I moved nearly two thousand mile across the country and now that I think about it, I'm so glad I had everything professionally packed by them or else a lot of my stuff would have not made it. I didn't even know how to make it, all my friends who promised me to help, refused at the last minute. Long Distance Movers are the best! Moving day is usually very stressful, but these guys made my moving day extremely easy. A team of 2 friendly men helped me move from my 1 bedroom apartment into 2 bedroom apartment (about an hour away). It took them 6 hours, which Is excellent timing. Movers showed up promptly on time and were like little ants rapidly moving/wrapping/packaging our entire apartment. Very speedy - did not take any breaks even when we offered them Gatorade/Water. Moving service includes 10 free boxes and rental of wardrobe boxes so you do not have to buy your own - both of which we found very helpful.
