I chose Wheaton eye clinic from an Americas Best referal. The Dr. was great answered all my…read moreconcern. My question is how in the world does a Eye appointment take 2.5 + hrs..Check in was very unorganized I did precheck in papers on line and had to do them again there. The whole place seemed extremely chaotic. The pre exam rooms had no ceiling and you could hear the exam next to you.. very old outdated building. After 25 min the first lady took me.. she did tests after she was done she said I have to see if they want me to do more of course they did.I was then brought to another lady she did more testing....they brought to a man he did more testing..I feel this was all to prolong the situation because the dr was backed up.They really need to stop over booking. The patients time is valuable too. It was now going on 2 hrs I had to ask when they were going to call me back. Finally 15 min later the brought me to a room where I waited another 15 min .I was finally seen by the dr. then a few more tests? All this was supposed to be is a cataract appointment.I spent less time with the Dr than anyone else. At checkout I literally had to ask the guy for a print out.It was almost like I was bothering him.I had to walk up to him he didn't even call me up. They want to see me in a year .I'm wondering if the one in Geneva is any better? If. It for the Dr.Im not sure I would come back.

Just a profit focused business. I had my cataract surgery here and had problems. Then they charged…read moreanother $9,000 to improve them. They use unskilled workers to do exams that can't speak clear English. Now waiting 2 hours to see Dr.

During the appointment, the doctor was extremely rude and condescending while explaining the patient's eyesight condition. I was shocked by her lack of empathy and her mean-spirited tone. At one point, she even stated, "Why are you here? We are not going to treat your eye condition." We were well aware of the situation, but were attending the clinic for a necessary yearly visit. Furthermore, throughout our visit, the doctor was pacing from room to room while yelling at her staff, which created a very uncomfortable environment. Due to this experience, we will never return to this clinic, nor will we refer anyone else to your practice. I believe it is important for you to be aware of how patients are being treated. (She was an Asian/female) - of course I can be wrong on her nationality she was short.

Well Dr K said I had I had a stroke and must drive to the nearest Emergency Room. My eyes were still dilated and the road wasn't easy to see. Eventually and carefully made it home taking 2 roads and called an ambulance . By the grace of God, I made to the hospital safely where I am now. I had contacted the clinic and reported the situation. "Dr K" called me with a sickeningly sweet apology.
