Great little gem in Rosamond. I found this place while working seasonal at HRB and let me tell you it did not dissapoint. They have amazing barbacoa tacos and the churros are on point. Buyer beware. This place has always been our go to for snacks and ice cream which is still fair. We noticed last time they had a large variety of food, so we decided to try tonight. It's definitely a no for me. The food was way over prized, bite size and then the flavor was pretty bland and disappointing . My husband and son got a torta and said it was ok. We got two pupusas that are 4 bucks each and the size of a small corn tortilla and they were tasteless. Just tasted like over cooked masa. Gordita was bland, tasted mostly the cream. This place is crazy spent 25 dollars for 4 muletas and the food didn't look or taste plesent... Took my time to go back for either something else or refund. Mind you I was being polite to the person I was speaking to "owner/boss/manager". They asked what was wrong with the food and I said exactly what I said the food didn't look taste or look like what I ordered and the younger lady in the back wanted to put her two cents into the conversation again as I was being polite and took a turn for the worst when she started saying I was being rude and spoke how I felt and didn't like the food or service but yet again for the lady in the back work on your people skills and learn to read the room no one is speaking to you again as you said your a 20 or whatever year old can't even act like a lady. Rude, distasteful, disgraceful place for food, and service. As a customer they still refused to give me a refund and still try to give me half the food that I said I didn't want and replace the other half with something different at this point the foods getting cold and would still want my refund. read more

Deliciousness! Tacos are great! Elotes are a must! The obispos, raspados and Sundays or so good!! This is my favorite place.

Friendly service the women are all very sweet here fresh food and you get it in a timely manner.

It's crazy that I spent eight dollars on two drinks, a small, aqua Fresca, and a bottle of jarritos guava soda. On top of spending the eight dollars I had to spend a dollar to run the transaction. Then when I said what's with the extra dollar she points at a sign that she put the credit card reader over it so I couldn't see it so then I asked her why don't you tell customers about it and then she just pointed it. Can't stand going to places with young people working at it because then they have attitude. She already had a unwelcoming look about her with her, tattoos, her nails, and her eye eyelashes and her smug grin. Won't be coming back. Gave you 2 *because I like the stuff that you offered in there just not the employee or the inconvenience of how the transaction went. read more

I've been seeing birria tacos with the consomé trending on social media and I knew I had to try it, I googled birria tacos near me and they were the first choice. So we got the barbacoa taco plates. The tacos were delicious! But I was confused why it's called a "taco plate" and not just "tacos," when it isn't served with rice and beans, just 3 tacos. $8 for 3 tacos wasnt really what I was expecting. The whole purchase of 3 snacks (2 taco plates and a fruit cup) turned out to be $21. Then, I'm not sure what they were cooking with, but for some reason when they started making the tacos the whole place smelled like burning rubber. A bit concerning. So overall good tasting tacos, not so good fruit cup, and over priced, but it's also during COVID so you know, worth trying out to for yourself if you're up for that sort of thing. Semi side note... This place shares a tiny hole in the wall space with a small town dollar store in the shanty part of a small town, So it may not look the cleanest, or the fanciest, but you can see before you even walk in that that's just the kind of place it is. read more

I can't add a picture because my kids and I demolished our food. It was SOOOOO good. We had the chicken tacos and honestly, I hate to say this because I really like our local taco truck, but these were WAAAAYY better. (In my opinion). And their watermelon drink is so refreshing and delicious on a hot Southern California day. The cherry on top? The ladies who work there are SUPER sweet and helpful and kind. Highly recommend!!!!
