I have been seeing Dr. Kadosh for over 20 years. In that time I have seen other dentists in between visits, because I lived far away, but Dr. Kadosh and his practice are truly the best. I recently had to have my front 4 teeth crowned, an it's always a bit traumatic to have one's appearance changed. I was so impressed by the work of Drs Soto and Kadosh. I am a very discerning dental patient, having had a LOT of work done over the years... and they are top notch. Thorough, meticulous, communicative, kind. And as for the final product? The biggest compliment I could imagine is an old friend, upon seeing my new teeth, exclaiming all night, "I want to get mine done too! They look so good!" The only reason for 4 and not a full 5 is that I think they could streamline their benefits investigations a bit. Other dental offices have always been able to provide me a prioritized report with what would be covered by my dental plan and what would be out of pocket, which is very helpful for planning. Also, scheduling can be challenging. But these are pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. read more

The best!! I've had a lot of dental work over the years - some of which has been semi-traumatic - so I spent a long time researching a dentist to replace my veneers. I took longer than I should have, mostly out of apprehension around having temporaries in place while the final veneers were getting ready. Well, Dr. Soto alleviated all fears at our first consultation. You can tell from his consult, Instagram feed, and other communications that he's not only professional, thoughtful, experienced, and knowledgeable, but passionate-- he truly loves what he does, and it shows. His office quickly fit me in and within about a month I had my 8 veneers replaced, with two new veneers based on a excellent recommendation from Dr. Soto to give me a more we'll-rounded look. I have never loved my teeth, but that all changed with his work. He somehow made my smile less gummy and fixed all of the parts of my teeth I didn't like. Not to mention, his staff is lovely and his office is new and modern (fully equipped with iPads for Netflixing during the long procedures!). And, my temporaries were beautiful! Almost as good as the finals. They were in for about a week and looked great. Overall, a procedure for 10 veneers would be quite the undertaking, but with Dr. Soto, it was all truly a delight. I'm always one to avoid going to the dentist, a friend of mine referred me and told me nothing but good things. I'm not one to take Bart so I drove in, parked over at the Stockten/Sutter garage (which has a good hourly rate) and just walked up to the office. The receptionist was so sweet and so welcoming. When I met Dr. Soto I explained my dentist fears and he was very understanding, I was super anxious and nervous but after getting to know the staff a little more I was able to relax a bit. I had my x-rays and cleaning done and I was very happy with how gentle and thorough they were. When I was done they explained what I needed work with and I have a follow up in three months and I will say, I'm not too nervous about that one. First, the office is beautiful with great modern style and Rachel at the front desk is very warm and welcoming. I had not been to the dentist in forever and no one made me feel bad about it. Everyone in the office is extremely pleasant and professional. I recently had all 6 of my old mercury fillings replaced by Dr. Soto., and couldn't ask for better work! He is a great addition to the practice and look forward to many more years of visiting their office. A few years ago, Dr. Kadosh arranged my Invisalign braces. To preface, I hate dentists; I have only had bad experiences ranging from over billing to unnecessary work. Because of this, it had been almost four years since seeing a dentist before seeing Dr. Soto. You can tell that he actually cares about you as a person, and how you are doing, rather than looking at you as a paycheck in his chair. The whole office remembers your name, family, etc. No surface conversations, they ask about the details of life is going: How was that race you were training for? Did you get that new job you were talking about? etc. They use new technology in everything from x-rays and electronic patient records to iPads so you can listen to music while in the chair. They even have this cool prop that goes between your rear teeth and holds your mouth open, so you don't leave with a sore jaw. The entire office are extremely good and careful about what they are doing. So much, that I have actually fallen asleep the last few times I have gone. They are good enough to finish their procedures without even waking me. Amazing, truly amazing. There is also the amazing front office staff who listen to you requests about how best to contact you and set appointments. I am horrible about setting appointments so I asked them to be tenacious, and they were to the extent that I have had quarterly appointments for the last two years. Sadly, I am moving out of state and will not be able to continue seeing Dr. Soto. I don't know if I will be able to find another dentist that I actually WANT to go see. I had a root canal. I know... I know. I got a root canal last January 2010 from my childhood dentist. I was at a restaurant eating chicken wings the other day and part of the crown cracked in half. Just like that. My childhood dentist didn't have a 24 hour emergency contact line, so my boyfriend suggested me to call his dentist(s) Drs. Kadosh and Soto. After my consultation the following day with Dr. Soto, I came to find I had an incomplete root canal. I must say I was extremely disappointed and furious with my previous dentist; however, after a few discussions about my procedure with Dr. Soto to make me have a better smile with my pearlies, I was extremely happy and impressed. The office and ambiance makes me feel comfortable and at ease to be there. I actually look forward to going to see my dentist. Weird right? The staff is amazing, and mind you, Margot is AWESOME! By far the best dentist I have ever had, and the office as a whole is just great. I love Dr. Kadosh. He is very sweet and takes the time to explain what is needed. He also has top of the line equipment. I had gone to the another dentist for 30 years and was amazed to see how much had changed! He has digital xrays and does a 360 picture of your teeth to assist him. If I had the option of giving Dr. Soto more than 5 stars I would. This is the best dental practice in San Francisco. Dr. Kadosh retired and was kind enough to find the best replacement for him ever. I was a long time patient of Dr. Kadosh and was a bit hesitant to stay with Dr. Soto. I am thrilled I did so. Dental work is by no means fun and having and excellent, gentle and experienced dentist is a must. I am so happy I have Dr. Soto. i had a cracked tooth and some other problems. Not only did he fix the problem he did so without any pain during or most importantly after.. Once the anesthetic wore of I was good to go without any pain whatsoever. What seem uncommon within not only the dental community, but the world of medicine, are physicians and practitioners who incur both talent and pose, and a wonderful personality. Dr. Robert Soto is the only one of the two dentists in his office who I got to know. His character is one of the most amicable that I have noticed in not only the community of medicine, but in my life thus far. I think I should break it down into his dental work, and then his personality. His dental work: If you are reading this review with intentions of getting dental work done, chances are you, like myself, hardly know anything about the anatomy of our mouths. With that in mind, I was still able to follow his work with complete understanding and trust. Why? He and his office not only monitored my dental progress and plans, but Dr. Soto went in depth with explaining the way he'll be treating me, going beyond the necessary with a tv-set up displaying my dental information, pictures, and plans, and providing a very comfortable atmosphere to be in. Like seriously Dr. Soto, it's like you think I know what you're talking about. Anyways, common things like painful anesthesia injections that have always kept me hindering from my childhood dentist are flipped completely with Dr. Soto's work -I've never felt any pain with his injections, and I still can't figure out why. He's a wonderful dentist. His personality: So, I'm a college student with hopes of making drastic changes in my life. I'm lucky to have someone like Dr. Soto, in my life. He mentors me, especially because he thrived in academia during his college years. Dr. Soto is also a very compassionate dentist, who would rather turn you down from an appointment if you are late, than take you, because he wants to spend the allotted time and necessary effort to do well with his dentistry.
