There is a bar with drinks and food options that opens at noon. The water is crystal clear and not over chlorinated. Water is a perfect temp to cool down in. It is open to the sky without building interference. Music in the background and a leafy fence to make the air conditioners invisible. There is a bit of noise from those on one end but not unbearable. There are also a few poolside games like bags, large Jenga and a sort of bucket toss. One downside is the lack of outlets and no hotel WiFi. Would recommend if you have some down time!

The staff was kind and the park had more than enough police presence to keep it safe.

I was able to sit in one central location and see the entire park and my daughter. There is plenty to do from the multiple slides and obstacle courses but once a child is over 48 inches they are no longer able to ride. For now I will mark this as a favorite because momma was able to rest. There wasn't a line which was amazing and they now accept reservations. No vending machines or concessions so make sure you bring your own snacks and food. Lastly plenty of shades space and opportunities for seating and picnic tables .

It's such a great spot to burn summer energy and also practice water skills. I found the lifeguards to be really attentive and constantly counting the swimmers in their sections. My kids absolutely love the big and small waterslides and rode them about 20 times over the course of an hour or two. Even just a few days before the Fourth of July holiday, because we were there first thing, there were no lines, and things ran smoothly. So yea, I was coaxed into an early morning water Zumba class, sweetened with an offer to pay. I pull up to the center, after a not so pleasant encounter with the owners at Atlantic Carry Out ( I spoke about 2 words to them and they said two to me). My friend is wide awake...and bubbling. We arrived to the water a tad late, but was welcomed in by the instructor's boisterous voice (Eric). I didn't think water Zumba would be difficult, not having done it before, but I will tell you that its not for punks. My body is still burning, but my back was unharmed. I had a great time. Chilled with some old ladies in the shallow end of the pool after the class, and relaxed a bit in the jacuzzi. The facility was clean and I noticed that they have a lot of activities for kids/family (several levels of summer camp was in session when I arrived). 4 whole stars

Adelphi provides a great community with regular family-friendly activities and events. They also offer amenities like swim lessons and a swim team for kids. The hours extend beyond the typical pool (open to 9:30pm), they allow you to bring in and order food or access to their grills, they have a good amount of lounge chairs, and even when it is crowded, it is not overwhelming with all of the space and sections that the pool offers. Staff is also friendly and do a great job balancing safety with fun. It is not easy to get to and depending on your frequency of visits, the cost probably comes out to around $20-30 per person per visit (assuming about 2 visits per open week). The amenities and community are nice and it's up to you on whether you will visit frequently enough to justify the cost.
