First of all, Jason Beardsley is the MAN to go to and do business with. He was able to get my husband set up with a good reliable car. I honestly quite enjoyed talking with Jason. Now, this interaction ALONE would have gotten this business 5 Stars...the reason why i am marking this 3 stars is due to Ray Velasquez. This man has a fragile ego and will make snide comments if you say anything to the effect of not wanting extra miscellaneous warranties (they are a waste of money TO ME and is SHIT i don't need). He stated "I guess people prefer to pay full price for their repairs." WOW. Someone got their feelings hurt yet this is a PROFESSIONAL TRANSCATION. I purchased a 2020 Explorer ST new from Robert Horne. The sale was easy and fair. The vehicle has always been serviced at Robert Horne. I have had two unnormal service experiences with them and they had no interest in resolving them. The first one was a few years ago when the vehicle had a serious vibrate at highway speed. The vehicle had less than 20,000 and never in an accident. I had their service department inspect the cause of the vibration and was told the tires needed to be replaced and they offered to replace them at 20,000 miles for $3,000. I refused as the tire wear was normal and it was an issue with the tire, not maintenance. I contacted the tire manufacture, Ford Corporate and NHSTA. After some research by myself, the tire manufacture placed pads inside the tire to reduce road noise, but with the heat in Arizona, they come loose inside and cause the vibrate. The solution was to remove the pad, which the dealer did, after my research. They should be doing this and know this is a known issue with this tire. My current problem, with 30,000 miles, is the dealer is again telling me I need $3,100 of work for a front seal that is leaking. Now remind you, they are the only ones that have ever touched this vehicle. The service writer showed me photos of it, and I questioned why this was not brought to my attention previously as you can see it has been leaking for some time. Did they do this intentionally to let the vehicle get out of warranty? I did research and found this too is a common issue. I then contacted Ford Motor Company. I immediately received a call from Sayda Mendoza and has been doing everything she can to help me. She told me Ford would be covering this but needed to contact the dealer. It has been two weeks now and she has left several messages for the Service Manager Ramey, and she is telling me he will not reply to her. WOW! The service manager will not call back a representative from Ford? Not teamwork and I am sure if I tried to call, I would have no better luck. She has told me she has escalated this on her side. I told her I can take it to San Tan Ford to resolve the issue. She will reach out to San Tan Ford. Think twice about buying from Robert Horne if you plan to use their service department. Today (March 19th) I called Robert Horne, as the Ford Corporate representative informed me that she still had not received any updates. I asked to speak with the owner but was transferred to Brett. I'm not sure of his title, but once I explained the reason for my call, he seemed genuinely interested in helping. He identified me by my phone number, said he had printed out all of my paperwork, and told me he would transfer me to someone he believed could assist. That person was on another call, so he placed me on hold. While I was waiting, he checked in several times to let me know he was still working on it. On his last update, the call disconnected -- I'm hoping it was accidental. I waited for a call back, but none came. We own a 2023 Entegra Expanse that we have taken to Robert Horne Ford for oil changes. Recently, they contacted us, wanting to know if we wanted to sell the camper van. We have considered selling it, so we contacted the dealership (May 19, 2026) and were put in touch with, Joe, the manager over Used Vehicles. He said he was "very interested" in the vehicle and asked for photos, mileage and VIN. We sent all of that info immediately, including 17 photos. Later that day, he sent us the following text: "When you are just looking at Kelley Blue Book, the vehicle is not valued properly. After digging in deeper, I'd say 35 - 38 (thousand dollars). It's a rare find without much research available." Clearly, Joe is in the wrong business. Not much research available? Are you kidding? Go to an RV dealer site...RV Trader, LaMesa...and you will have all of the info you need and then some! There is nothing wrong with our camper van, has 44,000 miles and plenty of upgrades so Joe has no idea what he is talking about. So, we responded to Joe and suggested that he research these RV sites or others and get back to us with a reasonable offer. On May 27, 2026, having heard nothing from Joe, we texted him, asking for an update. It is now June 18, 2026 and no response. It is evident that he is as lazy as the day is long! Update: I did reach out to the GM Billy, HE DOES NOT REPLY TO HIS EMAILS. I purchased a brand new 2026 Ford F-350 Dually diesel from Robert Horne Ford in Apache Junction, AZ on April 22, 2026. This was the only dealership in Arizona that had the exact truck configuration I was looking for, so I worked directly with my salesman Lemuel and sales manager Dedrick to complete the deal, including trading in my brand new 2026 Ford F-250 diesel. Unfortunately, my experience after delivery has been extremely disappointing. I requested walk-around photos and a video before delivery, but none were ever provided. The truck was delivered directly to my home when they picked up my trade-in, and I did not inspect it beforehand. