While I try to downplay these appointments (having had them every three years!), they're never exactly fun and yet your team consistently makes the entire process feel comfortable and reassuring. From the kind receptionist who patiently explained the paperwork, to Mary in pre-op who took the time to walk me through everything and put me at ease, to the nurses who cared for me so warmly and seamlessly every interaction reflected genuine kindness. Even with so many patients moving through each day, your office never feels impersonal. That really stands out. I especially appreciated my doctor checking in multiple times to reintroduce himself and make sure I felt informed and comfortable. Thank you all for the compassion and professionalism you show. It truly radiates throughout your practice. And I'm especially grateful to be leaving with good news yay! I don't have to return for five whole years!

Their phone number is: 425.259.3122 I was referred by my doctor (by FAX) to the above facility for an endoscopy on October 1st, 2020. My doctor sent me a letter saying if they don't call you for an appointment, I have to get them to schedule one. Nobody called me, so after waiting for one week, I called them. Their tape says I have to wait ten business days for WESTERN WA MEDICAL GROUP to contact me to schedule an appointment. After ten business days, I called every day, left VMs, and nobody called me back. Lucky me, one day, I got them during their lunchtime and was able to talk to a live person from an answering service. She was very friendly and took care of me. After talking to her the next day, a scheduler coordinator called me to schedule my consultation visit w/a doctor. I asked her why it took over 14 business days to call me back. She said they are super swamped; they get 2,000 fax referrals per day (I don't believe it). My question was, why don't you hire more people to help you? She said they are in the process of doing so. I requested to talk to her supervisor. The supervisor was not available and was supposed to call me back in 2 business days. It's two business WEEKS, and nobody called me back. How come they are still in the business is beyond me? Meanwhile, I called different gastroenterologists, talked to a live person (not a tape) got an appointment! My new GI doctor has over 100 reviews w/five stars. Western WA Medical Group doctors have three reviews of 1 star and one review of 4 stars. Unbelievable! STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR HEALTH!

His office has all the nice accoutrements you want: clean waiting room, short wait times with prompt appointments, friendly nurses etc but you really come here for the man. He practices out of Evergreen and he is like an urban legend there or something. Everybody knows him, respects him. If you gotta get cut open, he's the guy you want holding the scalpel for sure.

After extensive research, I selected Dr. Towbin. Even my gastroenterologist said that if he had a hernia that he too would go to Dr. Towbin -- that really reassured me. Dr. Towbin and the staff was great throughout the entire experience. The surgery was successful. I felt very little pain afterwards thanks to his skill . Within 3 days, I was walking around. Tomorrow I am going in for my one month post-op visit. I back to normal now. I recommend him to anyone living in the Kirkland area who needs this surgery done.

She investigated my symptoms thoroughly and listened to all my medical concerns. Both me and my husband have seen her for treatment and were very satisfied with the care we received. My examinations included endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy and my husband had a colonoscopy. All of these procedures were conducted flawlessly. It's hard to find doctors like Dr. Parker. We highly recommend her. Also, the facility is very clean and the nurses and staff are all kind, helpful and patient.

I get a text message saying I need to pick up the stuff I had to drink, well can't do that without prescription, and then I find out the physician is female for which I am not comfortable with, male doctors should only be attending male patients. I don't want some strange woman looking at my privates, I'm married thank you very much. Frankly, the better part of me finds the whole thing rather uncomfortable and embarrassing really. Above all, I had to cancel twice seeing as no one can get message once. Canceled it and choosing possibly another place that doesn't expect patients to do their job. She treated me less than human and was frankly, unkind from the moment she walked in the door. If I hadn't waited over a month for an appointment with this office, I would have gotten up and walked out 10-20 seconds in. I thought "there's no way that this could get any worse" but it did. There seemed to be no "care" here and I left feeling more alone and scared than I did before my appointment. Patients come to these appointments on some of their worst days, having been cast off by overwhelmed Emergency Departments and/or PCPs who find GI issues outside of their scope. We are people who are scared, who are in pain, who are struggling to manage an "unseen" illness that greatly impacts our days - yet continue to support our families, to work, to maintain some semblance of a normal life - even as we know "something isn't right". I just wanted to be heard, respected, and helped. I worked in a hospital for 6 years. I would NEVER treat anyone the way that Sharon treated me. If I ever had? I would have expected to be IMMEDIATELY FIRED. I was hoping for help, for kindness, for understanding; for just one healthcare professional to actually listen and to take me seriously. The reason I am glad…read moreto be here is that I am having my consult for an endoscopy that puts me one step closer to weight loss surgery (there's a LOT of steps and this is one). Additionally, I am here to be screened for colon cancer after 2 of my friends under 40 have been diagnosed in the last 18 months. Can't be too careful. Scheduling was a mixed bag... the wait to talk to someone after you push the right button was kind of long, but I feel like if you know that going into it, it's ok because you can be prepared to wait. Once I did get on the phone with them, scheduling was painless and quick. They asked questions actually wanted to know WHY I was scheduling - not expecting me to know, since I am not a medical professional - and making sure they set me up with the right kind of provider. I initially was scheduled next month, but I called again to see if there was a sooner opening and there was! So, they set me up with that. They also made sure I knew how to get here. Getting parked and into the building was easy - suite 330, so regardless of which side of 2202 you park on, just grab the elevator or stairs to the third floor and follow the signs! Getting checked in as a new patient was surprisingly smooth. They mailed me my paperwork ahead of time, so having that done, I was checked in and waiting in plenty of time for my appointment. Will update on quality of care once I've met with my PA and scheduled with a doctor for a procedure.

Asked them to cover my out of pocket expenses, only $375. Refused all responses to multiple requests. Unprofessional, irresponsible and downright dangerous. If you value your life, avoid WAGI in Puyallup.
