Even though I was simply a stranger on the phone with my first call, I was out at ease and felt I was in great hands. They were non-judgmental in regards to my extreme anxiety of dental work, explained everything thoroughly beforehand and expertly answered all of my questions to make me feel welcomed and educated. I was told I needed a root canal, trusted the recommendation, and from there everything went downhill. The crown fell off, was replaced, and never fit correctly. I went back multiple times for adjustments, but my bite was never right and the pain never stopped. What's worse, I was refused routine cleanings for TWO YEARS because the dentist insisted on fixing this one tooth--something that never actually got resolved. I even asked about removing the tooth and was repeatedly dismissed. Finally, I sought a second opinion. Turns out the tooth was fractured and infected all along and should have been pulled from the beginning. Now I'm dealing with an abscess and a much bigger problem than I started with. This was a long, frustrating, and painful experience that could have been avoided. Please do yourself a favor--get a second opinion before committing to major work here

As I sat in the chair they told me that first the doctor will look at my x rays and after the hygienist will come and check out my gums. They did NOT give me a choice on the hygienist look. The doctor came in, she was kind and told me that the problem was in my retainer which was pretty reasonable. 20 minutes later the hygienist walks in. She started looking at my gums. Again, no one asked me whether I wanted her to do that or not. I wanna point that out. After she was done, she talked to me standing, staring into the computer, which is fine. Busy people I guess. The end of my visit was the worst part. The "finance" lady came in. Not sure what her title of the job is. She brought me to her desk and started talking about the hygienist treatment that I never asked for. Asking if I will be looking at financing and stuff. Again I came in just for tooth pain which was caused by my retainer. I politely declined the treatment, saying that I will be flying back home and maybe there my doctor can look at that. Which after I heard "then why did you come in today ?" I told her "I came in with tooth pain which was caused by my retainer" She replied "Maybe I am not understanding something, why did you set up an appointment?" "Why did you come in?" ...like I came there for nothing. At that point she was just trying to make me feel stupid. Saying out of pocket remarks... and asking when I will be flying back home. The…read morehygienists and clinical staff who worked on our teeth were always kind, patient, and professional, and I still appreciate the care they provided. However, after a few more visits, my experience with the administrative and billing side of the office changed my opinion. My son's temporary crown came off a couple of times, which required repeat visits. Everyone remained friendly, but it was still inconvenient. The bigger issue for me happened during my own appointment. I had already paid my portion in advance, and the remaining balance was supposed to be billed to my insurance. I stopped at the desk just to double-check that I didn't owe anything before leaving, and was told they "never know if or what insurance will pay." That immediately raised questions for me because I've never heard that before, and I've never had issues with my insurance not paying. When I asked for clarification, I was met with rude, dismissive responses and passive remarks that made it sound like my insurance might not cover anything. She acted annoyed that I even asked questions after her comments. When I stepped out of the office I realized I had forgotten something and walked back in to retrieve it, two staff members were visibly laughing, clearly about the situation and my questions. That was extremely unprofessional and honestly hurtful. I left feeling very disrespected. I want to be clear that I'm not taking anything away from the hygienists or dental staff, they were wonderful. But overall, the experience was so disappointing. There are too many dentists out there to tolerate being treated disrespectfully, especially when the questions I asked were legitimate. This whole situation could have been handled in a completely different way, and we all could have gone on with our day feeling professionally satisfied.

This office managed to get me in within a couple of days. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by the staff. Everyone was very nice and understanding. I went back for X-rays within a few minutes, then took a seat in the dentist's chair. I explained to Tina what happened. I also explained that, as a disabled vet, money is not something I have large quantities of. Tina absolutely went above and beyond and saved me from having either crippling debt or a lost tooth. She gave me some extremely helpful advice involving my benefits, and the main thing is? She didn't have to. She didn't have to help me with something not involving the clinic. She did anyway, and that speaks volumes to me. She also was able to fix my crown temporarily, so I could at least walk around without an exposed (and very painful) nerve in my mouth. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. Because of my experience, I will always recommend the dental clinic to anyone who asks!