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed significant issues with the finish on the brand new black truck. There are heavy swirl marks, scratches, and widespread hard water spotting etched into the clear coat across nearly every panel. There also appears to be damage consistent with improper buffing and detailing techniques, along with areas that look like dried soap or chemical residue was left on the surface. In addition, there is overspray-like contamination on the bed area and chrome rear bumper, along with scratches and marring throughout the entire vehicle. When we immediately brought this to management's attention, Dedrick initially agreed they would take care of the repairs. However, after receiving independent repair estimates ranging from approximately $1,450 to $1,750, he later changed course and said they would instead try to have their in-house detailers correct the damage. Given that the damage appears to have been caused during their own preparation and detailing process, I do not feel comfortable allowing the same in-house team to attempt the repair. My concern is that further correction attempts could make the condition worse and potentially escalate the issue to needing a full repaint. Because this is a brand new, high-end vehicle, I believe the appropriate resolution is for an independent, qualified professional to correct the damage rather than additional in-house attempts. In my experience, the situation has not been handled in a way that reflects the value of the purchase or the condition the vehicle should have been delivered in. I have never experienced anything like this with a new vehicle purchase. I am sharing this so other buyers can make an informed decision. read more

Bought a 2020F250 from Horne Ford. Went in for a oil change, and they said I had a transmission leak, and differential leak. Scheduled an appointment and when in for service. Told them I bought an extended warranty when I bought it and that should cover the drive train. They had it five days, and Miraculously the leak fixed itself. Both transmission and differential. So that tells me they were looking to take my money, until they found out I had a warranty. Beware of places like Horne Ford. I'll never go there again. I drove 10 hours to buy my new maveric,the sales man was great! But the sales manager was a comple A hole! We had an appointment at 10.30 he didn't see me till 2. He was pissed because I didn't want the extended warranty. He told me my buddies can fix my truck when it breaks then goes on to say my interest rate went to 6.6 from 6.4 saying I had a 600 score.total bs ,I have a 810 score and got a letter weeks later from the dealership saying it was 810 score. What really pisses me off is I didn't need a loan,could of paid for it cash and I had told him that. My book keeper told me to put it on payments to write it off. Purchased a used car from this dealer on January 3, 2026. The only complaint we have and maybe a warning to potential buyers is to be sure to review the final contract/invoice line by line. After inspecting and taking the car for a test drive, the salesman did the usual pitch about purchasing the car. At that time he mentioned that it looked like there was still warranty coverage for the paint. When we met with the financial advisor he asked us about purchasing a service warranty which covers certain mechanical parts and quoted us the price for a 2 year or 3 year warranty. We declined as the cost was higher than what we wanted to spend. It did seem like he did get a bit annoyed but we were not going to purchase something we didn't feel comfortable with. Next we get to signing the usual forms that come with purchasing a vehicle. He didn't really go through each form visually, just verbally rattled off what each form was. After about a month of owning the car, I took a look at the paperwork and noticed a charge for $999.00. Seems we had purchased a Smart Shield warranty which covers the paint which we didn't realize we were buying. After reading the warranty coverage we also learned that this warranty cannot be cancelled and it can only be transferred within 30 days of purchase. Unfortunately we will be transferring the title to our daughter and will have missed the time frame to transfer this warranty. I've dealt with Horne since 2011 when I bought a new F350 Diesel and a new Explorer in 2020. Until recently they've always provided good service on both. Apparently something has changed recently because it seems the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. On 3/5/26 I had the Explorer in for service which was without incident. At that time the