Have been there a couple of times to see if they could match new car prices and they could not. No problem. However, my mother-in-law just passed away and I found her sales contract for a 2023 Chevy Trailblazer LT with no upgrades. I found the initial sticker and the new MSRP + Destination Charge was $25,635. Well, they sold it to her used with almost 20k miles for base price of $27,500 in January 2026. Then convinced her to purchase a worthless protection plan and a couple more add-ons including a $500 window tint warranty for already tinted windows, the price out the door was over $33K. They saw an old lady by herself and pounced. She hardly drove it maybe 500 miles and KBB says its worth 18,100 and trade-in value of less than 16k. I will make sure to steer people away from Chapman Chevy any chance I get. read more

Just a little update! Things aren't nessesary on the up & up over here at Chapman. Things would have been ok, had I not been LIED to. I was charged $250 for some security system for the vehicle should it get stolen. I have zero concerns about my car getting stolen & had I been asked about this option, I would have said No. Instead, later after the sale, I start getting calls to install this system. when I called the dealership and inquired about this, I was told by the finance manager Paul that I had agreed to it. My signature is right there. So is his! He told me I agreed to this before I even got into his office!! I gave nobody my signature until I was in his office and using a tablet to do so. My salesman did all his work on a computer of which I never touched all the signatures on my paperwork are from this finance manager. It's an auto sign somewhere on there there's an X that's marked to say that I wanted this. I never marked an X in the box. Paul told me that my salesman sold it to me. Salesman says no and then crickets. They are refusing to do anything else about this since I signed the contract ha ha. Bad taste in my mouth for that one. Changed my mind about my experience! I would NOT recommend this place anymore. Not if they can't take care of you once you signed on the line, they are done! Sneaky sh!t! Love my car, but it's a Toyota! read more

I have been to Chapman before for the same 2023 service. Champman service quote repair estimates given out $200.00 for alignment week before. I have 38,000 miles on 2023 trail boss. I bought new. Then (1.2.26) when drop off my 2022 Chevrolet trail boss at service they quote me $2,000 repair bill for repairs I did not approve, much less needed. Remember, I have documents showing no repairs needed on first visit week before. IF GM Motors is selling Silvardro's trail bosses which need expensive repairs at 38,000 miles of $2,000 plus, buy a Ford, Toyota or Nissian. Service - Had my vehicle for a month, got it back and not even 24hrs engine light on, RPM going up and down, and engine started to make whining noise. Kept it for another week!! No apologies or trying to make it right with customer. It's because the car was under warranty nothing out of pocket, so feel like being treated different. Purchase a vehicle - Haven't heard back from them when requesting to remove all ad-ons. Literally says on the window sticker "optional". I was contacted by Travis who notified me that they had the exact make/model and color in stock in both new and used! After a few questions and a test drive I was ready to talk numbers. I have been going here for many years as they were just down the street from where I use to live and I've always gotten good service here. Had the truck in there yesterday for an oil change. Four stars because of the price of their oil changes which are the highest in the Valley. Almost twice as much as another dealer I looked up. My bad for not checking beforehand. Five stars for the service advisor Brianna Bourlie as she was really great through the whole process. I know good service advisors as I was one for over 25 years and I appreciated how she handled me. The purchase of the vehicle was relatively straightforward but getting a copy of the warranty was like pulling teeth. It was supposed to be in the vehicle at pick up. When that didn't happen there were multiple promises to email it and ultimately the only person who could do it was out of the office for several days. I went in and was able to purchase a preowned Nissan from Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe. The staff and customer service were really good. The finance manager went over every detail in my contract and answered all of my questions. The car is in really good shape and drives very nice. No problems there. I am overall happy with the purchasing experience and the car that I chose. So, why the 4-star rating? It's because you have to beware. I had purchased a certified pre-owned car which came with a warranty. Well, after two weeks of driving the car, I discovered that the tailpipe assembly for the car wasn't mounted to the frame, which is causing a vibration on bumpy roads that I had mistaken for road noise. I had called to get that looked at thinking that the warranty would cover it. I was told by their service department that they do NOT service non-domestic cars, including those that they sell. Hence, since my Nissan that I purchased is not GM, I have to take it to a Nissan dealership. So, even if you have a bumper-to-bumper warranty with Chapman Chevrolet, they won't honor it at their service center due to it being a non-GM car. I love the service that I received, and as I stated earlier the car is great minus the tailpipe assembly not being mounted to the frame of the car and the customer service was excellent, but I should have been made aware that even though the car does come with a warranty, it isn't covered due to it being a non GM car. When I asked at the time of signing if I had a warranty related issue that I could take it there to get fixed, I was told I could or take it to Nissan. They just don't work on those. read more
