Signature Breakfast Sandwich- Bacon, egg, and Swiss Cheese.
    Roberta B.

We were in the area and decided to stop in Roasters 'N Toasters for breakfast. We were seated immediately. The waiter brought us water and took our orders. He advised me about the different bagel and lox sandwiches and was pretty funny. The food was very good . I had the Sam Greenberg, which consisted of bagel, lox, cream cheese and chives, capers, chopped tomatoes, onions and jalapeños with lemon. It was amazing. My husband had the Signature Breakfast Sandwich- which consisted of a Kaiser roll, egg, bacon and Swiss cheese. He enjoyed it. We also ordered fresh fruit and turkey sausage. Everything was delicious. I'll definitely go back.

The closest Roasters' n Toasters to my home sadly closed, but I must admit this is the one I like the best. So I made the extra 10 minute drive for my favorite Saturday morning after shul meal. Nova and onion scramble with potato latkes and a bagel with a shmear. The food has always was exceptional and the surface beyond exceptional. I like this one mostly because the restaurant is a little more attractive. But to my surprise and enjoy the bus person from the previous restaurant is now working here. He brightens up the meal and makes the customers feel welcome. At a restaurant that is this busy that is important because the waitress reminded me of a tornado and how quickly she went from table to table and expertly managed getting all the food out as quickly as possible, and all the orders taken even more quickly. This is as close to a New York style deli as you're going to find in Kendall. They are still interested in customer service and are the only ones locally that will still bring you complementary coleslaw and pickles. Their house sour pickles are awesome in their coleslaw is among the best around. Serving this gratis like the kosher delis in New York just makes you feel special as a customer. But there are many other reasons why you feel special here. My meal was great. The service was great. The restaurant is great. There's plenty of free parking. Love this place, will be back, highly recommend.

    Saturday crowd!

If you like NYC delis you'll LOVE it here!! They are serving up old world traditions that will satisfy the old AND modern tastes. It's crazy crowded here, Saturday lunch, but they acknowledge and seat us directly. At a time when you are used to paying more for less, Roasters continues all the old "niceties". We were served by the most vivacious Savannah, who flashes a million dollar smile. WOW--staff here sparkles and boy are they on it. She gives us TWO complimentary cole slaw and pickle dishes to start, at a time when other local unnamed delis now start charging for pickles! (I'm looking at you-Lots of L**) I get my chicken noodle soup bowl with house bagel chips and hubby gets nova and eggs, potato latke side with seeded rye toast and coffee. They keep us refilled immediately-wow! The prices are commensurate with the area, food quality spot on and large portions. Ambience is live and buzzy, Free coffee/tea refills. If you have a hankering for deli, this will hit the spot! We'll be back again and again. Roasters, you show them how it's done! Thanks for following me, happy 2026! *Expert tip-join their loyalty mensch club app!

Absolutely delicious Original Challah French Toast

Stopped here at Roasters 'N Toasters for the first time. Upon arriving the parking lot was packed. We did find parking though. The location was very busy. We were seated right away. Unfortunately, we did not have a server stop by our table for at least 15 minutes. The location was quite loud, but it was super busy. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the French toast and it is by far some of the tastiest French toast I have ever had. Just delicious. The side order of house potatoes were cold. The sausage and eggs were also good. The other person in my party had a half roast beef and matzo ball soup. They said it was really good. The flavors were just wonderful. The coleslaw was incredible as well. So creamy, fresh, and sweet. Perfection! The coffee was also great. The only thing for losing a star was our server. After taking our order she was not as attentive as I saw others. We searched for her to ask for additional needs. That was the only thing we wished were better. Overall it was delicious food though. I'd go back on occasion as long as the service is better.

Been here a long time and for good reason. Went in for late breakfast. I had the avocado toast served on rye with poached eggs in top. It comes with and excellent salad. The wife had eggs and bacon also excellent.

Bagel (garlic) with Chive Cream Cheese

Very nice brunch spot! Especially for a quick meal. I got the Old Jewish Man because I love lox bagels, and I was not disappointed. I was offered the choice which type of lox I would want, but I got the basic one because I didn't want it too salty. I was very pleased with how much lox I received and overall my meal was very delicious. My mom is always a fan of their garlic and chives cream cheese, and I admit it's quite flavorful and fresh when paired with one of their in-house bagels. Inside is clean but a little cramped in my opinion. This restaurant gets very busy so if you want to come for a weekend brunch meal, come early!

Matzah ball - part of Half Soup Half Sandwich Combo

So yum!!!! It's hard to believe I've never been to Roasters and Toasters in all my years visiting family in Miami. But I'm definitely going back!! You can tell the locals go often - our server knew a bunch by name. It was buzzing at 11;30am and packed by 12:15pm on a weekday. What a menu l!!!! So much to choose from. We settled on the soup and sandwich combo. OMG - the bowl of soup was HUGE. We would have expected a cup but a bowl? Wow! Holy moly. We had the 1/2 chopped liver sandwich and the (ginormous) bowl of split pea soup and the 1/2 pastrami sandwich (sorry, no pic - we ate it quickly!) with matzah ball soup. The pea soup was well seasoned with pepper and rich; the matzah ball soup was a little flimsy and could have used some salt but the matzah ball was nice and fluffy. Our server was terrific (sadly can't remember her name) and gave us great service with a smile. She also took the time to explain how the app works too and patiently answered our questions. I washed down my meal with a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda, the perfect accompaniment to a delicious deli meal. I will be back!!

Wow! Searched for a friendly, good old school breakfast place. Look no more. If you want a fast, delicious, home made treat hit this place. In Miami these places are rapidly disappearing. What a treasure

The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

I happened to be in the area so I checked out this place which was pretty cool. They had bar seating, couch seating with tables as well as outdoor seating. A lot of people were there working on their computers while having drinks and pastries. I had a salted caramel latte which I ordered at the computer and was served quickly. I requested it with oat milk, but it was made with whole milk and the barista had no issue remaking it for me, which was nice. The flavor was amazing with just the right amount of salt and caramel; it was not too sweet and it was very smooth. The only issue I had was the parking, there was absolutely no place to park so I had to double park in an alley and run in to get my drink. However, I imagine if you live or work in the area it would be a cute place to pop in and get a beverage. They also had empanadas and some various pound cake slices which people were partaking in so I imagine they were decent.

When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum!
