I grabbed a spot at the bar and tried to get a drink. There was one gal bartending, and maybe 15 people hanging out. She had some patrons or friends that she was talking to. In between she was organizing a few things. It was almost 10 minutes of waiting to see if she would walk over mt way or make eye contact but no such luck. Their was some political talk goign on and a small aroma, maybe the bar mats, but I was about done waiting. We ended up sitting outside in 93-degree heat with three young children. There was almost no natural shade (not even one full table was shaded on the entire patio) and no umbrellas or sun shades. It was so hot that we actually had to take the kids into the bathroom at one point just to cool down for a few minutes. On top of that, drink refills were infrequent, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. The food was excellent, but better seating management and more attentive service would have made a huge difference, especially for families with young children.
