We stopped at this roadside taqueria on the way to Oregon from Napa and we are so glad we did! Ample outdoor seating, fast friendly service, and authentic delicious Mexican Food! I got the flair as, they were perfectly crispy with moist flavorful shredded chicken inside and came covered in diced tomatoes, cream and shredded lettuce with this awesome chili red sauce! My friend got a tostada which was basically the same thing in a different form with the addition of refried beans as a layer under the rest of the ingredients . The salsa was very good, definitely hot- just the way I like it. I ordered a side of rice, because as a Latina, I often can judge a Mexican American food spot by the rice and brand alone. This rice passed the test! Could add a bit more tomato flavor but otherwise it was very good! The meal for two was $18 . I would definitely stop again. read more

I finally found this place!!! I first came across Roberta's waaaaay back in 2010. It's been 10 years since I first had their yummy tacos. We stopped by here on our way to Oregon while we waited for some friends. I've always wondered what happened to this place or where to even start looking for it whenever I drive through Williams. Today on my drive to Colusa, I was thinking about it again. I was hungry because I didn't eat breakfast before leaving my house. I asked my angels to take show me the way to food! I missed all the exits to fast foods and gas stations. I took the exit when I saw the signs to Starbucks and Chevron so I was going to settle for coffee and some madeleines. I then saw the familiar bright yellow building when I took the exit to get gas!! I felt like my angels did guide me and took me to this awesome taqueria! My heart jump for joy and my hands clapped in excitement! I even did a little dance in my car while stopped at the intersection. I couldn't wait to get out of my car that I forgot to unfastened my seatbelt! I thought I knew what I was going to get but my hungry belly couldn't decide. Stopped by this spot on the way back home to the bay. This place is only a to-go restaurant, they have a few benches around the store where you can sit and eat. There were a few people sitting and eating on the benches. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla, 2 tacos - 1 chorizo and 1 al pastor, and a carne asada burrito. The food took about 10 minutes. The food was very tasty! The quesadilla was a good size, the tacos had a lot of meat, and the burrito was massive. I also liked the hot sauce they have, it is very spicy and has a nice roasted flavor. This is a nice place to stop for lunch if you're in the area! read more

I was on a 4 day sick one feeling no bueno when I stumbled upon Roberta's. The staff at Roberta's took care of me just like my Abuelita would. Happy accidents are the best accidents! I had the intention of eating at another restaurant, however I saw this place was popping and cracking. So I decided to stop here to see if it was good. Because if there's a line of people, you would assume this place is good. Annnddd my assumption was correct! The food here was delicious! I got the carne asada super burrito with no sour cream. They actually remembered to NOT put sour cream. The carne was cooked perfectly with some crunchy bits. The beans and rice were also fire. They give you a pretty big portion so I was low key in a food coma driving home. We also got chicken enchiladas, which was also fire! The red sauce was sooooo flavorful and chicken was not dry. Beans and rice were also delicious. Only con was rice was a little mushy (we like ours less mushy). But the real star was the SALSA!! Omg it was sooooo good! It was spicy (and I love spicy and I felt the spice), so you know it was good. Really flavorful and not just spicy 1000000000000/10! Also got the horchata, which was good but could be less sweet. My total came out to be $29, which was worth it to me. 10/10 recommend this place - come early tho because we did have to wait a bit because it was during lunch rush on a Sunday. I get meals there often as I drive north and south on I-5. Their food is delicious. Have had their tacos, quesadillas, tostadas and chilis. All very good. Their chili verde is the best anywhere. My favorite place to stop between the Bay Area and Redding. Very nice people also. read more

This is a short walk from the EV chargers in the middle of Williams, and worth it. Roberta's is not slick looking from the outside, but the staff is friendly and all the meats we tried (between us we had carne asada, carnitas and al pastor) were perfectly cooked and really tasty. Fast and well-priced, the perfect amount of time to grab a snack while an EV is charging and then hop back on I-5. Five stars! read more

If I didn't live so far away, I would eat there a few times per week. It's a wait to get the food so call ahead as they're always busy. Seating is only outside so it's a no go in cold or unfavorable weather. Their breakfast burritos are the BOMB and very big! Best food is the freeway food no matter what time of the day. Driving from Los Angeles to Seattle will be passing by these taquerias almost every exit. I liked this place that it wasn't as busy and the friendly staff. They have great variety of meats for all their plates. They also sell hot sauces. Was disappointed that they ran out of the habanero one. To the gal who recommend other type of habanero sauce, get the Aardvark Habanero sauce, won't regret it. This is a convenient and inexpensive place to stop for lunch on a long drive, but the food itself is hit or miss. I've definitely had better! They offer many taco flavors and let you mix/match. I didn't realize until almost finishing my meal that the super burrito I ordered didn't have any of the promised guac, cheese or pico in it. It was about 50% lettuce. The house salsa was also too spicy for my liking. This is a very small shop with limited seating that is outdoor only. The bathroom was acceptably clean but didn't have a working light inside. read more

This is THE neighborhood spot apparently. The place was hopping on Friday night with a line waiting to order, which did mean we waited a little while for the food, but it was worth it! Plenty of food options, although they were out of goat that day. The burritos were huge, and the place has delicious hot sauces - even satisfying those who like to sweat from their food. WORST flaw, there was a young kid working the register taking orders. he took our order, read it back to us, and it was correct. when we recieved the order it was completely wrong. The other reviews are totally accurate! I can't pass by Robertas without stopping! I travel thru Williams often and always get my plate of pastor tacos! I try the pastor at least one taco at every place I go for Mexican, none match the flavor and texture of Roberta's pastor! Great place to sit, stretch and have some great grub! Awesome experience today at Roberta's . We were driving all the way from Glendale,AZ. After 18 hrs of driving and charging at Tesla Superchargers, got quite hungry. Everything closes early so we called and made a reservation at Granzella's Inn. Called while on the road to order ahead and picked up hot burritos. I had a green Chile burrito and added a Chile relleno inside of the burrito. It was about $14 of pure flavor. The meat was great and the cheese inside the Chile was right on point. I'll give them extra credit for being able to wrap it up tightly. read more
