Customers who don't wait to be called. 2 ~ Common courtesy? I always wait to be called. ~ She may need a few minutes to document some things, first. ~ She's an adult. Let me treat her with an adult's courtesy. 3 ~ Chelsea's response? "Thank you for your patience."??? Not so much. Try an exasperated, impatient, sarcastic, scolding "I'll take the next customer. Just READ THE SIGNS, folks." She was evidently referring to the "Open" sign, which of course read "Open" for the previous 10 minutes, when she'd been waiting on the previous customer. Nothing had changed, and she was literally hidden behind an enormous partition, so common courtesy compelled me to presume nothing, and to kindly await her. I can't read minds, you see, nor see through partitions. And yet her tone CLEARLY conveyed that she imagined herself to be dealing not with a Gentleman, but with an idiot. Ironically, she was correct. She was only mistaken in how closely the idiot was sitting. * The Doc and others were excellent.

Where Kittery Eye falls down is in its customer service. I was assured that if, after trying progressive lenses for a week I was unable to adjust, I could simply come back and they would make it right. What a fantastic lie this was! Sure, I was able to come back, and they were able to change my lens to a standard lens, but the technician told me I'd need to speak to a manager to discuss a refund of the difference in lens price. I tried to contact the manager two days in a row about getting refunded the $250 difference between the progressive lens and the standard lens, and was told each time that they had already left for the day. When I finally did reach him, he was extremely rude and dismissive. Long story short, I was charged nearly $800 for a standard lens in a cheap frame! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your eye care.

I really thought I would have to get new glasses ASAP. But, I looked up Kittery Eye at Wells, stopped in, and 10 mins later we were walking out with both issues resolved! You can barely even tell anything happened. These glasses are only a year old and now I can still plan to get another year out of them. THANKS Kittery Eye!