advisor, Rami, said a rear shock was leaking and advised it be replaced and gave me a quote. I agreed to have it done and he said they would have to order it. OK. Nearly 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing. On 3/16 I call and talk to a different advisor, don't remember his name, and he said he would forward info to Rami. 10 days later, still no response. On 3/27 I call again and get the operator and advise her of the situation. She says she'll forward the info to Rami. Still no call back from anyone. On 3/30 I send an email to Horne expressing my disappointment and frustration. A few hours later I get a call from a female sales person who says she got the email. She says she'll forward it to Rami. Still no response. On 4/6 I get a voice mail and a text from Dustin saying they received the parts and to call for an appointment. On 4/7 I called and get Branden. He says he can take care of it so I schedule the appointment for 4/10 @ 7:30. I arrive on time and Branden tells me they don't have the part there and would have to get it from the warehouse probably later that day or the next. I told him to forget it. Reading some other recent reviews it appears there are quite a few other customers with the same concerns. Responses from management to those reviews seem to all be the same. Apologies and comments like 'Horne Ford works hard to provide complete customer satisfaction'. However it's obvious they aren't doing anything to provide solutions. With an imminent cross-country move from Arizona to Florida, and our current vehicle pushing 300,000 miles, we decided it was time to purchase a new truck! We initially reached out to Robert Horne by phone, and connected with Jana, who was very responsive and helpful in setting up a time to come by and look at new F150's. Upon arriving at the dealership, we found Jana to be very personable, knowledgeable, and not at all high-pressure, like so many car salespeople can be. We found a 2021 F150 Super crew cab with everything we wanted, and put a deposit down to hold it (our new Florida home was escrow & didn't want to mess that up by purchasing a vehicle). The entire purchasing experience was fairly smooth, but we were disappointed that Robert Horne was unwilling to negotiate the vehicle price AT ALL, even though we brought a $20,000 down payment AND a credit score of OVER 800 to the table. They were also adamant about their dealer add-ons, which were not only overpriced, but unnecessary. The gentleman in the finance department was somewhat high pressure, and all business. I don't remember his name - he had no name tag, and there was no name plaque on his desk - maybe for a reason.....Anyway, not a big fan of HIM or his pressure to get the extended service plan, but I suppose that's his job.... In the end, they did budge on one little thing for us, which as a super low-risk customer with EXCEPTIONAL credit, we appreciate. I scheduled an oil change for 8:00, got there at 7:45. A person interacted with me right away with a serve representative helping a few minute later. He did his picture taking, asked a few questions and off the truck went to the "quick Lane". It was said to me it'll take an hour. I received my truck back two hours later with some excuse "We are moving to a new dispatch system and it is taking some getting used to." Ford logos all over the email, it was really sent by a third party entity that somehow got my name, car model and year, and contact information. THIS is why I stopped buying and servicing my Fords from them and instead drive from Gold Canyon PAST R. H. Ford to go to San Tan Ford who thankfully doesn't sell my personal information to third party marketers. I asked for a full vehicle inspection, along with an oil leak fix on a vehicle I had purchased recently. I reached out through email that states a manager will call you within 24 hours or something similar but big surprise, they never did.  So, here I am to warm others... We had several recalls and a fix that was covered under warranty.  We were needing to get in ASAP because the warranty was almost expired by our milage I think.  Anyway, this was the only Ford dealership near us that could get us an appointment within a timely manner.  Should have been a red flag right there.  So, out appointment was on a Wednesday to drop off and our car would need to stay for several days.  Husband called the Friday morning before to inquire about a loaner vehicle because this is our main car to get kids to and from school,.work, activities, life in general.  Left a message for our service representative....no call back.  Monday he called again, no call back.  Tuesday he called twice and no call back.  I called on Tuesday as well (call number #5) and was on hold forever.  Finally someone (not our rep) answered and said they could help.  