With thorough workups, he'll get the proper diagnosis, and has yet to be wrong about any of my cases. When I caught a severe case of COVID, it messed me up pretty badly. I was astounded about how knowledgeable he was. His recommendations on what I should do literally saved my life, because he educated me about where I needed to go and what needed to be done. He explains things to you with simplicity so you can understand. While he's also concerned about your emotional well-being, that's a unique quality in a physician because, he knows that emotional instability can affect you physically leading to medical issues. He is so friendly and he's pretty good at remembering who you are so you don't feel like you're going to become just another patient in the crowd. His office is located a block away from Grand Central Station so it's pretty easy to get to him. The check in process was a bit confusing to me. I entered one office to check in and the was told to go to another office where I was being expected. When I walked into that office, they had no idea who I was and I had to repeat the process of answering check in question all over again. If Dr. Wolff schedules you for a procedure, it will likely be downtown at Liberty Endoscopy. His staff there is very efficient and on the ball with time management. After prep, Dr. Wolff comes in for a short but sincere chat on what will be happening, how you're feeling, and time to give answers to any questions you might have. The next time you see him, it will be in the OR and he explains everything to you again as well as make sure you are okay. I love that he is so genuine putting his patients first. He or his anesthesiologist will guide you into lullaby land as you drift off to oblivion. And then you wake up to find that everything is done.
