my husband and I were in the area and check to look what restaurants were open late and Giovanni popped up we sat outside in the little courtyard area that was so cute and we loved the vibe. Ordered a cheese Chicago style. Medium was big, so heavy. The crust was flavorful and the tomato sauce was good too. Not my favorite style of pizza because there is just way too much cheese. Super casual pizza and pasta joint (open late) and with plenty of outdoor seating (dog friendly). The included salad was simple but tasty - served with a piece of old school garlic bread - yum! Food is made to order so it's not quick, but that's actually a positive in my book. Canned, not fountain, drinks, but you can get a cup with ice. We ordered two pasta dishes: baked ziti and stuffed shells. Both were solid, tasty, and large portions. While not the greatest Italian food I've eaten, for comfort meals this is a super choice. I had the pleasure of trying this restaurant out last night . With luck they happened to be the only Italian restaurant open after 10pm . Location - Dope . Food amazing . I thought it was a bit pricey for two pasta meals and a slice of pizza . But honestly ... as a member of the fat people squad ... it was worth it . First off the customer service was A 1 , packaging A1 . Food was fresh and hot ! We got bonus garlic knots and a fresh salad . The spaghetti sauce made with real tomatoes ( my husband loved it .) The Alfredo sauce ... bro the Alfredo sauce was creamy , flavorful and hit the spot . This Alfredo sauce made me put my bob in a ponytail. Chicken - with the Alfredo Bussing . They weren't stingy with the sauce either ! I requested parm cheese and it was packed like a newborn baby . Any ways I don't have any pictures of my food because ... I'm pretty bummed because I love a good NY style pizza, but since they are on uber eats I can get my fix from time to time. - Chicken Parmagiana- Friend chicken breasts topped with marinara and mozzarella cheese on a toasted sesame bread. The marinara is robust and is the key ingredient to their great tasting pizza, pastas, and sandwiches. The bread was fresh and toasty. The sauce was savory. And, the cheese was pletyful. - Cheese pizza- NY style cheese pizza with a crispy, crunchy crust, topped with savory sauce and mozzarella cheese. I love to sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, and parmesan cheese on top to make the perfect slice. I ordered on the Slice app, the app has some issues and we had a little hiccup, but after a few minutes we got a text saying they were busy and it would take an extra 15-20 minutes. I WAS NOT PLEASED, but I understood. On arrival the place was VERY clean and orderly, our pizza was ready and my wife just about needed help to lift it. We ordered a 14" Chicago Deep with Ground beef, well done and no grated cheese on top (the wife hates that grated cheese). The pizza was well done, and done well. it looked amazing, it was cut but required a little more cutting as the cheese (of which there is a bunch) melted back together. The sauce was nice, not too tangy, sweet or acidic. The crust was simply magnificent. This was one of th best Deep dish experiences I ever had. My wife and I ate a slice each and split another, its filling. BUT SOO DELICIOUS! No place is perfect, but you put up with quirks when its worth it. No quirks, just an amazing pizza. I order the Chicago style pizza with pepperoni. The good: it tasted good but not great, medium was enough for 2-3 people. The bad: it was pricy for what you get. Paid extra for pepperoni and there was hardly any pepperoni and the ones that made it on the pie were paper thin!! For $37 I expected to see pepperoni all over the pie.
