Also, several members of the local PD were here enjoying the food. I waited about 5 minutes before I reached the glass counter. I ordered the Fish Burrito Bowl with fried whitefish, cilantro rice, pinto beans, shredded cheese, Mexican cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, mango salsa, corn, sour cream, verde sauce, I was also given a small bag of chips with a cup of mild salsa, total $13.97 with tax. The portion size of the burrito bowl was a good amount of tasty ingredients, all stuffed into a deep plastic bowl. The breaded fish filets were crisp on the outside. I poured some of the salsa on the burrito bowl, making for also a great dip for the crunchy tortilla chips. Overall, Burrito Loco is another great option for Mexican fare in Epping, making this place the fifth Mexican eatery (fast & sitdown places) in town.

The rice was just as dry as mine and the beans were gross. Even the veggies weren't good. Instead of 6 tacos we got just 4-2 chicken 1 steak and 1 chorizo. Not sure if I was charged for 6 or not because I was never given a detailed receipt. The taco shells were so dry we tossed them out, all the meat was so dry we didn't finish! The only thing that seemed good was the cilantro. This place in my opinion is terrible so I am very surprised at all the good reviews but to each their own.

However, the second time we got takeout they forgot the verde sauce on my Husband's burrito, put my husband's queso order in a metal togo container like the one my burrito bowl came in. It was very soup and was a leaking mess by the time we got home. Not sure why it wasn't in a cup with a lid like the guac, and like it has been other times. Also, this second time I found myself chewing on a a large piece of chicken from my veggie burrito bowl - for someone who hasn't eaten animals in over two decades and had no intention of starting to do so, it was pretty awful. It was not yet crowded either time we ordered and was a weekday (around 5PM-ish). Given the first time we ordered was fine, we're thinking/hoping the missing verde sauce, soupy mis-packaged queso and chicken piece debacles were a reflection of an off evening in the kitchen. That said, next time we'll likely check our order before leaving with it.
