This is not my original dentist that I go to, but we were close to this practice. So I went in an hour and a half later came out with a five minute bonding. They tried to sell me all this stuff about Bridges and plates and all this.. hand me sign something which I couldn't see cause I didn't have my glasses on. I was in the Dental chair. The only reason I went there is cause we were close to this spot. This is the worst establishment ever. I don't even think these people are real dentists. They had a helper that put in the bonding on my tooth. The last 10 minutes of my visit the first hour and 20 minutes was the insurance girl trying to explain to me that she's gonna get everything paid for by my insurance. Going real hog heavy into it how they can make the insurance pay for everything which I know is bull crap. Do not go to this practice! I have chronic pain and just laying in that dentist chair for an hour and a half for a 10 minute bonding was absolutely absurd. They're trying to grab as many people in there as possible. These new people that took over Gerlach are completely horrible. And I mean that by saying, I don't think that they are really dentists.. I now have a swollen face on my right side from where he did the bonding and apparently it is infected. I give this place an F minus. No wonder they got me in so quick. What a fool I was instead of calling my normal dentist.

Upon arrival I was told I had to reschedule. Really???!!! As a result, they will be losing 6 patients with my family. Heading to a new dentist. We sure miss the old Gerlach office!

I was dr Tran's patient since then she started this office, she was used to be more concerned with…read morethe patient's satisfaction and being on top of any issues but since last few years she hardly comes in and check the concerns and care about quality of work. She hardly stays in the room for a minute and make her staff to work the rest and by herself start working on the other client. Everyone needs more money but not giving proper attention to patient is not acceptable. Well recently I had the service done by her, I have crowned my teeth my front teeth have a bridge that came off I got appointment with her to get fixed she hardly works 5 minutes on me , didn't clean the bridge or my teeth and just glue it back and charged $440 for less than five minutes service. Apparently that was a mistake she had done and after a month that bridge came off again I came to get it checked then she said because of some gaps in between the bridge and natural tooth some bacterial infection happened so my tooth had been broken and have a big cavity underneath. She told her assistant to put that bridge back and give me estimate for the repair of $5000 as soon but since she has vacation and none working days so they gave me 3 weeks later appointment. The bridge when assistant put it back it was not even sitting on my teeth because of broken piece in then assistant told the Dr about it but didn't even give a second look and tried to fix properly with temporary bond she told me might be it will come off in a day but something from over the counter I can buy and use in the meantime and Waite for my appointment in 3 weeks. The next day it came off as she knew that it would be well I called the office if she can accommodate me in because it is emergency and can't wait for that long since I have been her patient since last 15 plus years and spent a lot of money every year including my whole family but Katelin replied back so rudely and said that she can't accommodate at all regardless. The worst worsted experience I had from her and by her staff. It was very frustrating and very unprofessional by her. I will never going back to her and neither my family. Very rude and unprofessional by her staff and by herself. I wish I could star her in minus 5

The complete absence of quality work, genuine patient care, and compassionate customer service was shocking. It was astonishing to see how little effort was made to listen to our concerns or to fix the terrible work that was done. The provider, Dr. Laura Ward, and the receptionist, Shondra, seemed completely disinterested in patient well-being, showing no real commitment to finding solutions or making things right. The work itself was utterly unacceptable: fillings fell out the very same day they were placed, and then came out again within a single day after the refill. To make matters worse, the receptionist, Shondra, was extraordinarily unprofessional and downright rude. The practice repeatedly canceled our appointments at the last minute, often due to last-minute office closures when we had scheduled our time, taken off work, and trusted they would be there to fix the problem they created. There was zero effort from anyone, be it the receptionist or Dr. Laura Ward, to acknowledge or correct the problems they created. Our experience was beyond unacceptable, and I strongly urge anyone seeking dental care to look elsewhere. This has been, without a doubt, the worst dental experience of our lives.