I explained that our car was being dropped off tomorrow and would be staying there for a few days. I told this person that we have not received a phone call and we've been calling about a loaner car. He stated to me that they do do loaners. They might be out of them but in that case they use Enterprise. He stated that I were rep was probably working it out with the managers and he would give me a call back that morning or by the end of the day at the latest. I stated that I really needed a call back because I need to work out something for a car that I will be out of for a couple days. He stated that he definitely would let the rep know and the rep is the only one who would be able to help us with this issue. Surprise surprise, no call... Day, drop off my husband asked about the loner. Once again the rep said he would have to work it out with a manager and he would give us a call. Now at this point we are dropping off a car, this is kind of ridiculous at this point and he knew that there was nothing that we were going to do about it. If it were me I would have had left without dropping my car. In case you were wondering no we never did get a loaner and never got a call from anyone about one. Second issue is my car was supposed to be done in 2 days by the end of the second day. We had not heard anything and called to inquire about the status. We were told that they were still waiting on a part and they should receive it by the following morning and my car would be ready by 10:00 a.m. that next morning and they would call us. Well, the next morning came and went and about 11:30 we had to call because we still didn't receive a call back. They informed us that our car would be ready by the end of the day. So, the car was not ready in 2 days, it was not ready by 10:00 a.m. The following morning and they're communication is horrific. We also had asked about checking on three other items that were acting up in the car. This included the sunroof, information screen for calls and a window in the back that would squeak. We were then told that for them to look into this it would have to stay even longer. Now they've already had several days to check this and would have received a lot of money in order to fix these items had they just taken the time to check it, so they lost a big sale. Lastly, after receiving my car back, I noticed that they had placed something very large and heavy on the passenger side dashboard. This caused indentations in my dash, not stains but indentations that I can't get out because now it's imprinted and my dashboard. So, they gave my car back with damage. I really don't know how this repair service at this dealership is still in business because we can't be the only ones who have had issues. Here I can tell you that we would never go back to this dealership or to the repair shop here. I went to get an oil change on my Escape about two weeks ago. My oil change was done on a Saturday. Took my car home, left it parked until Sunday morning. As I was driving, there was a loud, obnoxious noise - I stopped, saw that something was hanging off of the front of my car. Sure enough, the engine splash shield hadn't been put back on properly. I was pulled over by an officer on my way home and he kindly let me know I couldn't drive like that. I was headed home anyways. No big deal. I called on Sunday - a day which they're closed, and left a message. Monday morning I called back, and finally got through to someone. They sent me right to the mobile service department during which the man I spoke with said that the oil tech more than likely forgot to put a screw or two back in. They sent someone out with a temporary fix - the temporary fix being plastic zip ties for the underneath to hold the splash shield up. During this, the tech said that one of the screw holes had been busted which probably was the cause. I hadn't heard anything back about a permanent fix to a problem their oil tech created and the zip ties broke, leaving one of the shields hanging again. I called back again yesterday to ask about any updates and was met with they would not be replacing the shield as it was likely due to wear and tear when the first time I had called it was because their tech lost screws. My options were I could either have the shields removed (opening the potential to cause even more damage) or I could buy new ones from them so they could replace what they broke. I was then sent to the manager who said he would have the techs come out and add heavy duty screws to hold the shields into place, but that was all that could be done. The techs came out, were here for less than five minutes, and they showed me a picture of the underneath and said that's just how it'll look now. Nothing they said that would be fixed got fixed and my splash shield is still partially hanging. Definitely would not recommend. read more

I was in for an oil change. I called when the Service Dept. opened and was there in about 30 minutes. They took me right in and overall the car was done in about 45 minutes. While I was there I interacted with the Sales Dept., the Parts Dept. as well as the Service Dept. What I left wit his there are a polite group of people working there and they do very good work. Very upset with how they treated my daughter & how they conducted on not standing by their warranty work by pointing out a different issue. Can't trust them! All smiles at the beginning but very condescending when challenged. Do not do business with them! read more
