Price should be like no more than 100$ a month for level 3 tanning. If you're gonna charge an arm and a leg upgrade the beds.

The massage/facial beds are heated and all of products are organic and smell AMAZING so it's kind of like 2 in 1 aromatherapy as you're getting your facial :) They clearly state that the sauna/hot tub is additional on their website, so for the folks griping about that, it's probably best to simply read the info while booking rather than rip them for something that is stated upfront! I never expect to sauna or steam going into a facial service anyways, that just seems like an added perk/not to be expected. I digress.... if you want a perfect self-care day, book at Betty's!

When you go to a spa, you automatically have access to all the spa's amenities. This includes tubs and saunas. There are no spa amenities here. If you are paying premium prices, you would expect a premium experience. Keep looking because you are not going to get that at Betty's Day Spa. To make matters worse, their customer service is horrendous! One would think that, if there is a medical emergency, they would allow you to at the very least reschedule your services. They do not. Thank goodness I do not live here and can go back to my normal masseuse next week.

As for the timeline you described, it isn't accurate. My appointment was on Thursday. I noticed the issue starting on Saturday, and by Tuesday the polish on my big toe was completely off. Getting $10 back for the biggest toe on an $85 service was honestly insulting. She did offer to fix the toe, of course. But by this time, I did not feel comfortable. It had already been two weeks since my appointment. On top of that, the location is in Old Town, so depending on the day you sometimes have to pay for parking. Between gas, parking, and the long delay in communication, going back in was not reasonable. I've had plenty of gel pedicures, and this was by far the worst quality and worst customer service I've ever experienced. I paid premium pricing for a pedicure that didn't last even a few days and took over a week to get any meaningful response. Definitely won't return, and I would not recommend this place at all.

My favorite is Teresa because of her style, she lets you play in class practicing arm balances at a variety of levels. Her yin yoga class is to die for, I feel that my week is set once I've attending this longer well guided class. I have also attended workshops here and enjoyed each one I have gone to. They do have showers which is a huge plus! Towels, yoga mats, weights, straps, blocks, are all in the room and easy to access. Visit the studio and if you've never gone, I recommend a room-temp or yin class .

I enjoyed my 90 minute hot stone massage yesterday and loved my facial that was scheduled today at 11. There are a few quirks that prompt me to leave just four stars. I'm well versed in spa experiences all over the country and hope my comments are helpful. First quirk: Odd two hour limit. If your time enjoying the spa amenities exceeds two hours (either before or after your treatment) you will be charged $30 an hour. I've never seen this rule at any other spa I've been to. Watching the clock does not lend itself to relaxation . Treatments are expensive and this feels like a bit of a money grab. Second quirk- limited hours. This spa is not open on Monday and Tuesday. I found out today the spa doesn't open until 11am on Thursdays (the time of my scheduled appointment). I arrived a little after 10am with a plan to use the hot tub and steam room before my facial. (With that two hour limit in mind). Instead I sat on a step outside. They did open the doors at 10:25. I suggest installing a couple benches outside the entrance. I'm not used to a spa opening so late in the day. I prefer not to use a hot tub or steam after a facial. I like the wonderful products to stay put on my face. Third quirk: It is 2026. Please set up online booking vs the only other option: calling to book services. Please, please, please make this happen! Fourth quirk- consider providing a bowl of apples (or other fruit option) in addition to the complementary Nature Valley bar. Today's bar had 18g carbs 9 g of sugar. Not a healthy choice for people watching their A1C. Note- there are a couple options for purchase and a drink menu available. Loved- the water, coffee, and tea station.