There are things in life we just do not like doing and dental work seems to be one of those things…read morefor most people..That said, I would fathom that its mainly due to the pain one is already in, or the perceived pain you might end up in, or plainly put, maybe its the needles. For me, it was getting rear ended where I managed to fracture teeth- my previous dentist at the time, had me on a treatment plan but for whatever reason was no longer reachable. I was desperate. So I put the call out at work (I work for a medical company) and my awesome coworker Eddie Brown said that I just needed to call her. So I did. (And since have recommended her numerous times, to friends at work!) They werent able to get anything from the previous dentist either, but she was able to start me on a treatment plan. That will have been a year ago in May that I started with her. I raved all over Facebook for my experiences, and truly thought I had put one on Yelp til I realized today, that I had not. Let me tell you the most amazing thing about the office first, they are detailed, to the core. They treat you like you are the only one there. They will work with you on schedules, they understand busy fast paced lifestyles. The assistants I have worked with, esp Brooklyn, are hardcore professional and friendly, she is always quick to smile and remembers you from the last time to the next. The desk staff (Kim and Jean, I think is her name) are sweet and friendly as well, and knows her stuff when it comes to various insurances and delays. Dr Wright and the original owner as well have both treated me, and it was like being seen by older sisters who are not only going to tell you like it is, but she is going to make sure you are not in pain. And here is the most amazing thing, and it deserves CAPS, pun intended, YOU CANNOT FEEL HER NEEDLES. I realize thats raising the bar, but she is THAT good. I simply do not know why there are no ratings for her on Yelp but I am rectifying that today with this one. I trust her completely and the drs she has had to refer me out to (repair root canal work, and an unfortunate extraction) were hands down the best in Louisville, and yet, I could feel their needles...Multiple visits in, she hasnt wavered in her attention to detail or that amazing ability to not let you feel the needle, including in the roof of my mouth. Do not let your dental work hold you back if its a fear of needles, you will not feel hers. Tell her I sent you!

Since I was 5 yr old, I'd only visited one dentist office, had one hygienist and scheduled with one…read morereceptionist. Until last month. When our hygienist left the office, I decided to make a change for my family and find a dentist close to home. I found Triple Crown Dentistry through Yelp and because of its location and recent positive reviews, bookmarked it. It happened to be my first dial during "research" and the receptionist was so helpful and friendly that I didn't dial another office. She booked me a spot in 2 weeks! At my former dentist office, we had to schedule 2-3 months out. When I booked, I was told my initial visit would be a bit longer. I would block approx 1 hour; however, other visits should be only half that time. This visit consisted of turning in my paperwork, having a full scan and a check for gum disease. My hygienist answered my questions, was talkative and looked at my scan in detail. The cleaning itself went quickly and I enjoyed meeting with the dentist. She and her husband, the other dentist, share the practice. I appreciated the discussion and casual atmosphere. My second visit was with my 12 yr old. He had a different hygienist and she came to the lobby to introduce herself. As promised, when it was time for Noah to be examined by the dentist, she grabbed me from the lobby. My son also received a scan and they noted changes with a 12 yr molar that would need to be reviewed with an orthodontist. Again, I appreciated the discussion of their personal experiences and referral for a spot that offered a free consultation. A positive for my son, the fluoride was applied with a brush by the hygienist rather than him having to sit with foam "teeth", gel and a suction tube. Much quicker, less disgusting! My husband recently had his first visit. Unfortunately he has undergone several root canals, cavities and an implant. He was super happy with visit and learned implants are offered by this dentist in the office next door. He felt more information had been given to him this visit than the last 5 years. To help with a couple of spots, he received a fluoride treatment. Already they've answered questions about our insurance coverage and invoices. Insurance was filed quickly too. I'll certainly be booking our youngest for a visit soon and plan to continue our visits every 6 months.

Dr. Mary Shields (Nunnally) presents an image of success -- from apparently needing financial help…read morefrom her parents to start her business to now operating multiple lucrative ventures alongside her dentist spouse, including cosmetic injectables training, WinDM training, Louisville Center for Excellence, implants -- lending to what appears to be a very affluent lifestyle affording a sprawling $2.5M home. Unfortunately, that success does not seem to translate into ethical or compassionate patient care. My experience was marked by what felt like deceptive billing practices, including not being clearly informed that the office was out-of-network with my insurance until after treatment costs became an issue, and a disputed balance of $479.20 turned into collections despite their own failure to file it with the correct insurance company after being informed of their error more than once -- AND after a written dispute was filed. In fact, when written concerns were raised about the quality of the work and the billing issues, the response I received was deflective, dismissive, and condescending rather than professional or solution-oriented. We had services that were not performed to proper standards and necessitated multiple visits but were still never resolved - leaving painful and sensitive teeth that had to be treated elsewhere. She never reached out and never apologized for the substandard care or inconvenience. "Their efforts" consisted of making excuses and minimizing the issues followed by a dismissal letter sent certified mail. It was an unprofessional, shallow response to legitimate concerns -- much like you can see in her response to other poor reviews for Triple Crown Dentistry. The office culture also came across as highly image-focused -- giving the impression that appearance matters more than patient comfort or transparency. (Just visit the FB page) Overall, the experience left me feeling misled, undervalued, and deeply disappointed by a practice that appears far more invested in luxury branding and profit margins than quality services, patient trust, and accountability. The dental work was substandard, dissatisfactory, and rushed -- she's obviously stretched too thin to prioritize quality patient care and responds to legitimate concerns defensively rather than constructively. The over billing practices also raise concerns -- as another online reviewer indicated -- charges were significantly higher than standard for several services, seemingly at the patient's expense. I imagine it lends to the lavish lifestyle. Save yourself the money, frustration, and unnecessary headaches by going elsewhere.
